[RESOLU] Impossible de régler la luminosité sur portable Asus T101

Bonjour à tous !

Je souhaite gagner en autonomie sur mon portable, qui me sert à prendre les cours et qui reste donc allumé une bonne partie de la journée.
Quand je l'ai acheté, il avait onze heures d'autonomie. Après le passage sur Ubuntu, il n'en avait plus que cinq environ (j'ai appris que certaines caractéristiques spécifiques à Windows augmentaient l'autonomie et disparaissaient sur Ubuntu).
Je suis parvenu à remonter jusqu'à huit heures d'autonomie en installant "tlp-stat" et "powertop".
Mais j'aimerais quand même pouvoir en gagner encore un peu plus en diminuant la luminosité de l'écran. Hélas, chose impossible, j'ai beau changer la luminosité (que ce soit avec l'interface par défaut, ou la petite icône en forme de soleil que j'ai installée), ça n'a aucun effet.
En connaîtriez-vous la raison ?

Les fichiers de démarrage de [L'OS actuellement utilisé - Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS] sont loin du début du disque. Votre BIOS pourrait ne pas les détecter. Vous voudrez peut-être re-essayer après avoir créé une partition /boot (EXT4, >200MB, en début de disque). Cela peut être réalisé via des outils tels que gParted. Puis sélectionnez cette partition via l'option [Partition /boot séparée :] de [Boot-Repair]. (http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/partition_boot)

Bonjour,
à quel endroit dans grub, dois-je rajouter cette ligne ?
En outre, comment l'enregistrer ? Le fichier grub est apparemment en lecture seule.

Avec gedit ou un autre éditeur (ça dépend de la version d'*ubuntu) :

sudo gedit /etc/default/grub

à la ligne GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT :

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash acpi_backlight=vendor"

enregistrer et fermer gedit.
Puis pour mettre à jour grub :

sudo update-grub

puis reboot.

Malheureusement, ça ne change rien, j'ai pourtant bien ajouté la ligne, enregistré le fichier et mis à jour le grub.

Tout n'est pas perdu alors !
Tu peux régler la luminosité via /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness (valeur courante du niveau).
Pour voir la valeur max :

cat /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/max_brightness

Si tu veux régler à x%, il suffit de mettre x% de la valeur max. Chez moi le max vaut 937. Pour être à 50% (valeur entière) :

echo 468 | sudo tee /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness

Faut passer par sudo pour modifier...
Si ça fonctionne, on peut faire un script pour simplifier le réglage.

La valeur max est 100.

J'ai donc mis 20, juste pour tester, histoire de bien voir la différence.
Mais il se contente de me retourner le chiffre 20, et la luminosité de l'écran ne semble pas être modifiée.

Je vois bien que cet ordi est retors. ^^ Mais 9h d'autonomie c'est déjà pas mal.
