[BUG] Plantage de GIMP 2.8.18 dans les copier/coller

Bonjour,

La nouvelle version de Gimp se plante 9/10 dans les opérations de copier/coller, se qui rend le logiciel inutilisable au quotidien... Avec Gimp 2.6, je n'avais aucun p roblème. Je suis sur Xubuntu 16.04 et j'ai 8 giga de ram...

Quelqu'un d'autre à ce problème ou la solution?

quel est le message d'erreur ?

ou alors avec (quelques s après le plantage)

dmesg | tail -n 40

je ne suis pas un utilisateur intensif de the gimp mais avec xubuntu 16.04 8Go de RAM et la V 2.8.16, des essais de copier / coller n'ont pas donné lieu à plantage.
Si ça le fait avec une image au pif tiré d'internet, donne le lien que je fasse des essais.

Le plantage ce fait quasiment avec toutes les images. J'ai lancé  gimp depuis un terminal et j'ai plein de "Warning"... Je colle ici le résultat du terminal après plantage (la dernier ligne c'est quand j'ai fait copier/coller).

Entre des "warnings" (j'en ai plein avec le gimp des dépôts pour Trusty) et un bogue, il y a une marge certaine...

A noter, que juste avant d'installer Xubuntu, j'utilisais Kubuntu 16.04 et je n'avais aucun soucis avec Gimp. Pour Xubuntu 16.04, j'ai fait une nouvelle installation sur un disque dur vierge.

Eh bien maintenant,
1) Tu sais pourquoi la Doc explique que les ppa ne sont pas aussi fiables que les dépôts officiels.

2) Que faire ?
- Attendre une mise à jour correctrice, en espérant (car je n'ai jamais entendu parler de souci avec le ppa otto-kesselgulasch) que le problème ne vienne pas d'une incompatibilité avec l'un de tes deux autres ppa. Sais-tu que wine, les polices et gimp fonctionnent sans ppa ?
- Ou revenir, par la procédure de la Doc, à la version des dépôts.

Je vois deux choses dans le retour de GIMP que tu as :
1) un tas d'erreurs liées à GEGL
2) une erreur de X qui ferme le logiciel

Soit les deux sont liées, soit c'est un plantage indépendant.

Dans un premier temps, tu peux essayer de repasser à la version des dépôts. Je n'ai jamais eu de problème particulier avec le PPA de Kesselgulasch quand je l'utilisais mais on ne sait jamais.

sudo apt-get install ppa-purge
sudo ppa-purge ppa:otto-kesselgulasch/gimp

Normalement, ça devrait désactiver le PPA et repasser tous les paquets concernés à la version des dépôts Ubuntu.

Si le problème arrive encore, il faudrait voir si on peut désactiver GEGL mais je n'ai pas l'impression que ce soit encore le cas avec la version 2.8...

Enfin, le plantage de X pourrait éventuellement venir d'un problème de pilote : qu'est-ce que tu as comme puce graphique sur ton PC et quel pilote utilises-tu avec ?

Il n'y a rien en rapport avec Gimp dans les deux autres PPA : il y a celui de Wine et le deuxième concerne Font Manager, un gestionnaire de polices avancé pour Linux (et je conseille fortement d'utiliser la version du PPA, celle des dépôts 16.04 est complètement obsolète, le logiciel a été revu de font en comble il y a quelque temps).
