[RESOLU] Plantages à répétition LibreOffice Writer 5.3

Bonjour à chacune et chacun,

Je suis en pleine rédaction d'un livre sous libreoffice writer  5.3.4.2 .
Après avoir solutionné les problèmes de mémoire dus aux images, puis fragmenté mon document avec doc. maître et sous-document (Merci le forum smile), la nouveauté d'aujourd'hui est le plantage à répétition de libreoffice writer qui me plante carrément Ubuntu... et je suis obligé d'éteindre mon ordi et de le rallumer... (alors que tout marchait bien hier...).

Auriez-vous une idée ?

Effectivement, j'ai l'impression que j'ai téléchargé une version trop récente de LibreOffice Writer...

Bon, j'attends la réponse de Caribou 22 pour voir si je peux attendre avant de rétrograder.

J'ai partiellement résolu le problème en enregistrant systématiquement chaque sous-document dès que je fais la moindre manip. Si j'attends trop avant de sauvegarder ça bug...

Merci pour ta réponse (pour les ppa, je ne sais pas trop ce qu'il faut faire en fait : faut-il que je les installe ou pas...)

Euh, là tu réponds "non mais oui"
D'après mon expérience, la bonne réponse est non, après l'ajout du PPA il suffit de chercher les mises à jour puis de les faire.

Je te conseillais de desinstaller avant car ta version etait superieur a celle des depots, ce qui peut impliquer des fichiers de configurations illisible par la version stable.

+1 : mieux vaut se débarasser de librairies de toutes façons pas spécifiques.
...si j'ai bien pigé c'est installé à partir d'un .deb, le mieux est de le désinstaller avec gdebi :

sudo apt install gdebi

Puis clic droit sur le .deb "ouvrir avec" ...gdebi, bien sûr !
..Et désinstaller

Bon, sinon, j'ai essayé d'utiliser Gdebi comme le recommandait nam pour installer mon paquet "LibreOffice_5.3.5.2_Linux_x86-64_deb", en faisant un clic droit dessus...

Voilà ce que ça me renvoie (en ligne de commande quand je réessaye ainsi) :

Et enfin lol je m'aperçois qu'après désinstallation complète de libreoffice avec

sudo apt-get remove --purge libreoffice*

, je parviens encore à lire mes fichiers avec une version visiblement toujours présente sur mon ordi mais que je croyais avoir désinstallée :  Version: 5.3.4.2 Build ID: libreoffice-5.3.4.2-snap1  !!!!
Comment l'enlever alors qu'elle n'apparaît plus dans les paquets ?!

BON, je viens de supprimer complètement la logithèque d'Ubuntu (après m'être aperçu que libreoffice était présent dedans !) via synaptic (supprimé Ubuntu software center). Visiblement, le conflit venait de là !

J'ai tout réinstallé en lignes de commande

cd /home/christophe/LibreOffice_5.3.5.2_Linux_x86-64_deb/DEBS
sudo dpkg -i `find . -type f -name '*.deb'`
cd /home/christophe/LibreOffice_5.3.5.2_Linux_x86-64_deb_langpack_fr
sudo dpkg -i `find . -type f -name '*.deb'`

... et ça marche : Libreoffice se lance bien et fonctionne sans plantages.

Bon je réouvre cette discussion car au final, bien que libreoffice 5.3 soit à jour, sans version parasite derrière, et que je n'ai pas fait de bidouilles... un problème de fond persiste : Libreoffice writer plante de temps en temps, et de façon totalement imprévisible (j'ai pas mal bougé le swap pour voir s'il s'agissait d'un pb mémoire puis réinstallé ubuntu plusieurs fois... rien n'y a fait).

J'ai vraiment besoin de lumière - là.

As-tu essayé de lancer LibreOffice en ligne de commande pour voir s'il y a un message dans le terminal lors d'un plantage ?
Qu'est-ce que ça donne avec un profil LibreOffice neuf (~/.config/libreoffice) ?
Est-ce que tu ajoutes des extensions ?
Est-ce que tu rédiges avec le suivi des modifications activé ?

Je n'y avais jamais pensé. Voici ce que ça donne au bout de quelques manips sur la police cursive, et à chaque clic

Pas d'extensions, mais de nombreuses polices ajoutées dans les Fonts et que libreoffice reconnaît bien.

Est-ce que tu rédiges avec le suivi des modifications activé ?

Non, mais je peux essayer pour voir.

Je continue à  manipuler dans l'après-midi pour voir.

Suivi des modifications : si tu ne l'utilises pas, ça ne peut pas résoudre le problème de te mettre à l'utiliser car c'est une fonction qui peut consommer beaucoup de ressources.

J'ai ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
Ce matin, j'ai osé demander à libreoffice de décaler une zone texte dans l'en-tête du document... Résultat : il a planté. Ne veut-il pas qu'on bidouille les documents au-delà des zones pré-définies ? Serait-il susceptible ? lol
Le rapport de plantage a été envoyé à Ubuntu.
Sinon voilà ce que j'avais dès l'ouverture de Libreofficewriter :

Pourtant, moi j'aime bien faire dépasser.... d'autant plus quand les documents doivent être ensuite intégrés dans un document maître.

Bien que j'aie dit à Nam, la dernière fois, que je ne faisais plus de bidouilles, ce n'est pas tout à fait exact. En me basant sur les forums d'Ubuntu, j'ai installé zram et j'ai aussi suivi bon nombre des allègements proposés ici.
J'ai en effet besoin de travailler avec 4 ou 5 fenêtres ouvertes à la fois et de pouvoir surfer le plus rapidement possible (ouverture et fermeture des fenêtres).
