[RESOLU]noyau 4.4.0-109-generic et suivants reboot le PC en continu
Bonjour,
Je peux démarrer mon PC avec la 4.4.0-104-generic, mais la 109 (celle d’aujourd’hui) me reboot le PC en continu sans pouvoir voir aucun message d'erreur.
Certe je peux attendre une mise à jour suivante, mais alors comment faire connaître ce dysfonctionnement?
Il y a une procédure?

Bonjour,
Depuis une session démarrée sur le noyau 4.4.0-104-generic, je te prie de faire un Boot-Info en suivant les indications du paragraphe 1.1 Cas où au moins un ubuntu installé sur disque est opérationnel. Tu donneras l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse.

Bonjour malbo,
Fait étrange, je le rallume ce soir sur batterie et il démarre avec le noyau -109.
Je fais des mises à jour sous ce noyau (je crois que ça concernait des pilotes OpenGL et Mesa)
Je redémarre et de nouveau rebelote; reboot incessant sur ce noyau.
Le rapport boot-info fait sur le noyau 104

Pour l'instant sur une dizaine de démarrage effectués, seul 2 ont aboutis en 4.4.0-109-generic.
Donc le problème a l'air d'être assez aléatoire...
J'espère que ce n'est pas lié a ce sujet!
J'ai bien eu une mise à jour concernant ACPI (dmks : de souvenir), mais cela n'a rien changé.
Demain ou un autre jour, une mise à jour va peut être résoudre le problème, en attendant je fais avec la 104.

Un petit truc que je viens de remarquer:
Au menu du grub, si je débranche mon alim secteur (donc sur batterie), j'ai remarqué que le démarrage de la 109 accroche beaucoup mieux, le reboot intempestif est beaucoup plus rare alors que sur le secteur c'est pratiquement systématique.
Une fois arrivé à l'écran de session, je peux me rebrancher sur secteur et la session fonctionne sans problème jusqu'au prochain redémarrage...
Bon c'est pas une solution, mais si ça peut éclairer quelqu'un, ou faire avancer le "Schmilblick"
Le démarrage reste quand même aléatoire, mais les chances sont plus importantes sur batterie alors qu'elles sont quasi nulles sur secteur.

Bien que la 4.4.0-112 ait été proposée en mise à jour, toujours le même problème et la même punition.
Autant bien je pouvais accroché (non sans mal) la 109, que la 112 carrément impossible.
Je crains presque la prochaine MAJ si ça va de pire en pire...

je suis sur Debian qui gère beaucoup les versions de noyau
C'est vrai, j'ai une clé USB persistante avec une Debian Jessy et celle-ci ne m'a pas posée de problème lors des updates. Bon je m'en sert pas souvent car c'est un peu lent à ce mettre en place, mais j'ai un système léger que j'arrive à amorcer sur n'importe quel PC avec mon choix d'applications installées persistantes. (Elle fonctionne même sur les PC de mon entreprise: il faut dire qu'ils utilisent Novell)

Est ce qu'une version (peu importe la version) est disponible et inclurais déjà ces corrections de failles (sans faire de mise à jour)?
C'est pour voir si en démarrant en live elle me poserai les mêmes problèmes!
Si l'essai est concluant, je réinstalle mon bouzin (qui va bien pourtant), car mes recherches sur des problèmes similaires sont infructueux que ce soit in english ou en francais...

Enfin!
Le dernier noyau 4.4.0-116-generic proposé a presque résolu mon problème. Le reboot au grub a pratiquement disparu que je sois sur secteur ou non, mais il persiste quelque fois mais il n'est plus intempestif et il accroche au second reboot.
Je garde quand même précieusement le 104 qui ne me posait aucun problème.

Je suis curieux de voir ça.
Je te prie de passer la commande suivante dans un terminal (elle doit permettre de voir cette mise à jour du noyau puisqu'elle va montrer les 10 dernières lignes du fichier history.log) :
tail -10 /var/log/apt/history.logTu donneras dans ta réponse le retour complet de cette commande

Malheureusement j'ai placé mon /var/log en tmpfs, donc... plus de trace!
Mais je me suis fais une fausse joie, car en fait j'avais mal enficher ma prise d'alimentation (à force de jouer avec pour démarrer) et donc je me croyais sur secteur et en fait j'étais sur batterie.
Ce cas particulier à propos de l'alimentation me taraude et je me pose une question!
Mon SSD est placé dans un caddy bay (lecteur DVD), je n'ai pas touché au HDD qui est toujours au même emplacement.
Est ce que l'opération d'inverser l'emplacement des disques serait faisable sans tout casser?
En effet je me demande si l'alimentation est géré différemment depuis ces nouveaux noyaux et que l'alimentation sur le lecteur DVD est mis en priorité secondaire, et donc causerais des soucis de reconnaissance pour l’amorçage sur le disque.
Bon ce n'est qu'une supposition (peut être complètement infondé). Mais si l'opération peut se faire pour tester sous vos conseil et mode opératoire.
Parce ce que au bout de trois noyaux successifs avoir toujours ce même problème, me fais penser que c'est ma config qui pose problème.

C'est malin. C'est effectivement une suggestion qui figure dans la doc SSD du site au paragraphe 4.2 Placer les fichiers temporaires en mémoire vive
C'est sûr que pour madame Michu; garder les fichiers log ce n'est pas indispensable mais quand on cherche à comprendre ce qui se passe dans son ordi comme tu le fais, c'est dommage.
EDIT : cette histoire me permet de constater une anomalie dans ton fichier fstab, extrait du post #5 :

Cette ligne ne peut pas fonctionner parce qu'il aurait fallu remplacer "nomd'utilisateur" par "bruno" pour que ça donne :
tmpfs /home/bruno/.cache tmpfs defaults,size=2g 0 0Ces 4 lignes de montage de tmpfs sont nuisibles à mon avis, surtout quand elles sont fausses. Je te suggère de les commenter de façon à ce qu'elles ne soient plus prises en compte par Ubuntu : il suffit pour cela d'ajouter le caractère # en tête de chaque ligne de montage de tmpfs afin que ça devienne :
#tmpfs /tmp tmpfs defaults,size=2g 0 0
#tmpfs /var/log tmpfs defaults,nosuid,nodev,noatime,mode=0755,size=5% 0 0

2) ouvrir le fichier fstab avec pouvoir administrateur dans l'éditeur de texte :
gksudo gedit /etc/fstab3) faire les modifs proposées
4) enregistrer dans l’éditeur de texte
