RESOLU Copie fichiers impossible sur HDD externe repartitionné

Bonjour
Je faisais jusqu'ici mes sauvegardes sur une seule des 4 partitions (160Go) d'un HDD externe mais manquant de place j'ai supprimé les partitions existantes sur ce HDD pour n'en recréer qu'une seule suffisamment grande (250Go) .Problème, je n'arrive pas à copier des fichiers dessus

je ne sais si mon partitionnement a été bien fait, il y a un dossier lost&found vide (accessible uniquement en root) mais je ne sais pas à quoi correspondent les 3.4Go utilisés

je ne sais comment modifier les permissions, je patauge toujours après avoir lu la doc sur la commande chown

sudo chmod 777 /media/joel/"joel Save" 

pourrait aider.


Utiliser REFIND au lieu du GRUB https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/refind . Aidez à vous faire dépanner en suivant le guide et en utilisant les outils de diagnostic J'ai perdu ma gomme. Désolé pour les fautes d'orthographes non corrigées.

2) Ce n'est pas une question de droits (chmod) mais de propriétaire (chown) !
Le remède, à appliquer disque branché-monté, est différent selon que
2.a) tu es seul utilisateur de ce DDE :

sudo chown -Rv $USER:$USER /media/joel/"Joel Save"

AJOUT
Et comme /media/joel/Joel Save/lost+found  doit rester propriété de root :

cd "/media/joel/Joel Save" && sudo chown -Rv root:root /lost+found; cd

              FIN d'ajout
ou que
2.b) vous êtes deux ou plus :

sudo mkdir "/media/joel/Joel Save/joel"
sudo chown -Rv $USER:$USER "/media/joel/Joel Save/joel"

Et pour l'utilisateur titi, toujours disque branché-monté :

sudo mkdir "/media/titi/Joel Save/titi"
sudo chown -Rv titi:titi "/media/titi/Joel Save/titi"

3) Accessoirement, tu devrais te rappeler qu'une espace dans un nom de répertoire est source de tracas ultérieurs.
Donc je t'invite à modifier l'étiquette
de Joel Save
en Joel_Save

et aussi ce qui me tracasse c'est ces 3,84 Go utilisés dans la partition /dev/sdb1 je ne vois pas du tout ce qu'il peut y avoir là dedans, quand j'ai créé la partition avec gparted  je croyais avoir choisi tout l'espace disponible, rien laissé devant ni derrière

Ton DDE est toujours parfaitement détecté par lsusb :

dont tu retrouves les identifiants dans dmesg),

Et puisque tu as modifié l'étiquette (point 3) avant les points 1 et 2,
il faut
a) que tu remplaces
Joel Save    par
Joel_Save
dans les commandes - ce que tu as fait ;

b) que tu fermes gparted, pour ne pas bloquer les montages ;

c) que tu débranches ton DDE,
que tu attendes une 20ne de secondes,
que tu le rebranches,
et que tu attendes une 40ne de secondes.



Après quoi, à mon avis,

mount -l | grep -i save

va te montrer la partition de ton DDE montée... et prête à recevoir les commandes. smile


Les 3,84 Gio :
bizarre, normalement tu aurais dû avoir 11,60 Gio réservés au système (= 5% par défaut). Peut-être qu'on t'avait fait modifier ce réglage, et que tu l'as oublié ?

ça est bizarre sais tu : je ne le voyais toujours pas dans thunar mais il est pourtant bien là

et je viens de le voir dans gparted avec "lvm" dans drapeau. J'ai supprimé ce drapeau, que j'avais laissé et pas décoché dans une manip ce matin. Ensuite fermé gparted et voilà ça marche sans même refaire la commande de montage .
Je sens que tu vas me renvoyer vigoureusement à l'école ou sous les drapeaux big_smile

Pour les 3.84 Go on verra plus tard, en fait ce HD c'est l'ancien que j'ai remplacé par un SSD parcequ'il fatiguait, ça ramait de temps en temps. Depuis il me servait de support de sauvegardes sur une partition d'échange; les 3 autres, que j'ai supprimées pour faire de la place étaient une partition Ubuntu 12.04, une swap et une Win xp pour le double boot. Je sais qu'il n'est pas fiable à 100% mais le temps d'en trouver un autre...

J'ai fait une erreur sad (en voulant te simplifier la tâche), à corriger !

/media/joel/Joel_Save/lost+found  doit rester propriété de root.
Donc

cd /media/joel/Joel_Save && sudo chown -Rv root:root /lost+found; cd

Remarque :
Tu n'as plus besoin de t'embêter avec des guillemets, puisque tu as supprimé l'espace.

Je ne comprends pas ton histoire de lvm :
sur ta capture en #1, il n'y a pas de lvm, ni dans la coloration, ni dans la colonne drapeaux/flags.
Alors ? Tu as reformaté entre-temps ? Si non, quoi ?
J'espère que tu n'as pas touché à ton disque-système qui, lui, était en lvm à 11h14.

l'appartenance de «/lost+found» a été conservée en root:root

le lvm Joel_Save : en fait soit je l'ai coché, soit je l'ai laissé coché en explorant la partition ce matin. Ensuite je suis allé voir sur un autre HD encore plus ancien (2001) mais qui marche toujours et là aucun drapeau, donc j'ai décoché lvm sur Joel_Save, ce qui a résolu une partie du pb. Il faudra que je lise dans la doc à quoi servent ces drapeaux, et aussi lost+found
j'ai vérifié lvm est bien coché sur le disque système
