L'appellation DVI+1 porte à confusion avec DVI-I.

Il existe trois types de prises :
* le DVI-A (DVI-Analog) qui transmet uniquement le signal analogique ;
* le DVI-D (DVI-Digital) qui transmet uniquement le signal numérique ;
* le DVI-I (DVI-Integrated) qui reprend (sur des broches séparées) le signal numérique du DVI-D et le signal analogique du DVI-A.

DVI-I 24+5 dual link(voir l'image 6)
(PLEASE NOTE THIS ADAPTER WORKS WITH DVI-I ONLY, WILL NOT WORK WITH DVI-D PLEASE SEE PHOTO SHOWING DIFFERENT TYPES OF DVI PORTS)

Description DVI

laurent@laurent:~$ cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Section "Device"
Identifier "1 Configured Video Device carte"

EndSection

Section "Monitor"
        Identifier "monitor_internal"
        Option "RightOf" "monitor_external"
EndSection

Section "Monitor"
        Identifier "monitor_external"
        Option "Primary" "true"
EndSection
laurent@laurent:~$
laurent@laurent:~$ cat "/var/log/Xorg.0.log" | grep "fail"
[ 25.410] (WW) xf86OpenConsole: setpgid failed: Operation not permitted

[ 25.855] (II) VESA(0): VBESetVBEMode failed, mode set without customized refresh.
laurent@laurent:~$
