Problème écran noir après le démarrage d'ubuntu Mate 16.04 LTS

Bonjour,

Suis nouveau ici et novice de chez novice en informatique.

Quelqu'un pourrait-il m'aider pour mon problème.

Quand j'ai acheté mon Acer (détails dans ma signature), j'ai préféré installer Windows 7 et ubuntu Mate 16.04 au lieu de garder le Windows 8.1.

Aussi, pendant plus d'un an d'utilisation d'Ubuntu 16.04 et de Windows 7, je n'ai jamais eu de soucis de démarrage. Depuis quelques jours, j'ai des soucis d'écran noir lors de mes démarrages.

Le menu Grub semble s'obscurcir et me laisse pas beaucoup de temps pour choisir l'OS. (Ubuntu ou Windows)

Aussi, après avoir été dans le poste de travail sous Ubuntu Mate, il est clairement indiqué que mon disque dur semble inconnu selon lui ... Ce qui m'échappe complètement vu que j'arrive malgré tout à l'utiliser même après plusieurs redémarrage ...

Auriez-vous des idées pour m'aider ? Je vous en remercie d'avance smile

Pour aider ceux qui vont chercher des pistes, il serait bon que tu donnes le retour d'un boot-info https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/boot-info.
( En aparté,  il ne va pas expliquer le problème)
et aussi un état du disque dur  avec smartcl https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/smartmontools
Tu peux combiner ces deux demandes en faisant correctement un rapport BISNEXT et non BOOTINFOSCRIPT https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/bootinfoscript

Hier soir, j'ai constaté que mon moniteur avait de sérieux soucis. C'était donc lui qui était responsable de l'écran tout noir. Je comprends malgré tout pas pourquoi, après plusieurs installations des deux systèmes d'exploitation, l'ordinateur m'a fait apparaître un écran noir après les installations ... Vraiment paradoxal comme truc. Malgré tout, j'ai toujours des soucis pour faire cohabiter les deux systèmes sur ma machine. Comme je l'ai dit plus haut, je suis novice de chez novice et c'est très pénible tant que c'est complexe. Disposant d'un disque dur d'un tera byte, comment je pourrais le configurer afin qu'il puisse reconnaître Windows Seven et Ubuntu Mate 16.04 ? Que me conseillez-vous comme partitionnement ? Comment procéder pour que ça fonctionne bien ? J'ai suivi tes conseils avisés Bougron et je te donne ici les résultats. En te remerciant smile

Ton installation est en LEGACY, Au démarrage, tu devrais avoir un écran d'accueil du grub te proposant de choisir entre ubuntu et windows  car il est bien généré.

Ubuntu est installé sur SDA7  formaté en EXT4   Mais tu as deux autres partitions aussi en EXT4 (sda3 et sda6).  A quoi les destines-tu?    pour deux autres OS libres ?

En règle générale, dans une installation en boots multiples, on  fait en sorte de
mettre les OS WINDOWS dans des partitions d'environ 50 Go et les OS libres dans des partitions d'environ  25 Go
On fait aussi une partition swap de la taille de la RAM avec un minima de 2 Go
et avec tout le reste, on fait une seule partition formatée en NTFS destinée à recevoir les données personnelles.
   => On demande aux windows de migrer leurs bibliothèques utilisateur dans cette partition.
  => On monte cette partition en automatique dans les UBUNTU en modifiant le fichier /etc/fstab et on fait pointer dessus les bibliothèques en modifiant un autre fichier.  Un exemple rapide

Merci Bougron pour le partitionnement. Il est vrai que je suis paumé. Tu me dis que tu ne comprends pas trop mon problème. Je vais essayer d'être plus clair. J'ai installé en premier Windows Seven afin qu'il n'écrase pas Linux. Ensuite, après avoir installé Windows, j'ai installé Ubuntu Mate 16.04 LTS 64 bits. Étant un ancien utilisateur de Microsoft, j'aime garder Windows. Pour cela que je tiens absolument à conserver un Windows. (habitude et nostalgie). Pour avoir découvert l'univers de Linux, je trouve ce système d'exploitation fort agréable même si il n'est pas toujours évident de l'utiliser. Pour en revenir à mon soucis ... En effet, après l'installation de Windows et de Linux, j'ai un grub au démarrage qui me propose l'un ou l'autre. Ça marche très bien deux ou trois fois et ensuite, ça bug. Pour Linux, j'arrive toujours à le démarrer mais pour Windows, il y a un écran noir taché de trucs complètement illisibles. Et il plante.
Faudrait-il paramétrer mon bios en EFI ? Comment dois-je configurer mon bios ? Comment dois-je installer Windows et Linux ? en mode EFI ou pas ? Faut-il réparer mon grub ? Mon plus grand souhait, c'est d'arriver à faire tourner les deux os sans devoir me contenter d'un écran noir bloqué lors du démarrage de Windows.

Pour le partitionnement, j'ai encore des questions smile

En Linux, on fait comment pour partitionner ? à quoi correspond l'ext3,ext4 ? Pour le boot, il faut mettre combien ?

J'ai noté que SDA7 contient UBUNTU
A quoi servent donc SDA3 et SDA6?  Si tu n'as rien prévu pour la suite, et si tu n'as rien mis dedans, elles sont à supprimer.

C'est un point qu'il faut éclaircir.   Je pense que tu souhaites continuer à l'utiliser souvent et t'en servir aussi pour accéder à tes données que tu vas créer avec ubuntu.

Je dis que ta technique est bonne car cela fonctionne mais qu'il arrive que windows ne mette pas en route correctement avec un message "illisible".
Je n'en connais pas la cause et je ne sais pas comment la rechercher.

Tu bootes en LEGACY. C'est très bien. Si tu veux booter en EFI, tu dois reformater le disque dur et tout réinstaller. Il n'est pas certain que windows7 dispose de la fonctionnalité EFI.
Le grub fonctionne puisqu'il te propose l'écran de choix des deux OS.

C'est l'application GPARTED qui gère les partitions. Elle est à installer. Elle ne sait pas traiter la partition  en cours d'utilisation. C'est pour cela qu'il faut parfois  lancer une LIVE-USB pour traiter la partition qui contient UBUNTU (SDA7),
Le format de partition conseillé est EXT2 pour une partition utilisée essentiellement en LECTURE et EXT4 pour l'écriture. Le format EXT3 est son ancêtre et fonctionne moins bien.

La partition UBUNTU (SDA7) fait  676 Go si je calcule bien.  Comme tu  vas certainement prendre la décision de ne pas mélanger les données avec les OS, cette taille est énorme. 30 Go suffisent.
Pour faire cette rectification, tu bootes en LIVE-USB (le support d'installation), Tu choisis "essayer avant d'installer, Tu lances GPARTED (qui est présent dans la clé) Tu te positionnes sur SDA7 et tu dis que la taille est de 30720 Mo,
Tu valides et tu fais exécuter l'action. Tu attends tranquillement car cela sera long.
Lorsque c'est terminé, tu te positionnes sur l'espace libéré et tu fabriques une nouvelle partition avec la totalité de l'espace.
son format sera NTFS si tu veux que windows y accède sinon, il sera EXT4. Tu y mettras une étiquette/un label MesData
Pour la suite, on verra plus tard...

Voilà c'est fait Bougron smile

J'ai tout recommencé depuis zéro. Vu que ça marchait pas en mode normal, j'ai lancé ubuntu mate 16.04 64 bits depuis une clé usb en mode UEFI. Essayer la distribution et là, j'ai tout formaté en NTFS. Ensuite, j'ai lancé l'installation de Windows Seven en UEFI. Il m'a dit que c'était impossible d'installer Windows sur une partition non GPT ! sad Du coup, retour à la case départ. Donc réinitialisation du système et lancement d'ubuntu depuis une clé usb. Depuis Gparted, j'ai effectué une table de partition GPT et tout formaté en NTFS. Reset de la machine et réinstallation de Windows Seven en mode UEFI. Partitionné en 50 gb et hop c'est parti ... L'installation s'est très bien déroulée. Reset de la machine et au tour d'Ubuntu Mate depuis la clé usb en mode UEFI. J'ai pas lancé de suite l'installation mais suis passé par essayer Ubuntu. Il m'a proposé de mettre côte à côte les deux os. Ce que j'ai fait sans chercher à tout compliquer. Il s'est bien installé jusqu'au bout. Par la suite, j'ai eu une heureuse surprise au boot du pc. J'ai vu apparaître un nouveau menu bleu me proposant la priorité sur un des os. Puis, l'écran du grub est apparu. J'ai testé Linux et Windows et tout fonctionne correctement. Je viens de finir d'avoir partitionné le disque sur lequel s'est installé Ubuntu. Il était bien trop volumineux. Je l'utiliserai pour y mettre mes données. Je l'ai formaté en NTFS afin de pouvoir y accéder aussi bien par Windows qu'Ubuntu. Je tiens encore à te remercier pour tes précieux conseils qui m'ont permis d'en arriver à bout smile 4 jours à tourner en rond, à devenir fou big_smile

Normalement, je ne devrais plus avoir de soucis. Tout semble fonctionner correctement smile

Peux-tu faire un boot-info afin de prévoir la suite qui est l'automatisation du montage de la partition  de données personnelles

Il est en contradiction avec ce que tu dis.      => Ce n'est pas de l'EFI.
Je te prie de le recommencer et de poster dans cette discussion, l'URL qui sera générée.   Il n'y a rien de secret dans un boot-info.

Donc pour la suite, on va faire par petit morceaux.
1) Donnes le retour de

sudo blkid

==> cette commande donne la liste des partitions avec des noms uniques. Nous avons besoin de connaître le N° unique afin d'avoir un montage de la partition à la mise en route de ubuntu afin qqu'elle soit considérée comme étant partie prenante de l'OS.
2) Fabriques le futur point de montage de la partition de partage des données.

sudo mkdir /DATA
sudo chown  $USER:$USER /DATA
ls -ls / | grep DATA

Je te donnerais la suite...
Pour ce point de montage, il y a trois écoles, comme tu es probablement seul sur la machine, je prends la codif la plus simple.
Sinon, il faudrait prendre la codif spécifique à chaque utilisateur et cela serait alors
sudo mkdir /home/mac/DATA
Mais comme tu as décidé de crypter ta partition /home, tes données personnelles seraient alors totalement illisibles sous WINDOWS.
(Tu pourras consulter le forum pour avoir un avis lorsqu'on utilise cette fonctionnalité)
Il y aurait un palliatif
mkdir   /mnt/mac
mkdir   /mnt/mac/DATA

Je pense que c'est SDA6 qui est la partition prévue pour les données. Elle n'a pas d'étiquette/label   'MesData'
On va faire un montage automatique. Donc, on change les règles du jeu de l'arrêt windows:
Soit tu dếactives l'hibernation de windows avec la commande "powercfg  -h off"
Soit tu stoppes windows uniquement avec la commande "REDEMARER". et tu notes que si tu stoppes windows par la commande "ARRETER" c'est ubuntu qui ne saura plus démarrer. Tu devras alors relancer windows pour le stopper  par "REDEMARRER".

1) Tu vas ajouter les lignes suivantes à la fin du fichier /etc/fstab afin que ubuntu mette en route avec cette partition présente

UUID=229605DE4214C871     /DATA   ntfs  defaults,umask=007,uid=1000,gid=46,windows_names,errors=remount-ro  0 0 
/DATA/DOC       /home/mac/Documents            none bind
/DATA/IMG       /home/mac/Images               none bind
/DATA/ISO       /home/mac/Téléchargements      none bind
/DATA/MUSIC  /home/mac/Musique      none bind 
/DATA/VIDEO  /home/mac/Vidéos       none  bind 

Tu peux remplacer les mots  DOC   IMG    ISO    MUSIC   VIDEO   parce ce que tu veux à condition que cela ne soit pas des caractères spéciaux ni des caractères accentués ni  des espaces.
la commande bind va informer que lorsque tu va décider d'écrire dans /home/mac/Téléchargement, cela aura lieu dans /DATA/ISO

Tu as vu que /DATA a été créé dans la partition /
Maintenant il faut créer les cinq répertoires. Mais pas dans la partition /    Cela doit se faire dans la partition SDB6. Pour cela il est nécessaire de la monter sur le point de montage prévu.

2) Tu vas démonter la  partition....  car  Il est possible qu'elle soit montée à un autre endroit.
Si  elle n'est pas montée , on aura l'erreur   "not mounted".    Mais cette erreur est le résultat qu'on veut obtenir. Donc ce n'est pas gênant.

sudo    umount  -v   /dev/sda6

3) Tu vas monter la partition.   Il ne doit pas y avoir d'erreur lors du montage.  En effet, s'il y a une erreur, les actions suivantes auront lieu dans la partition /

sudo mount  -v   /dev/sda6   /DATA

4) Tu vas créer les cinq répertoires qui ont été définis dans le fichier /etc/fstab. Ils seront créées dans la partition SDA6.

mkdir   /DATA/DOC
mkdir   /DATA/IMG
mkdir   /DATA/ISO
mkdir  /DATA/MUSIC
mkdir /DATA/VIDEO

5) Tu vas vérifier que c'est bien créé. On ne prend jamais assez de précaution.

ls   -ls  /DATA   ==> tu dois voir les 5 répertoires.
sudo   umount  /dev/sda6
ls   -ls  /DATA   ==> tu ne dois plus voir les 5 répertoires.

6) Tu vas booter pour  faire activer le "bindage" pour l'utilisateur.
   C'est cette action la plus risquée,    si on a commis une erreur dans la première ligne , le boote se plante
   Si on s'est trompé dans l'orthographe des noms des cinq lignes suivantes,   les fichiers continueront à se stocker dans /home.

7) Tu pourras alors vérifier que cela fonctionne à partir des "raccourcis" de ton bureau   en créant quelques fichiers.
    Il faut bien vérifier que cela fonctionne lorsqu'on écrit via le /home

8) Puis en bootant sous windows pour voir qu'ils sont disponibles dans le D:?
         Il faut bien vérifier que windows peut accèder aux fichiers créées par l'utilisateur ubuntu
   et y créer quelques autres fichiers. Y transférer toutes tes librairies windows ....   Je ne sais pas te guider pour windows7. Mais c'est probablement  comme décrit au paragraphe C de cette discussion. https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.p … #p20646421
    Il faut bien virer tes fichiers de la partition windows pour les rendre disponibles à ubuntu.

9) Puis booter sous ubuntu pour voir  que les fichiers windows  sont bien disponibles sous ubuntu

J'ai un soucis à l'ouverture d'Ubuntu. Il ouvre une boîte de dialogue et à l'intérieur de celle-ci, il est écrit : Problème de logiciels.

Ce n'est pas la première fois qu'il m'avertit. Il n'y a aucun détail. Qu'en penses-tu ? Je trouve important de te le signaler avant de poursuivre quoi que ce soit d'autre.

C'est assez fréquent ce problème.     Il  te propose probablement de signaler une erreur de fonctionnement du logiciel.....Ce n'est pas  grave.

Au fait penses à finaliser l'installation

sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade

C'est fait smile hier, à l' installation d' Ubuntu et de Windows, j'ai créé la partition de 600 giga à l'aide de Gparted et je l'ai formatée en NTFS sous Windows. J'ai mis le label Data et Windows lui a affecté la lettre D.

Est-ce qu'il n'y a aucun soucis pour la suite ? Je peux malgré suivre tes instructions concernant le montage ?

Ce n'est pas un problème.
Je ne doutais bien que c'était SDA6   mais je pensais que toute la création avait été faite par GPARTED .   Sous windows tu as mis un nom à la partition. Tu peux continuer car le nom de l'étiquette c'est juste pour mieux connaître.

Par exemple on aurait eu comme réponse

sudo gedit /etc/fstab 

il m'a répondu ça :
