installation sur HP Split x2
Bonjour,
Voici mon problème : un pc-tablet HP split x2 qui marchait très bien sous win10 est soudain tombé en rade, impossible de démarrer. il ne trouve pas le secteur d'amorçage, pourtant le check du disque dur (un SSD 64Go) me dit qu'il va bien.
J'arrive à booter sur ubuntu live USB, ça fonctionne plutôt bien y compris l'écran tactile. Mais comme c'est un pc-tablette je perds la possibilité de séparer l'écran, car toutes les prises USB sont sur la partie clavier, aucune sur la tablette.
J'ai tenté d installer ubuntu sur /dev/sdc qui est une carte SD (16Go). a priori l'installation a fonctionné, pas de message d erreur, mais pourtant il ne redémarre pas sur la carte SD. J'ai fait le diagnostic boot-repair a partir de ubuntu live (il me dit réparation réussie mais néanmoins ça ne redémarre pas mieux). On dirait qu'il peut démarrer sur une clé USB mais pas sur une carte SD ce n'est pas vu pareil par le bios ?
Accessoirement j'aimerais bien réparer la partition SDA avec windows 10 histoire de pouvoir l'utiliser en mode tablette.

je suis toujours a la recherche de ma partition sda/ et j ai utilise TestDisk pour faire un scan, il semble retrouver les partitions UEFI mais avec un defaut et en utilisant les secteurs backup

je n'ai pas trouve dans le bios d'option pour autoriser un fichier specifique. je n'ai que une option boot secure on/off et une obtion boot legacy on/off
et meme comme sequence de demarrage je n'ai que 4 choix : le DD du SE, USB, cd-rom ( mais le split x2 n'a aucun lecteur cdrom... ) et demarrage du reseau. est-ce possible depuis une partition GPT d'installer un dual boot win/ubuntu ?

testdisk a trouvé un disque de 64 Go avec SDA, Vu ce que tu décris, c'est le SSD
Sa table de partition primaire est quasiment fichue. Il m'a bien semblé que la duplication de cette table de partition n'est pas parfaite.
Le plus simple va être de réinstaller windows dans SDA et, pourquoi pas, aussi UBUNTU! car avec 64 Go, il y a la place.
Mais auparavant je te propose de regarder un peu mieux l'état de ce SSD avec smartcontrol c'est le chapitre 4 de https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/smartmontools

j'ai pu installer ubuntu sur une clé usb c'est déjà mieux que la version usb live où j'avais même pas le clavier fr à chaque redémarrage j'essaye de ne pas toucher au SSD (le SDA de 64Go) car j'ai encore un peu espoir de le restaurer, j'ai posé la question sur le forum hp aussi au cas où... parce que j'ai upgradé en win10 et que ma clé de recovery est win8.1 je suis pas sur de pouvoir refaire l'upgrade gratuitement maintenant.
Ensuite, j'ai tenté plein de fois d'installer ubuntu sur une carte microSD interne mais pas moyen qu'il démarre la dessus. il ne démarre que sur USB désormais.

Tu peux refaire une installation neuve en téléchargeant l'ISO de windows dans le site de microsoft https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/softwar … ndows10ISO
Tout cela à partir de ton ubuntu tout neuf.
Après, une solution simple
Tu fabriques une partition primaire FAT32 de 6 Go sur une clé USB ( Voir celle qui contient ton ubuntu s'il lui reste de la place)
Tu cliques sur le fichier ISO téléchargé. Tu ouvres avec le programme 'monteur d'ISO" de ubuntu et tu fais un 'glisser" des 4 répertoires et des 4 fichiers dans la nouvelle partition FAT32.
Si c'est une nouvelle clé USB, Elle sera bootable.
Si c'est la clé de ton UBUNTU, il faudra utiliser le grub car avec HP le choix du fichier de boot est rarement possible.
Mais c'est très simple. Je te donnerais la codif si tu es dans ce contexte.
Et Si tu avais fait l'installation de windows10 avant Fin juillet 2016, tu conserves la clé d'activation numérique,
Quand tu referas l'installation, je te conseille de fabriquer une table de partition GPT afin d'avoir un BOOT EFI.
Car je ne sais pas trop si l'installateur de windows le fera automatiquement vu l'état de cette table de partition.
Le but de la commande, n'était pas de tester mais de récupérer les quelques statistiques.
Beaucoup ne sont pas très bien connues.
Mais il ne semble que celle-ci est anormale( Mais je n'ai rien pour comparer en SSD) et pourrait expliquer? ce qui vient d'arriver

Finalement j'ai pu remettre win 8.1 à partir de la carte SD de recovery sur le disque SSD. il a laissé un espace de 15Go (en fait encore une partition recovery je crois) sur lequel je pourrais tenter d'installer ubuntu mais je suis pas sur que le boot EFI le supporte?
En effet je ne comprends pas ce bios, il est EFI ou pas? une clé usb live ubuntu c'est un boot EFI ? pour l'instant, le boot est en mode non sécure et windows me le dit, je vais essayer de remettre les paramètres par défaut du bios mais du coup je ne sais pas si ça supporte un dual boot windows / ubuntu ?

Pour le premier point, Il serait bon que tu refasses un boot-info afin qu'on puisse voir comment windows est maintenant vu et envisager comment installer ubuntu
Pour le point 2, Ton bios est avec certitude EFI. Le premier boot-info le dit clairement.

Cela veux dire qu'il va regarder dans les partitions présentes s'il trouve des partitions FAT32
Puis dans les partituons FAT32, s'il trouve des fichiers de boot suffixés . EFI
Puis il doit booter avec ces fichiers.
En EFI, Il y a l'option SECURE qui peut être OFF Dans ce cas, les fichiers trouvés peuvent booter.
qui peut être ON. C'est ton contexte. Dans ce cas, les fichiers trouvés reçoivent un contrôle complémentaire pour avoir un contrôle de CHECKSUM pour se prémunir des virus.
Donc le bios regarde si le fichier de boot est dans sa liste. Si oui, il vérifie que le checksum est toujours celui qu'il connaît.
Jusqu'à ce jour, je considère que les bios de HP ne connaissent pas ubuntu. Donc le boot de UBUNTU en mode sécure est totalement impossible.
Pour avoir une chance de booter ubuntu, sur un HP il y a deux possibilités.
à) Dire qu'on oublie le mode sécure.
b) Dire au bios d'ajouter dans sa liste le fichier de boot de ubuntu qui s'appelle SHIMX64.EFI
Cette procédure est abondamment décrire pour les micros ACER. Certains micros ASUS ont cette possibilité. Il me semble avoir vu que maintenant quelques micros HP offrent ce choix. Je ne sais pas si ton modèle le possède.
Pour cela, il faut sacrément chercher dans les options du bios sécurisé. Si tu trouves des commandes te permettant de visualiser les fichiers de boot présents ou de les rechercher dans les partitions.
Voila ce que c'est qu'un bios EFI pur et dur. Mais pour une certaine compatibilité avec le vieux matériel, ils ont une option dite LEGACY/HERITEE
qui permet de dire que le boot ancienne méthode est possible.
a) Sur tous les supports ou seulement les supports externes.
b) Qu'il faut le tenter soit avant le boot EFI et faire le boot EFI si ce vieux boot ne marche pas.
soit après le boot EFI et qu'il faut le tenter si le boot EFI ne fonctionne pas.
c) Qu'il ne faut jamais le tenter.
d) Qu'il ne faut jamais tenter le boot EFI.
Comme tu le vois, c'est assez compliqué. En plus si windows a été installé en EFI, Il faut nettement préférer une installation EFI de ubuntu et si windows a été installé en LEGACY il faut nettement préférer une installation LEGACY
Si ce choix n'est pas respecté, ubuntu ne verra absolument pas la présence de windows et ne proposera son boot.
Le démarrage d'un boot LEGACY via le bios est très simple. Il lit les 448 premiers octets du disque et exécute ce qu'il y a dedans sans se poser aucune question. Tu as juste le choix de prioriser les disques.

Voici le nouvel état de mon disque, win8.1 est désormais bien installé, sur sda4 avec moins de 50Go
et sda5 est une partition de recovery windows que je peux supprimer car j'ai le backup sur une carte SD. 11Go ça suffira si je tente d'installer ubuntu, sachant que de toute façon tous mes doc sont sur des DD USB externe non?
Je n'ai aucune option dans mon bios qui me permette d'ajouter des fichiers de démarrage, donc on oublie le 2 et je devrais rester en mode pas secure je suppose ça a un impact sur les performances du pc? Ou sinon, c'est pas possible de faire une clé usb bootable avec une install perenne de ubuntu sur le dd interne sda? si je laisse la clé USB, démarrage ubuntu en mode pas secure, et si j'enlève la clé, démarrage normal win en mode secure?

Voila ce que je te propose
A) Supprimer SDA5 puisque tu dis avoir son double. Ce qui est une excellente idée.
B) Booter pour vérifier que windows fonctionne toujours.
Choix 1
C1) Installer ubuntu en faisant du standard. C'est à dire l'installer "à coté de windows" en automatique.
Cela devrait fonctionner car la partition SDA5 que tu as supprimée libère un espace de 12 Go.
Pus tard, il faudra s'occuper de la gestion de la partition swap qui a été créée et qu'il faudra supprimer pour que ubuntu ne soit pas à l'étroit.
Choix 2
C2) Installer ubuntu en faisant du manuel. C'est à dire l'installer avec la méthode "autre chose".
Tu devras lui affecter l'espace inutilisé pour la partition / à mettre en ext4
Tu devras lui dire que tu es bien conscient qu'il n'y a pas de partition swap lorsqu'il se mettra à la réclamer..
Notes que le mode non secure permet de démarrer un tout petit peu plus vite car le contrôle du fichier de boot n'est plus fait.
Pour le fonctionnement au quotidien, il n'y a aucune différence; sauf que les instructions qui décident de modifier le bios ne sont plus vérifiées comme lors d'un fonctionnement en LEGACY
J'ai noté que ton micro doit avoir 4 Go de RAM. Cela doit suffire pour fonctionner sans swap.
S'il se révèle qu'une application particulière a besoin de plus que cela de swap, il sera toujours possible par la suite d'ajouter un fichier de swap
Mais d'après ce que je vois dans le forum, c'est seulement avec 2 Go de RAM que ce cas se produit.

Ok ça a parfaitement fonctionné
j'ai choisi l'option 1 et j'ai donc le swap et moins de 8Go pour linux mais ça suffit, je ne pense pas ajouter beaucoup de logiciels.
Du reste je suis resté en mode "secure boot" et le boot ne voit pas linux et démarre sur windows par défaut, je dois interrompre le boot avec F9 pour avoir le choix entre linux et le windows boot manager.
