[Résolu] pb driver carte NVIDIA GT 720 sous Ubuntu studio 16.04 LTS
Bonjour tout le monde
très satisfait de ma Ubuntu studio 16.04 LTS je rencontre un vrai souci: avec la gestion des cartes graphiques. Pour l'internet la bureautique la MAO c’est parfait mais j'ai un souci net avec un driver pour la carte NVIDIA
possédant une NVIDIA GT 720 qui fonctionne très bien et que j'utilise avec lightworks fusion9 et resolve 14 je constate qu'il y a comme une sorte de conflit au démarrage qui se manifeste ainsi
- temps très long pour arriver au login
- l'OS mouline comme s'il "hésitait" entre les divers gestionnaires de cartes
- le logo est comme découpé au lancement (si je peux je mets une photo prise avec mon téléphone)
- driver Nvidia 375.66
- liste des drivers dispos:

Au final ça fonctionne mais le temps de chargement est TRÈS long alors que mon pc est un hp prodesk avec 2 disques de 1TO 8 Go ram coreI5 : ce n’est pas normal.
Si ce souci pouvait être réglé je switcherais définitivement sous Linux, abandonnant win10 et même mac os (désaccord avec la "nouvelle" ligne directrice de cook). Donc c'est important pour moi mais il faut que ce soit parfait .

NB je suis navré du caractère très général de mon post mais je suis incapable de donner un nom plus précis a ce souci. par contre il y a un an car j'avais déjà testé Ubuntu studio, je n'avais pas ce problème disposant pourtant de la même carte.

Pour tenter d'améliorer, as-tu bien activé le driver propriétaire et déactivé le driver de ubuntu en modifiant la 11eme ligne du fichier /etc/default/grub pour qu'elle devienne
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash modprobe.blacklist=nouveau "
puis prise en en charge via la commande
sudo update-grub
Utiliser REFIND au lieu du GRUB https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/refind . Aidez à vous faire dépanner en suivant le guide et en utilisant les outils de diagnostic J'ai perdu ma gomme. Désolé pour les fautes d'orthographes non corrigées.

par contre ce brave ubuntu rame toujours au démarrage ; ma foi

peut être que la solution finale sera trouvée c'est bizarre je n'avais pas eu cela il y a 1 an

Salut,
Essayez la commande :
systemd-analyze blame
...qui retourne la liste des services lancés au démarrage par ordre décroissant de temps requis pour les lancer: apparaît en tête de liste les services les plus lents à démarrer.
Votre problème ne sera pas résolu, mais ça vous donnera peut-être une piste à exploiter.

euh je vois pas trop l’intérêt des drivers proprio pour une gt720, nouveau la supporte très bien
la ligne modprobe modprobe.blacklist=nouveau ne sert a rien
le driver nouveau est automatiquement blacklisté quand le pilote proprio est installé
perso je ferai sans le driver proprio, juste mettre a jour mesa via le ppa padoka

c'est ce que je fais sur un pc avec une gt710
edit: le logo est découpé, car le pilote proprio n'a pas de drm inclus au noyau (merci nvidia:/ ), tu n'as pas ce soucis avec le driver libre

Alors en fait sans le pilote nvidia, pas de Da vinci resolve donc je l'ai réinstallé. En fait à part le logo coupé qui est disgracieux mais nullement grave, rien ne change. La lenteur au démarrage est sans doute due à autre chose (dual boot win10 Linux avec NTFS Config pour partage HD DONNEES entre win et linux). sda5 est le /
SDA est divisé en 2 : une partie pour win10 une autre pour linux
SDB est 100% données en NTFS; utilisé par les 2 OS c'est peut être la source du souci finalement et non un pb de carte NVIDIA . Je ne sais pas encore.
Je switche progressivement sur 100% Linux (donc au final le HD de Données ne sera plus en NTFS), mais quand tout sera ok je bascule (on ne migre pas une machine en mode fast food pour revenir à Win10 en urgence 24H après ! ) . Pour l’heure, franchement, a part cette lenteur (nette et un peu pénible) au boot et quelques soucis à régler ( imprimante scan wifi brother en mode scan encore non fonctionnel, la fonction print est ok ) tout est parfait ! Remplace à 100% un mac ! mais pour 1/3 du prix ! et sans la fermeture de plus en plus épouvantable by cupertino.

Pour la lenteur de démarrage, peux-tu donner le retour de
dmesg | tail -750
Cela ne permettra peut-être pas de voir le problème mais au moins de voir qu'il n'y a pas de problème avec le NTFS

ah mince. bizarre car je n'ai pas changé de hardware depuis des mois (2 ans meme) et je n'ai jamais eu ce souci avant
j'en profite pour enlever la clé USB Bluetooth qui semble ralentir le processus aussi et qui ne me sert presque jamais
pour l'internet je peux éventuellement passer en CPL
c'est un pc fixe avec une clé USB Bluetooth je l'ai enlevée le service Bluetooth ne se lance plus
je ne suis pas sur d"avoir gagné du temps au boot c’est curieux comme problème
la carte wifi est PCI par contre.

as tu des périphérique usb exotique ?
essaie de démarrer avec un disque dur en moins et juste avec clavier/souris branché
ton bios est a jour ?
autre chose, ton gpu inclus dans le processeur intel est actif ?
regarde dans le bios si tu peux le désactiver

merci pour cette aide
en fait j'ai fait simple j'ai formaté réinstallé la partie Ubuntu (apres avoir utilisé os uninstaller et gparted) et j'ai reboot à chaque étape et constaté ce qui se passait:
- première installe boot normal et rapide
- installe avec mises à jour idem
- application de ntfs-config aucun souci
et je me suis arrêté la
vraisemblablement c’est bien l’installe du pilote officiel NVIDIA qui plante tout
Je ne suis pas du genre maniaque: si je parle de lenteur du boot c'est que c'est vraiment TRÈS pénible, le pc mouline tellement que j’aurais le temps de me faire un café. Inutilisable au quotidien. surtout que le pc est propre, nickel, aucun souci. Là sans l'installe du driver propriétaire tout est absolument NORMAL. Alors au final ça fonctionne mais si à chaque boot je dois attendre 5 min ce n’est pas possible. Donc je vais voir si je peux utiliser les softs vidéo sous driver libre.

Quels sont les libellés des pilotes propriètaires proposés?
Car actuellement tu utilises le pilote libre fourni par ubuntu qui s'appelle "nouveau"!
