Portable Optimus plus de HDMI entre autres

Bonjour,

Je possède un portable MSI  GP62 6QE-408XFR (Geforce 950m) avec la technologie optimus. Ubuntu mate 16.04 64bits

Il était bien configuré jusqu'au jour où l'extinction ne se faisait plus, obligé de forcer avec le bouton.
Je pense que c'est suite à une mise à jour où je n'ai pas redémarré au moment où on me le demandait.

Après pas mal de bidouilles j'ai décidé de réinstaller les pilotes graphiques en suivant la méthode suivante: https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/prime

Mais là, problème, l'écran principal fonctionne mais n'est pas reconnu par le gestionnaire d'affichage. L'applet luminosité ne fonctionne plus (barré en rouge). Mon écran secondaire branché en hdmi ne fonctionne pas. Je n'ai pas d'icône pour changer de carte graphique et Nvidia-settings n'a pas l'option non plus (configuration très basique)

J'ai depuis upgradé le pilote Nvidia en version 370.28 mais aucun changement.
J'ai aussi installé les derniers pilotes intel HD graphics.

Le soucis du non-arrêt/redémarrage est réglé par contre.

Je viens de remarquer que je n'ai pas de fichier /etc/X11/xorg.conf mais des fichiers xorg.conf.04242016 ...
