[RESOLU] Minidlna : problème de configuration

Bonsoir à tous !

Je viens de me lancer dans l'installation de Minidlna afin de lire les vidéos de mon ordinateur ( Lenovo / Ubuntu 16.10 ) sur mon lecteur BluRay et/ou TV ( Sony dans les 2 cas ) le tout relié en ethernet.
J'ai consulté la documentation de Minidlna ainsi que le forum et je n'arrive pas à configurer correctement mon serveur.
A force d'éditer les différents fichiers et modifier le user en "root" puis en "monuser" puis re en "root" au fil de mes lectures, j'avoue m'être perdu en route ( root ! Désolé ! )
J'imagine que mon problème est une banale histoire de droit mais toujours est il que mon serveur apparaît bien sous son "friendly user name" sur mon écran de TV mais dès que je navigue dans l'arborescence : " il n'y a aucun fichier lisible"

Voici une copie de mon fichier de configuration, vous y verrez sûrement plus clair que moi

J'ajoute que ces histoires de serveur sont nouvelles pour moi, ( mon ancienne Freebox faisait cela très bien toute seule mais pas ma nouvelle Box Orange ) alors merci pour votre indulgence et votre aide

d'après mes souvenirs , mais je n'en suis pas sur
media_dir=xxxxxxx où xxxxx est le répertoire qui contient les vidéos , ou images
et
db_dir=/var/cache/minidlna , c'est l'endroit où minidlna ira stocker sa base de données

je vois que tu as mis media_dir=/var/lib/minidlna , pourquoi pas mais ça m'étonne
il faut aussi enlever le commentaire à la ligne
db=/varcache/minidlna

J'ai utilisé minidlna pendant un certain temps, et je me souviens d'avoir un peu galéré avec ces histoires de droits.
Je me rapelle qu'à la fin, je m'étais aperçu que le fait de passer en root avait modifié les droits sur les fichiers et répertoires (normal), mais que, si on change d'utilisateur après cela, le nouvel utilisateur ne peut pas se donner les droits (toujours normal..).
J'avais donc modifié "à la main' les droits par un

sudo chmod etc..

, et après tout allait bien.
Cela dit, j'utilise maintenant Plex Media Server, qui ajoute une fonctionalité de gestion de médiathèque, et qui est capable de transcoder à la volée les fichiers que ta box ne peut pas lire.

salut
pour avoir subit l'expérience il y a quelques jours
après une réinstalle ou je suis revenu à kubuntu 16,04 j'avais suivi le fichier fournit par la doc et cela ne fonctionnait pas je ne voyais même pas mon serveur (attention je dis pas que la doc est fausse je dis juste que cela n'a pas marché pour moi sur ma machine)
et je suis tombé sur un autre tuto sur le forum (j'ai perdu la trace)
ou il fallait modifier les droits des utilisateurs
j'ai donc rajouté le groupe minidlna aux utilisateurs
comme ça je n'ais même pas à ouvrir une session pour accéder a monserveur sur ma freebox
et modifié le fichier /etc/minidlna,conf

comme tu peux le voir j'ai laissé beaucoup de choses intact sauf
media_dir=V,/home/kubu/Downloads
pour indiquer à minidlna où chercher les fichiers vidéos
port=8200
le port 49200 ne semble pas obligatoire ?
inotify=yes
c'est pour activer la mise à jour des derniers films (recent add)

Heu, non m'ssieur c'est pas moi ! Enfin je ne crois pas avoir modifié ça !
Je vais donc m'atteler à ces quelques menues modifications.

Un ami, bien geek sur les bords, m'a parlé de ce logiciel mais le connaissant j'ai eu un peu peur de ne pas m'en sortir !
Je vais tester Minidlna quelques temps et passer sur Plex si besoin.
D'ailleurs, pour le moment, mon souci est de lire des fichiers mkv encodés en DTS HD Master ( soit le format du Blu-Ray ). Je soupçonne un problème de débit dans mes liaisons pour le faire car les films en Dolby Digital ou DTS tout cours passent tout seuls !

Plex sait il faire cela ???

Je peux voir et lire mes vidéos sur ma TV !
En revanche, pour le DTS HD Master, il y a bien un problème car la lecture s'arrête au bout de quelques secondes !!!

Je vais peut être tenter l'expérience Plex pour zapper le lecteur DLNA de ma platine Blu-Ray qui est peut être le maillon faible de la chaîne.
