bonjour et bonne année a tous
ce probleme apparait beaucoup, vue les demande d'aide sur internet et souvent résolu mais chez moi impossible.
sur mon DD j'ai les 2 dernieres version de débian et les 2 dernieres version de Kubuntu.
j'ai mis .mozilla sur un disque USB et fait un lien sur les 2 debian et les 2 kubuntu cela marchait sans probleme, sauf que mon disque usb est mort
J'ai effacer .mozilla et relance firefox meme message
j'ai créé un nouvelle utilisateur ( ou firefox marche tres bien) transféré .mozilla et changer les droits, toujours le meme message
si quelqu'un a une idee cela serait sympa

Donne

ls -la ~/.mozilla/firefox

et

ls -la ~/.cache/mozilla/firefox

Si firefox n'était pas lancé au moment de ces commandes, lance

firefox -g

puis va sur deux ou trois sites
puis par un autre onglet du terminal, redonne les deux commandes initiales,
ainsi que le retour complet de l'onglet firefox -g.

Mais si firefox était lancé au moment de ces commandes,
ferme-le
puis lance

firefox -ProfileManager

pour créer un nouveau profil.

c'est donc le firefox de root qui a fonctionner
