Problème de démarrage sous lubuntu
Bonjour,
J'ai un vieil ordi sur lequel j'ai viré windows xp et installé lubuntu, c'est un ordi fixe. Le problème c'est qu'il boot quand ça lui chante, dès fois il veut bien, et sinon il se met sur un écran noir et ne me laisse même pas aller dans le boot menu. Après plusieurs recherches j'ai décidé d'essayer boot-repair, je viens donc ici demander un peu d'aide pour déchiffrer le rapport, et ce que je pourrais éventuellement faire pour remédier à ce problème.

Salut superlocrian,
la fin du Boot-info (final advice) explique tout.
J'appliquerais à la lettre ce qu'elle propose:
Vous voudrez peut-être re-essayer après avoir créé une partition /boot (EXT4, >200MB, en début de disque). Cela peut être réalisé via des outils tels que gParted. Puis sélectionnez cette partition via l'option [Partition /boot séparée :] de [Réparateur de démarrage]. (http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/partition_boot)
Un lien pour t'y préparer: la doc partitions ou encore gparted.
En deux mots: il s'agira d'ajouter une partition de boot sur ton disque. Cela se fait à partir d'une session LIVE (CD ou clé USB), car on ne peut pas modifier les partitions d'un disque si on travaille dessus. Avant toute opération sur les partitions, sauvegarde tes données si tu en as déjà sur cet ordi.
Repasse ici si tu as des questions en cours de route.

Bonjour,
Déjà, merci hibou7 pour ta réponse, si j'avais fait un peu plus attention au rapport j'aurais pu le voir, bref, j'ai lancé Gparted aujourd'hui sur mon ordi, boot repair me conseille d'ajouter une partition de minimum 200MB en début de disque, or quelle est la taille maxi ou nécessaire que je dois prévoir ? 500MB suffirait ? plus ? moins ?
Si vous pouvez m'éclairer sur la question j'en serait ravi.

Merci hibou7, j'ai appliqué la modif pour 500MB en début de disque, bon ça n'a pas résolu le problème, maintenant après le lancement de lubuntu j'ai un écran noir avec un tiret blanc qui clignote, même après plusieurs redémarrages c'est pareil, un grand classique ce tiret blanc clignotant sur fond noir d'après mes lectures passées. Bon si vous avez quelques suggestions je suis preneur, mais c'est pas un ordi de grande valeur et je commence à penser sérieusement à le donner.

Peux-tu indiquer le modèle exact de ton ordi ainsi que le déroulement exact de ton installation.
Quelle version as-tu choisie? 32 bits ou 64 bits etc..
Cet ordi a evt un uefi.
Je n'ai que peu de connaissances dans ce domaine, mais d'autres sauront peut-être y voir plus clair??

Bonsoir,
Je te remercie pour ton aide hibou7, mais après réflexion ces derniers jours j'ai décidé de donner l'ordi à une asso de ma fac, il ne vaut pas grand chose (je comptais le revendre mais quand je vois des ordis impeccable et quasi neufs à 50€ avec windows 7 dessus ça me freine) et c'est une donc une trop grande perte de temps pour moi, au moins il sera utile à quelqu'un. En plus c'est pas la première fois qu'il me fait faux bond, donc là overdose.
En tout cas, merci de l'attention portée à ce problème et navré de ne pas avoir été au bout de ma démarche ( ça aurait peut-être pu aider certains) .

C'est vrai, quoi, cet ordinateur ne vaut pas grand chose, impossible d'y faire fonctionner Ubuntu, c'est donc sûrement une épave et s'ils ne peuvent rien en faire, ils peuvent toujours s'en débarrasser dans une déchetterie… à leurs frais.
