Asus GL552VW-DM949D affichage par le chipset @intel HD Graphics

Bonjour,

j'ai demandé de l'aide pour installer une version de ubuntu en 14.04 dans cette discution https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=2007421

Mon ordi ici

Il m'était impossible de passer sur la carte graphique nvidia gtx 960m, qui n'est pas reconnu, et lors de l'installation du driver j'avais une boucle de redirection sur la page d'identification.

J'ai demandé comment passer par le chipset et malbo m'a donné cette commande:

sudo apt-get install --install-recommends linux-generic-lts-xenial xserver-xorg-core-lts-xenial xserver-xorg-lts-xenial xserver-xorg-video-all-lts-xenial xserver-xorg-input-all-lts-xenial libwayland-egl1-mesa-lts-xenial

Le résultat est que l'affichage est très bien, sauf que depuis j'ai le ventillo qui tourne à fond sans arrêter. Voilà pourquoi j'ouvre une nouvelle discution ici. J'ai déjà regardé des sujets avec plus ou moins le même problème mais j'aimerais en débattre avec des connaisseurs plutôt que de faire n'importe quoi avec un vieux tuto (merci malbo pour ce conseil je le ferait plus).

Pour ceux qui se posent la question pourquoi tu passe pas par une 16.04, j'ai besoin de travailler sous php5 et avec la 16.04 c'est php7 et je ne suis pas parvenu à faire tourner un serveur dessus.

Au lecteur qui passe : sur ma suggestion, Mallarky a refait son installation de Ubuntu 14.04 en version de base (sans le HWE stack de Xenial) et le pb de ventilateur est résolu : voir ce post et suivants. Oui mais il a un affichage pourri (comme il l'explique ici) et il conviendrait d'améliorer la gestion de l'affichage. Un conseil à donner à Mallarky ?

Oui, pour le modifier, il faut déjà être connecté au forum. Ensuite, il faut aller sur le premier post de la discussion en cliquer sur "Modifier" qui est écrit en rouge en bas à droite.
