Plantage du gestionnaire de fichiers

Bonjour à tous, je viens demander votre aide pour un petit problème que je n'arrive pas à résoudre.

Voilà les symptômes: il arrive régulièrement que mon dossier uilisateur, sans raison apparente, refuse subitement de s'ouvrir. La fenêtre du gestionnaire de fichiers (Thunar) est vide, mouline à l'infini, et affiche "chargement du dossier". Les tentatives pour ouvrir ce dossier en ligne de commande et/ou avec un autre gestionnaire de fenêtres (PcmanFM) donnent le même résultat.

Seule solution, redémarrer la bécane...mais dans ce cas il est impossible de le faire proprement, je me retrouve sur un écran noir avec "nom de l'ordi login" et un curseur clignotant...qui ne répond à rien bien sûr. Seule solution, appuyer sur le bouton d'alimentation.

Comme il n'y a pas de message d'erreur, impossible d'imaginer l'origine du problème.

Par ailleurs, je suis en train de faire une sauvegarde de mon disque dur externe (plusieurs centaines de Go), et le gestionnaire de fenêtres freeze régulièrement, là encore sans le moindre message d'erreur (impossible d'ouvrir un terminal pour au moins démonter le disque proprement et redémarrer...). Quelqu'un aurait-il une piste?

Bonjour,

Une piste, non, pas vraiment, mais un gros doute : ton problème ressemble à un disque dur en train d'expirer...
Puisque tu en as entrepris la sauvegarde, met le paquet d'abord là-dessus pour mettre tes précieux octets à l'abri si possible !


Plus de 50 ans d'informatique, ça en fait des lignes de commandes en console, mais on n'avait pas le choix...
Excellente raison pour, aujourd'hui qu'on le peut, utiliser au maximum les INTERFACES GRAPHIQUES !

Salut Erresse,

Excuse-moi pour ma réponse tardive: j'ai vérifé mon disque externe avec fsck. Il y avait effectvement des erreurs qui ont été corrigées.

Puis j'ai voulu faire aussi un fsck sur le disque dur de l'ordi, après avoir sauvegardé les données...donc je viens d'essayer de démarrer en session live, pour découvrir qu'il y a un sérieux blocage.

J'ai essayé avec plusieurs images iso différentes (clé USB créée en ligne de commande), deux clefs, un CD, et Plop manager auquel habituellement rien ne résiste...et IMPOSSIBLE de booter sur l'image *.iso. Bien sûr, j'ai vérifié l'ordre de boot dans le BIOS.

Donc là je commence à me demander s'il n'y a pas un problème matériel quelque part (c'est un Thinkpad X200 avec une demi-douzaine de ports USB, que j'ai tous essayés). En attendant je sèche encore...

Edit: j'ai trouvé un petit quelque chose au moyen de la commande dmesg:
