Problème ubuntu 17.10 et dell XPS 15 9060

Bonjour,

Je viens de faire une installation en single boot de Ubuntu 17.10 sur un dell XPS 15 9060 (qui avait Windows 10 d'installé par défaut).

Tout d'abord, j'ai du ajouter acpi=off dans le Grub sinon impossible de lancer l'installation.

Ensuite l'installation s'est très bien déroulée.

Mais je constate 2 soucis :
- Impossible d'éteindre ou de redémarrer le pc, l'écran reste bloqué avec un curseur sur fond noir (obligé de forcer sur le bouton power). Apparemment un problème avec la carte graphique (Geforce GTX 1050)
- le wifi a tendance à décrocher de temps en temps

J'ai installé les drivers Nvidia nvidia-384, mais le problème pour éteindre/redémarrer persiste, obligé de forcer (suite à cela, il arrive que Ubuntu plante au démarrage).
La seule manière que j'ai trouvé pour contourner le souci de pouvoir éteindre/redémarrer a été de switcher sur Intel au lieu de Nvidia via la commande sudo prime-select intel
Mais du coup, le pc n'utilise pas la puissance de la carte graphique.

Y a t il d'autres personnes avec des cas similaires ?
Comment régler proprement ce problème pour éteindre / redémarrer sans plantage ?

Avais-vous une idée pour stabiliser le wifi ?

Depuis une session de ton Ubuntu installé, je te prie de faire un Boot-Info en suivant les indications du paragraphe 1.1 Cas où au moins un ubuntu installé sur disque est opérationnel. Tu donneras l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse.

Je craignais que tu aies des paramètres du noyau qui foutent le binz mais ce n'est pas le cas comme on peut voir dans cet extrait (il n'y que les paramètres classiques) :

Je ne sais pas quoi te proposer pour éviter ton problème de plantage lors de la phase d'arrêt ou de redémarrage. Cependant, je pense comme toi que c'est un problème graphique.

Je ne comprends pas pourquoi y a  Windows Boot Manager.

Parce que les entrées du menu du système UEFI ne s'effacent pas toutes seules. Même si tu vires Windows, son entrée reste dans le menu. Je te conseille de ne rien changer et de traiter cette bizarrerie par le mépris.

Ok  merci pour ce conseil, je ne vais pas m'aventurer sur ce terrain.

J'ai vu sur d'autres tickets, tu conseilles d'installer Ubuntu en mode Legacy or moi je l'ai fait en EFI.

Est ce que ça peut changer quelque chose à mon problème d'arrêt / redémarrage ?

Pour le 2ème point je ne comprends pas ce qui est proposé.

Je pense sincèrement que le souci vient de la carte graphique Nvidia GTX 1050.

Affaire à suivre.

Pour contourner le problème, il faut utiliser les drivers Intel.

Si quelqu'un a une autre solution, je suis preneur ;-)

Je n'arrive pas à trouver la référence que tu as indiquée dans ton titre et dans le post #1 : "XPS 15 9060". Ce que je trouve sur la toile, c'est "XPS 15 9560". Peux-tu confirmer que tu t'es trompé et que la référence de ton ordi est bien "XPS 15 9560" ? Sinon, si tu es certain que c'est "XPS 15 9060", je te prie de me donner un lien vers une page où on voit mentionner "XPS 15 9060" parce que je ne sais pas le trouver.

Le résultat que tu as collé dans ton post #13 indique que ton processeur est le Intel Core i7-7700HQ. Par contre, ton SSD dont on peut voir le nom du modèle dans le Boot-Info du post #4 (il s'agit du KXG50ZNV512G qu'on peut apercevoir sur cette page) n'est même pas affiché sous cette désignation. Je ne sais pas exploiter toutes les infos du post #13 pour t'aider à avancer. Je suis noyé.

Ton processeur est sorti au premier trimestre 2017 (donc, c'est du produit frais). Tes autres composants et ton Bios sont très frais aussi. L'idée d'installer là-dedans une version déjà vieille (16.04.3 est équipée du "moteur" de la version 17.04 de Ubuntu) ne me parait pas une bonne idée. Mais tu peux tenter.

C'est vrai qu'il est récent, je pensais justement qu'avec la dernière version de Ubuntu ça irait.

J'essayerai d'installer la version 16.4 ce soir et je vous tiens au courant, même si ta remarque est très pertinente.
