scan 1ere page puis ne fonctionne plus

bonjour,
Avec UBUNTU MATE desktop environement 1.12.1,
j'utilise outil de numérisation simple scan
la 1ere page scanne normalement, je mets la 2e et après il cherche sans fin la suite et s'arrête sans avoir scanné
merci de votre aide

rebonjour,
je complète l'info : le scanner est un Canon F914600 assez ancien
il marchait très bien avec Ubuntu 16.04 LTS/Simple-Scan, mais pas avec XSane
depuis que je suis passé à Ubuntu Mate 16.04.1 LTS, avec Simple-Scan, il scanne la 1ère page et après il ne trouve pas la suivante
et ne marche pas du tout avec XSane
merci de votre aide

mes dernières investigations :
la première page est scannée correctement, pour la 2e, le scanner est perdu
scanimage -L ne voit pas de scanner tandis que lsusb le voit...
quelqu'un peut-il m'aider à y voir plus clair ?

Je n'ai pas retrouvé de fils (bien qu'ayant cherché), mais je sais que c'est un problème récurrent. Probablement pas propre à ton modèle de scanner-imprimante.
Dans les fils anciens que j'avais lus sur le même thème, une solution était trouvée. smile

Oui ton scanner, celui qui a ces identifiants : 0x04a9/0x2206  ou en abrégé  04a9:2206, est plus connu sous le nom de CanoScan N650U/N656U.

Je ne suis pas des spécialistes du scan. Mais montre-leur :

uname -mr; lsb_release -d
cat /etc/apt/sources.list | grep -v ^#
dpkg -l | grep sane
ls -l /etc/sane.d
cat /etc/sane.d/plustek.conf

  - -
Et bien entendu, assure-toi que ton scanner soit branché directement (sans hub) au pc.
Et même évite de brancher tout hub pendant tes essais, et limite au maximum le nombre de périphériques usb. Parce que les alimentations ont des limites.

On se place dans le répertoire contenant plustek.conf :

cd /etc/sane.d/

Avant tout, on fait une copie de sécurité du fichier dans l'état où il était hier, pour pouvoir revenir en arrière :

sudo cp plustek.conf  plustek.conf.20170327

Débranche ton scanner du pc.

Ensuite tu vas éditer plustek.conf avec les droits admin :

gksudo xdg-open plustek.conf

Tu y rajoutes ces deux lignes :

[usb] 0x04a9 0x2206
device auto

Tu enregistres.
Tu reviens dans ton home :

cd

Tu as au moins un fichier de configuration en trop "rc  libsane-hpaio:amd64", donc on nettoie :

dpkg -l | grep ^rc | cut -d' ' -f3 | xargs sudo dpkg --purge

  - -
Tu redémarres (j'ignore si c'est nécessaire ou non, mais bon...).

Tu rebranches le scanner, tu testes avec plusieurs logiciels,
et tu racontes en détail.
Si ça ne marche pas, je préviendrai des spécialistes.  smile

je suis sur Ubuntu  Mate, et ce qui est étrange, c'est que quand je boot sur Tails 2.11 (une version de Linux pour surfer incognito) qui a les mêmes fichiers de config concernant les scanners, dans lesquels mon scanner ne figure pas, le scanner marche impec..

Quel est l'environnement de bureau de Tails 2.11 ?
  - -

Pour identifier le problème avec Ubuntu Mate 16.04.1,
ouvre un terminal et lance le logiciel de scan en ligne de commande,
ensuite utilise le scanner normalement jusqu'à apparition du problème,
et donne alors le retour complet.

Après 20 jours, le spécialiste n'a pas pointé le bout de son museau...y a-t-il un spécialiste ans l'avion ?
Qu'il se fasse connaître !

mon scanner ne marche toujours pas au-delà de la première page et mon imprimante yoyotte de la touffe tandis que ma souris marche au ralenti...

Même le clavier n'enregistre plus toutes les touches...

il semble qu'une grande partie de mes soucis, ralentissement de la souris qui saccade, panne de l'imprimante, clavier qui ne tape pas toute les lettres frappées, venaient du driver vidéo. J'ai supprimé le driver x.org et j'ai mis le driver NVIDIA à la place
ces problèmes semblent résolu
il reste le scaner qui n'imprime qu'une page et qui se bloque après...

J'ai supprimé le driver x.org et j'ai mis le driver NVIDIA à la place

Si j'étais à ta place, je partirais à la recherche, dans mon home, de tous les fichiers et répertoires de configuration de toutes mes applis de scan. Et je les supprimerais impitoyablement.

D'abord, afficher les éléments cachés.

Ensuite, dans

  • /home/toi

  • /home/toi/.cache/

  • /home/toi/.config/

repérer les fichiers ou répertoires nommés (.)X(.conf), où X est le nom de tes logiciels de scan (simplescan, gscan2pdf, xsane...).

Les renommer en .bak ou .old., ou les mettre à la corbeille.

Ils seront ainsi recréés à la première utilisation, sans tenir compte des réglages antérieurs.
