[résolu] Thunderbird tourne en rond // Impossible de changer les pass

Bonjour,
J'ai un soucis "classique" dans Thunderbird, à propos de mots de passe des comptes mails.

Je ne l'ai plus utilisé depuis pas mal de temps, et en le relancant, il tourne en rond, et ne se connecte plus.
Même en changeant/supprimant les mots de passe dans Options/Sécurité/Mot de passe, rien ne change. Et d'ailleurs, les mots de passe ne sont pas tous dans la liste, voir même presqu'aucun.

Pourquoi çà ?

Quelle extensions as-tu ?
Est-ce que ça le fait en safemode ?
(Si oui, tu peux tenter une [url=[modéré : pas d’auto-pub, merci]-reparer-thunderbird-3-commandes/]petite manip pour réparer Thunderbird[/url] )

..Vérifie aussi que tes hébergeurs mails ne t'aient pas blacklisté : ça peut arriver quand un vieux mdp traîne dans TB, il va alors tenter répétitivement d'accéder au serveur, qui lui réagira en se fâchant si il a une bonne sécurité.

Salut,

Merci. J'ai fait ta petite manip, sans succès.
Je suis passé en safe mode et cela change rien.

Pour ce qui est du blacklistage, cela serait surprenant que tous les hébergeurs m'aient bloqué smile. J'ai des mails chez Free, Riseup, yahoo, etc smile

J'ai regardé dans les logs, mais y'a rien de bien transcendant sad

Essaie avec l'un des comptes compromis en le supprimant, puis le recréant, pour voir;
Donne nous aussi :

Arf ! tu as une palanquée de PPA dont des trucs parfaitement rock'n roll comme nilarimogard qui apporte plein de paquets expérimentaux et leurs dépandances;
Tu as aussi des trucs qui restent de wily;
Il faut impérativement faire le ménage là dedans (et supprimer tout ce dont tu ne te souviens plus ou ce qui apporte des paquets courants.)

Pas la peine de chercher à réparer un paquet légitime pas en forme avant cela..

Donc, en gros, je supprime via "software-properties-gtk" (même s'ils sont décochés) les paquets qui sont taggés

- "xxx/ubuntu wily main"

et ceux dont je me rappelle plus pourquoi ils sont installés ? smile

Oui !
et bien sûr nalimachin tongue

Vérifie les autres dans launchpad (ce qu'ils contiennent)
Exemple : recherche goo launchpad gencfsm-ubuntu-ppa permet de trouver https://launchpad.net/~gencfsm/+archive/ubuntu/ppa
Et de voir qu'il contient des paquets valides pour la 16.04 (par contre je n'ai pas la moindre idée de ce à quoi sert gnome-encfs-manager )

Je suggere de virer tous les PPA Puis de réinstaller plus tard ceux qui sont vraiment nécessaires en ayant d'abord installer ppa-purge pour a l'avenir les gérer proprement.
Même ton skype stable n'a aucun intérêt..

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*

Puis il faut nettoyer le sources.list en passant un 

gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Dans le fichier qui s'ouvre, remplace tout par :

# newer versions of the distribution.

Ferme en enregistrant.

Puis

sudo apt-get autoclean
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt update
sudo apt full-upgrade

Puis pour gérer à l'avenir tes PPA :

sudo apt install ppa-purge

(tu n'auras plus qu'à passer un 

sudo ppa-purge ppa:leppadontjen'aiplus besoin

)

Une fois tout cela fait on pourra revoir le cas de ton TB

Ok. Me voilà neuf et tout vide (les dossiers) smile

J'ai relancé TB et un peu pareil, sauf que là, j'ai "impossible de se connecter à .... La connexion est refusé".

Alors que c'est un compte @free.fr est que mon provider est Free. Cela ne devrait pas poser problème.

oui, en IMAP.

D'ailleurs, j'utilise le soft "PopPeeper" (Désolé Ubuntu, mais j'ai pas trouvé l'équivalent....:cool: ) qui, lui arrive à tout lire (pop et/ou imap).

"Karsher"... cela me rappelle vaguement quelqu'un... mais qui ? hmmtongue

Bon, fais bien attention de copier/coller (sélection de chaque commande par triple clic).

sudo apt purge --auto-remove thunderbird
sudo mv ~/.thunderbird ~/thunderbird.hold
sduo apt autoclean
sudo apt clean
sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade
sudo apt install thunderbird

Et là, recrée tes comptes un à un

Tu pourras virer le dossier ~/thunderbird.hold quand tu auras terminé. (il est curieux que tout ton profil se soit corrompu à ce point !)
Surtout, bien copier la commande (triple clic pour la sélectionner sans erreur)

sudo rm -rf ~/thunderbird.hold

Attention aux lecteurs de ce fil, ne jamais passer cette commande sans contrôle : mal passée elle peut effacer tout le /home voire tout le disque

Tiens, pour gérer à l'avenir ta boulimie de PPA :

sudo apt install ppa-purge

...et quand tu auras constaté qu'un PPA te pourri tout :

sudo ppa-purge ppa:levilainppa

tongue Tu as Ubuntu Studio ?

Sinon, tu disais avoir une adresse en yahoo : évite comme hotmail, gmail, etc... Tout ça c'est indiscret, attaqué...

Non, je n'ai pas Ubuntu Studio smile
Pour les adresses mails, j'ai déjà cloturé 2 @yahoo.fr, la troisième est en cours smile. Le compte gmail, je ne m'en sers jamais. Donc, je suis plutot sécure smile

J'ai surtout des @riseup.net et @protonmail.ch
