Pas de connection dans le terminal, mais connection internet ok??????

Bonjoir chers Ubunteur(euse):
je suis novice avec Ubuntu et un milliard de choses m'échappe.
Surtout au niveau de la connection via le terminal Gnome.

Je suis sous Ubuntu 14.01, j'ai une connection normale sur le web via firefox, mais dès que je veux faire quoi que ce soit à partir du terminal c'est impossible.
Ou quand je souhaite télécharger un paquet, tjrs avec le terminal, il me dit "Check your connection ubuntu?????????.

Quand je fait "sudo pppoeconf" il me répond je cite,

"Sorry, i scanned 1 interface, but the access concentrator of your provider did not respond. Please check your network and modem cables. Another reason for the scan failure may also be another running pppoe process which controls the modem.

je comprends l'anglais en mon fort intérieur, bon ben là ....

J'ai fais "Okayeu" mais je me tire encore les cheveux!

Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider????

Salut
pour vérifier la connexion internet dans un terminal

ancienne mode

sudo ifconfig

nouvelle mode

sudo ip ad

ou

sudo ip route

Lance dans un terminal

sudo apt install inxi

puis

inxi -i && ping forum.ubuntu-fr.org -c3

et donnes-nous le retour terminal.

pour la ligne "sudo apt install inxi"

Ok, ton DNS a l'air de fonctionner, je me fais pas de soucis pour ta connexion internet.

Donc ça vient du paramétrage de tes listes de serveurs paquets

Je laisse la main, c'est pas mon domaine.

Du coup je dois chercher dans le paramétrage de mes listes de serveurs paquets!

Là je me suis arracher les tempes, ça fait punk, et comme le saumon je vais devoir remonter le courant!

pour installer des paquets il faut avoir un acces aux serveurs Ubuntu

cat /etc/apt/sources.list
