[RÉSOLU] Plus de Grub - problème de fonctionnement de Boot-repair

Bonsoir à tous,

Utilisateur novice d'Ubuntu, j'ai récemment installé la version 16.04 en dual boot pour cohabiter avec Windows10.
Ayant alloué initialement peu d'espace pour la partition linux ext4, j'ai lancé Gparted via mon LiveCD pour ré arranger les partitions. J'ai notamment suivi les conseils du lien suivant:

Tout marchait très bien, jusqu'au dernier point préconisant de reconfigurer le boot via Boot-repair. J'ai suivi ce conseil, mais me retrouve désormais sans Grub, en ayant pourtant suivi les instructions (du moins j'en ai l'impression) trouvée sur le net pour l'installation de Boot-repair via le LiveCD. Je me retrouve en effet, une fois le LiveCD enlevé, avec les lignes suivantes au démarrage:

Partant du constat que mes manipulations avaient désinstallé Grub sans le ré installer, j'ai donc relancer mon LiveCD en cherchant à le réinstaller une nouvelle fois via Boot-repair. J'obtiens cette fois un panneau me disant:

Il y a quelques anomalies dans ce Boot-Info dont la plus grave est l'absence de fichier /boot/grub/grub.cfg dans la partition racine de Ubuntu (sda6). Si tu n'arrives pas à t'en sortir avec Boot-Repair, je te suggère de faire une réinstallation de Ubuntu 16.04.1 64 bits suivant la Méthode 2

J'ai déjà essayé de ré-installer Ubuntu sur ma partition Ubuntu existante, mais je me suis rapidement retrouvé face à un message lié au montage des partitions, ce que je n'ai pas plus compris dans la mesure où je ne lançais pas Gparted depuis une partition montée mais depuis mon LiveCD. J'ai donc retenté la réparation de Grub, sans plus de résultats.
Je vais retenter la méthode 2 ce soir et poursuivre là-dessus si je ne trouve pas la raison du Please close all your package managers (software center, update manager, synaptic, ...). Then try again.

En attendant, des questions m'occupent l'esprit:

  • Pourquoi ma machine n'arrive-t-elle pas à détecter le système de boot de mon Windows10? Certes, Grub ne marche plus, mais quand ma machine était 100% Windows elle n'avait pas Grub non plus. Grub est-il un outil obligatoire dès lors que l'on a plusieurs partitions?

  • Plus généralement, est-ce normal que ma partition Windows10 (sda2 j'imagine? c'est la seule ayant un Boot Files qui me paraît plausible) ait un Boot sector type de type Windows8?

Après relancement du LiveCD, la réinstallation s'est finalement bien déroulée via l'option "Autre chose" de "Type d'intallation" préconisée par ton lien.
