Installation réussie de Ubuntu Mate 16.04 sur Lenovo 110S

Bonjour,

J'ai acheté sur Amazon.fr le portable suivant  Lenovo Ideapad 110S-11IBR 11,6'' Blanc (Intel Celeron, 4 Go de RAM, SSD 32 Go, Intel HD Graphics, Windows 10).

au prix de 189,99 euros.
J'ai installé sans problème Ubuntu Mate 16.04 à partir d'une clé USB.
Après avoir lu différentes discussions sur ce forum et dans d'autres, j'ai fait quelques modifications dans le bios puis une installation traditionnelle de Mate (option : effacer le disque dur et installer Ubuntu).
Auparavant j'avais tenté une installation avec option "Installer Ubuntu à coté de Windows..."  mais il n'y avait pas assez de place sur le SSD et l'installation n'a pas abouti.
Tout fonctionne correctement  et rapidement.
J'ai rajouté une carte mémoire (Samsung 64 Go Carte mémoire EVO Plus Micro SD Classe 10 avec adaptateur SD http://amzn.eu/8iqzNXo) de 64 GO pour 28,32 euros.

Je ne peux que conseiller cette association Ubuntu Mate 16.04 sur Lenovo 110S.

Merci pour ces infos.
Je te prie de faire un Boot-Info depuis une session de ton Ubuntu installé et de donner l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse. Cela donnera un exemple pour ceux qui ont ce modèle ou un modèle proche.
C'est bien intéressant que tu aies réussi à faire l'installation en mode non-EFI parce qu'on sait qu'il est possible d'installer en mode EFI dans ce modèle (voir ligne "Lenovo Ideapad 110S-11IBR" dans la Liste des portables « Lenovo » ) mais la solution que tu as adoptée - install en mode non-EFI - me parait préférable dans ce cas particulier (Windows viré, taille réduite du SSD)

@Bougron : tu vas pouvoir mettre à jour ta signature pour la ligne concernant Bisnext puisque la doc Bisnext n'existe plus. C'est la misère.
EDIT : je viens de constater que même le fil de discussion "[bisnext] Informations utiles matériel et système" créé par Laurent85 dans la rubrique "Trucs, astuces et scripts utiles" a disparu du forum. C'est la purge. Cependant, Laurent85 fait toujours partie de la liste des utilisateurs du forum. Il n'a pas été coulé dans le béton.

C'est vraiment intéressant que tu donnes le réglage actuel de ton système UEFI. A mon avis, le réglage du paramètre "Boot Mode" sur "Legacy Support" n'a aucun intérêt dans ton installation actuelle puisque tu as une installation en mode EFI. Tu pourrais remettre "Boot Mode" sur "UEFI", ce serait plus logique mais tu fais comme tu veux...

Effectivement, ses messages n'ont pas encore été supprimés, Mais il est maintenant interdit de connexion au forum.
Ils ont certainement   fait la commande

Comme conseillé, j'ai mis Boot Mode sur UEFI et pas problème depuis.

D'autre part, avec ma version de Mate, je peux être en wifi et utiliser le bluetooth en même temps. (Certains commentaires anciens signalaient un problème)

Bonjour,
J'ai acheté un lenovo Ideapad 110S afin de le passer sous ubuntu.
J'ai donc démarré un live-usb (j'ai dû créé la clé avec Rufus car les clés que j'avais créées soit avec Yumi soit avec Etcher n'étaient pas reconnues sur cet ordinateur, elles m'avaient pourtant servi à installer LUbuntu sur les ordis de ma salle de cours)

Problème : le clavier et le trackpad ne sont pas reconnus, en revanche si je connecte un clavier/souris en usb cela fonctionne.

Etant totalement novice sous Linux, je bloque... Quelqu'un pourrait-il m'aider ?

Mon problème a évolué depuis ce post, le problème de clé bootable était dû au port sur lequel je branchais la clé.
La dernière version d'Ubuntu reconnait bien mon clavier/trackpad.
J'ai en revanche un gros problème puisque je ne peux plus démarrer mon ordi suite à l'installation d'Ubuntu.
