[Résolu] LiveUSB Bloqué Asus GL552VW Neuf

Bonjour à tous,

après avoir passé du temps sur la doc et le forum, même si j’ai vu des problèmes similaires, je me résigne à faire appel à l’aide car je ne trouve pas de solution. Je viens de faire l’acquisition d’un portable ASUS, modèle GL552VW : I5-6300hq, 8Go de ram, DD de 1 To, CG Nvidia GTX 960M.

Je l’ai pris sans OS (FreeDos) car que je voudrais éventuellement installer plus tard  Windows 10 en dual boot.

Je voulais donc créer une partition en EFI en prévision de win10 en début de disque, installer ubuntu sur une deuxième partition et créer une partition en NTFS pour partager les données entre les 2 OS.
J’ai suivi notamment ces tutos :

J’ai donc crée des usb bootable de la version internationale (ubuntu-16.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso), sur deux clés différentes, préalablement formatés en Fat 32.
J’ai réalisé une clé à l’aide de Rufus, l’autre à l’aide de Unetbootin. Le tout pour essayer Ubuntu dans un 1er temps, et d’utiliser Gparted ensuite pour faire mes partitions avant de l’installer.

Le problème c’est qu’après « try ubuntu etc. », l’écran de chargement se fige après quelques secondes. J’ai essayé tous les modes de boot : avec ou sans Legacy, « CSM launch », « PXE OpRom », et avec les deux clés, ça bloque toujours au même endroit.
La clé semble bien en UEFI car elle est proposé comme telle dans le choix de boot.

Y a t-il une incompatibilité totale ou ai-je loupé une étape ? Je suis en train de commander une nouvelle clé usb au cas où cela viendrait de là et Windows 10 plus tôt que prévu car j’ai besoin de la machine sous peu… Je devrais peut-être installer win10 avant Ubuntu finalement...

Bonjour,

j'ai effectivement pû avoir accès à une session live en tapant "e" sur la ligne "try ubuntu etc.", puis en remplaçant "quiet splash ---" par "nomodeset", et enfin en appuyant sur F10.
Je confirme qu'il y a trois  tirets sur la liveUsb réalisée avec Unetbootln :
"quiet splash ---"

Mais seulement deux tirets sur la clé réalisée avec Rufus :
"quiet splash --"

Depuis ma session live j'ai accès à Gparted et j'ai commencé à préparer ma table et mes partitions!
Par contre je lis dans ton post #15 que si j'installe ubuntu depuis cette session, l'option nomodeset sera conservée. Concrètement, ça veux dire quoi? Cela est dommageable?
Merci pour le coup de pouce en tous cas, je n'aurais jamais réussi à m'en sortir sans! [même en essayant de chercher par soi-même on ne tombe pas toujours sur les post qui correspondent à nos pb].

Non, je me suis mal fait comprendre dans ce post #15 : si tu as remplacé "quiet splash ---" par "nomodeset", l'option nomodeset ne sera pas conservée sur le Ubuntu installé. Il fallait bien regarder la vue que j'ai collée dans le post #15 : l'option nomodeset avait été ajoutée mais "quiet splash ---" n'avait pas été enlevé (c'est ça qui était merdique).
Après installation de Ubuntu, tu devras donc ajouter l'option nomodeset d'une façon semblable à celle que tu as utilisée pour parvenir à démarrer en session live, c'est à dire taper e pour éditer la première ligne du menu Ubuntu et remplacer "quiet splash ---" par nomodeset. A noter que pour faire apparaître le menu Grub au démarrage, il faut maintenir pressée la touche SHIFT (la touche des majuscules)

J'ai un souci, mais qui ne correspond plus trop au sujet de départ, puisque grâce à ta solution j'ai réussi à booter sur la clé usb.
Mais après installation, j'arrive au menu grub et si je tape "entrée" sur Ubuntu ça bloque après les qques lignes qui défilent. En revanche, après un reset, si je tape "e" sur la ligne ubuntu et remplace à nouveau "quiet splash" par "nomodeset" j'arrive bien sur le bureau ubuntu.

Y a t-il une solution pour éviter d'avoir à faire cette manip' à chaque démarrage? Je précise que j'ai bien retiré la clé et remis le disque dur en 1ère option de boot...

Tu as une carte graphique Nvidia, démarre avec le paramètre noyau nomodeset et ouvre ta session. Puis à partir du gestionnaire de Pilotes additionnels installe le pilote Nvidia proposé pour ta carte graphique.

Redémarre normalement ensuite sans éditer les paramètres du noyau.

C'est comme à question pour un champion : ça paraît facile quand on a la solution. J'avais fais les mises à jour logicielles, pas pensé à regarder les pilotes...

Mince maintenant je n'ai plus accès au menu de démarrage Grub, même en maintenant "Shift" (même si je n'ai qu'Ubuntu d'installé) et 2 fois sur 3 il met 3 plombes pour s'arrêter...

Pour faire apparaître le menu Grub au démarrage sans avoir besoin de presser la touche SHIFT, tu peux appliquer ce qui est expliqué dans ce post de marcodel : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.ph … #p16026791
Il ne faudra pas oublier ensuite de passer la commande de mise à jour de Grub :

sudo  update-grub

afin que cette modif soit effective.
J'espère que tu ne veux pas avoir accès au menu Grub pour ajouter l'option nomodeset : quand on utilise un pilote propriétaire, il ne faut pas ajouter l'option nomodeset au démarrage.

Non, je le trouve assez lent; pour un 7200 tr/min en plus. Il met 35s à arriver sur le bureau et 1min 30 pour s'éteindre...

EDIT : Ces deux modèles me semblent correspondre à ta description du post #1: le modèle ASUS GL552VW-DM099D ou le modèle ASUS GL552VW-DM762D. Ton modèle est-il un de ces deux là ? Sinon, je te prie de donner le nom complet de ton modèle. Je te demande ça parce que j'ai l'intention d'ajouter ton modèle dans la Liste des portables « Asus » et autant que possible je préfère mettre le nom complet d'un modèle.

Je ne suis plus sûr mais il me semble oui. Par contre hier soir il s'est éteint en 3s.. En même temps il n'y avait quasi plus de batterie mais je ne sais pas si il y a un rapport; je vais faire plusieurs essais à la suite.

Merci pour le modèle. En fouillant dans la page du modèle ASUS GL552VW-DM762D (modèle proche du tien), j'ai consulté les avis d'utilisateurs et j'ai trouvé l'avis de aurelia qui précise - tout en bas de son avis - qu'elle a installé "nvdia-361" comme pilote propriétaire. Peux-tu contrôler dans le gestionnaire de pilotes que c'est bien celui-là que tu as sélectionné ?

Concernant le long délais pour éteindre la machine, il semble que cela ne se produise que lorsque je fais un redémarrage. Si je fais un arrêt simple, ça va super vite.

Merci, je compte faire un tuto suite à l'installation de win10 (que je viens de recevoir en version cd) en dual boot.
Justement je reviens sur la durée de l'affichage du grub, que je voulais plus long avant d'installer l'autre os, j'ai suivi cette démarche (qui formalise bien ce qu'il y avait dans le post que tu m'as conseillé):
Réglage de l'affichage du Grub
Ne pas faire la même bêtise que moi : j'avais oublié de passer en mode administrateur (gksudo), et ne pas tenir compte du message d'erreur qui apparaît dans le terminal.
