Quelle version installer sur un msi ms-1683 Notebook PC ? [Résolu]
Bonjour à toutes et à tous,
je viens d'installer Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS sur un vieil ordi qu'on m'a donné. J'ai complètement reformaté le système.
Mais voilà, il plante : au début alors qu'il était en train de mettre à jour des logiciels (j'ai fait une extinction forcée puis c'est reparti), puis lorsque j'ai mis à jour des pilotes --> là il n'arrivait plus à redémarrer, il tournait en boucle entre écran noir et écran avec le logo MSI et le rappel des touches (F11 etc).
Je suis donc en train de réinstaller à partir de la clé, mais ça prend beaucoup de temps...beaucoup trop il me semble par rapport à la première fois.
Quelqu'un pourrait-il m'aider ?
Je n'avais pas dans l'idée d'y passer des plombes, surtout que ça a marché vite la première fois...déception.
Peut-être la version est-elle trop lourde pour cet ordi ? Pas stable ? ...

Salut !
déjà, avant d'installer, le support permet de tester, en mode live. Ceci permet de voir le comportement du PC, la reconnaissance des périphériques, ect...
CPU : Intel Core 2 Duo , oubli ubuntu, unity sera trop lourd.
En fonction de la quantité de RAM ; en dessous de 2 gb, je conseille lubuntu 16.0.1 en 32 bits.
à partir de 2 gb (mais 3gb c'est mieux), je conseille xubuntu 16.04.1 en 64 bits.
dans tous les cas, lubuntu sera plus véloce que xubuntu (moins beau mais la logithèque est la même que ubuntu)
et je répète : teste avant d'installer.

Bonjour Tarkan99,
merci beaucoup pour ta réponse super rapide.
Je l'avais testé en mode live avant, ça avait l'air de marcher mais j'ai peut-être pas essayé assez longtemps.
Quant aux périphériques, l'ordi avait déjà des soucis de périphériques : le wifi ne marche pas, un des haut-parleur ne fonctionne pas, et lorsqu'on met un jack la sortie son ne fonctionne pas.
Comment sais-tu pour CPU Intel Core 2 Duo ? J'ai cherché ce genre d'info avant d'installer pour savoir quel version mettre, mais je ne trouvais pas.
Et pour la quantité de RAM ? (j'ai perdu l'habitude des pc utilisant un mac depuis des années...aïe, je vais me faire taper dessus... ;-) ).
Sachant que là il démarre mais une fois rentrée mon mdp, je rete sur une page violette...le système plante quoi. Est-ce qu'il y a un moyen d'avoir toute les infos nécessaire (pour le choix de la version ubuntu) en mode recovery ou bios...ou est-ce que j'installe direct une autre version et voit après les capacités de la machine, au risque de devoir réinstaller encore une autre version ?

la RAM : la quantité est visible depuis le BIOS.
Sachant que là il démarre mais une fois rentrée mon mdp, je rete sur une page violette
avec ubuntu ? franchement, passe à autre chose.
je te conseille de tester une version live de xubuntu 16.04.1 32 bits. ça coute le temps de téléchargement et de création de la live usb.
démarre en test, on verra ensuite les capacités de la machine.

Mais rapidement pour te faire un une idée du pourquoi de la lenteur que tu constates : Ubuntu 16.04 LTS consomme environ autant de ressources matérielles que Windows 10. Donc normal que ça foire sur un vieux PC

alors là c'est la loose, car ayant formaté le dd du pc, je n'ai plus de system windows (mon autre ordi étant un mac), et du coup je n'ai plus le logiciel linux live creator pour faire une clé d'installation. Comme je fais du coup ?

au vu des caractéristiques (3 go de RAM), je conseille xubuntu 16.04.1 en 64 bits.
tu peux t'en sortir avec la clé que tu as, si tu as une 2° clé usb à dispo.
je m'explique : tu bootes en live session sur la clé actuelle (qui fonctionne si j'ai bien compris).
tu télécharges l'iso et tu réalises la clé usb live sur une autre clé (tu peux installer des logiciels sur une session live).

l'autre solution serait d'arriver à faire fonctionner ubuntu qui est actuellement installé sur la machine.
A toi de voir vers quelle solution tu souhaites aller.

Bon,
ça beug de plus en plus...
En live session il me dit qu'il y a 0 octet de libre, je ne peux pas aller sur firefox (ça dit que ça marche pas), et j'ai mis le .exe de livre creator sur lz 2ème clé mais je ne peux pas l'installer.
Donc là j'essaie de réinstaller ubuntu à partir de la clé, mais cette fois-ci, pour la première fois il me met :

et quand je tape help il met :

Si tu as un Mac de dispo c'est formidable
Tu as le logiciel etcher dispo sur tous les systèmes dont Mac pour créer des clés USB bootables : https://etcher.io/
Ainsi, tu vas pouvoir re-créer une clé bootable Xubuntu 16.04 64 bits depuis celui-ci !

Ah super Caribou, merci !
Donc je suis en train de faire la clé avec xubuntu 16.4 64 bits comme m'a conseillé aussi Tarkan99.
Mais pour mon pc qui est bloqué en ms-dos noir et blanc avec ce que j'ai décrit je fais quoi ? J'ignore et je démarre à partir de cette nouvelle clé en essayant d'abord, ou il faut que je répare des trucs qui seraient abîmés ?

Tu as installé Ubuntu sur ton PC, qui est trop gourmand pour celui-ci. Ne t'embête plus avec cette installation foireuse. Rien à garder ni à réparer
- Tu crée ta clé Xubuntu avec ton mac
- Tu testes en session live sur ton vieux PC (essai sans installer)
- Si c'est concluant, tu installes en écrasant l'ancienne installation.

Que faut-il que je teste spécifiquement ? Car avec Ubuntu hier ça marchait aussi en mode live, même si qques beug par moments.
La compatibilité matérielle en général : Luminosité de l'écran, Internet, Wi-fi, touchpad...
Si le live fonctionne, tu peux lancer l'installation
Et si ça re-déconne, on approfondira l'étude du matériel.

Le wifi ne marchait pas avant avec windows donc je ne prend pas ça en compte. Faudra voir après si on peut trouver une solution, mais peut-être que tout simplement il n'y a pas la fonctionnalité.
Internet, touchpad, luminosité, copier sur dd ext, copier sur bureau...tout ça fonctionne. Allez, je lance.
Il me propose :
soit de supprimer Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS et de réinstaller
soit d'effacer le disque et installer xubuntu
(soit d'installer Xubun à côté de Ubuntu mais ça non).
Je choisis quoi ?

j'avais conseillé xubuntu 16.04.1 et tu as choisi xubuntu 16.04.2
pas très grave, ta machine devrait supporter.
le disque est sain.
après l'installation, si le démarrage est ok, faudra voir si un pilote nvidia est proposé (dans "logiciels et mises à jour", onglet "pilotes additionnels"
xubuntu 22.04.1 sur machine assemblée base de Core i5 9400

+1, et si jamais ça plante et donne sur un écran noir après l'installation, il y a la possibilité d'installer le paquet nvidia-common depuis la console. Ça m'a sauvé ce week-end

Ah mince, désolée, j'ai pas fait gaffe que c'était la version 2.
Tout a bien fonctionné, mais en allant dans "logiciels & mise à jour", onglet "pilotes additionnels", il y a eu une fenêtre d'erreur disant qu'ubuntu avait rencontré un problème interne. Je n'ai pas pu copier/coller les infos, mais j'ai fait envoyer.
A la deuxième tentative, ça m'affiche les pilotes; j'ai :
* NVIDIA corporation MCP79 (GEForce 8200M G)
Il me propose :
- utilisation nVIDIA binary driver ...(propriétaire testé)
- utilisation NVIDIA legacy binary driver ... (propriétaire)
- utilisation de X.org X Server ... (libre)
* Inconnu:Inconnu
Ce périphérique ne fonctionne pas.
Il me propose:
- utilisation de Processor microcode firware for Intel CPUs depuis intel-microcode (propriétaire)
- ne pas utiliser le périphérique
Alors que fais-je ? (et si vous pouvez m'expliquer à quoi ça correspond en même temps, que je comprenne).

Pour les màj il en propose 13, j'hésite à les installer car tout à l'heure sous Ubuntu, il beuguait quand je voulais les installer.
- maj système d'exploitation
- gestionnaire fichiers
- gestionnaire màj
- image magick (2 fois...j'sais pas pourquoi)
- libre office
...d'autres libres office
- logiciels
- logiciels et màj
- firefox
- pidgin
Je sais pas si j'installe tout ça ?
