Besoin d'aide suite installation Ubuntu en dual boot :(

Bonjour messieurs dam',

Alors voilà,

Je me suis en quête d'installer Ubuntu suivant la doc fourni par le site en dual avec windows 8.1 (connaissance en informatique, certes un peu, mais pas trop poussés)

J'ai plutôt pris le temps de bien lire + tuto vidéo sous Youtube.
Installation d'Ubuntu  => Bien passé, rien à dire. A la fin, je redémarre, pas de soucis, le GRUB me propose les deux choix : Ubuntu ou Windows system, alors je suis plutot heureux. Je relance Ubuntu pour voir si mon profil est sauvegardé => Niquel.
Alors j'éteinds et je vais lancer Windows 8.1, et là c'est le drame sad

Mon windows s'est bien lancé mais ensuite, à chaque redémarrage, impossible de lancer Ubuntu. (Pourtant, l'UEFI me proposait bien Ubuntu, mais pourtant, impossible).

Je chercher des solutions sur le Net, et je vois qu'on peut utiliser EasyBCD sous Windows, alors je le télécharge, et là certainement je rajoute Ubuntu en system Linux sur la partition du disque créé => Tres bien, ca marche désormais Ubuntu

Mais windows depuis est corrompu, imposible de le démarrer. J'ai tenté :
Récupération systeme
Réparation

Je suis retourné sous Ubuntu pour tenter de faire un boot-repair => Sans plus de succes sad

Rien ne marche.
Mon windows est bel et bien légal, mais je n'ai pas le cd (ordi donné par mes parents). J'ai le produit et l'étiquette dessus. J'ai bien compris qu'il s'agit d'un problème de boot BCD mais mes connaissances arrivent à leur limite.

Voici mon message d'erreur lors du lancement de Windows :

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix problem:

1) insert your Windows instalation disc and restart you computer.
2) Choose your language setings, and the click "Next."
3) Click "Repair you computer"

Pour information, voici le message de boot-repair :

Si votre ordinateur redémarre directement sur Windows, essayez de changer l'ordre de démarrage dans votre BIOS.
Si votre BIOS ne permet pas de changer l'ordre de démarrage, changez l'entrée de démarrage par défaut de l'amorceur Windows.
Par exemple, vous pouvez démarrer Windows, puis saisir la commande suivante dans une invite de commande en mode administrateur :
bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\ubuntu\shimx64.efi

Je laisse les experts en boot-info te dépanner. Par contre avais-tu désactivé le démarrage rapide de Windows? Il empêche Ubuntu de se lancer après un redémarrage, je suppose que ce n'était que ça au début. Lors de mises à jour windows, ce démarrage rapide se réactive parfois, aussi si ça se représente, toujours regarder de ce côté en 1er.

Pour l'instant, je peux me servir de mon PC, mais que de Ubuntu.
En ce moment, je télécharge une version ISO officiel sur microsoft.com de Windows 8.1 pour voir si je peux le booter demain matin pour réparer windows

En faisant une recherche sur le code erreur, il semble qu'il y ait une possibilité de réparer sans cd avec le mode sans échec de Windows.

Bonsoir.

Tentes malgré tout la touche MAJ F10 tel que proposé. Mais je crains qu'en dual boot cela ce soit pas efficace.

Il faudrait peut-être appuyer immédiatement après que tu aies choisis de lancer windows via ubuntu

Je pense que tu n'y couperas pas d'utiliser le support d'installation de windows et qu'il saura réparer la structure EFI que easybcd a détruit. Tu as confondu avec easyefi.

Si tu ne peux pas réparer facilement, n'hésites pas à réinstaller windows.
Car les aidant windows dans ce forum sont peu nombreux et l'un ne s'est pas manifesté en 2018
le second va certainement voir ta discussion bientôt et le dernier te propose une reinstallation de windows car cela règle le problème en une heure.
Nota Si tu pilotes bien, tu peux réinstaller windows au même endroit en préservant les données et même le vieil OS ce qui est presque dommages car après pour l'enlever c'est dur.
Alors le plus simple est de faire en sorte que dans le disque, il y ait un espace libre de 50 Go de libre.

Franchement : niquel. Ainsi, mon windows redémarre vu que l'EFI refonctionne donc c'est cool. (bon, j'avais testé une restauration usine hier, donc j'ai tout perdu, mais j'avais pas grand chose donc pas grave).

Quand, je fais gestion des disques sous windows, je vois que j'ai bien mes partitions ubuntu, donc parfait encore. Probleme, impossible de relancer ubuntu comme ca, je suis obligé de le faire avec un live cd/usb.

Pas de soucis, je le lance comme ca, sans l'installer, je fais un boot repair pour réamorcer le GRUB. Ca marche niquel. Je redémarre Ubuntu, et là j'arrive sur le GRUB où on me propose plusieurs choix dont Ubuntu et Windows, je dis parfait.

MAIS sad

Ensuite, à partir du moment où je choisit Windows, à aucun moment ensuite sur des redémarrages, je ne peux choisir Ubuntu par la suite (le GRUB disparait ou alors, c'est automatiquement forcé sur Windows). Ce qui était mon problème intitial. Je vais pas aller faire d'autre bétise, donc, pouvez vous me donner une démarche à suivre pour que le GRUB apparaisse à chaque démarrage de l'ordi (peu importe si j'étais sous Windows ou Ubuntu auparant).

Version d'Ubuntu : 16.04

edit : j'ai bien évidemment enlever de suite le démarrage rapide sous Windows après la réinstallation, mais ca ne change pas mon probleme sad

Ce problème est parfaitement identifié dans la documentation https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/uefi#contourn … _windows_8
Comme tu as un HP, le conseil classique est de dire que le choix de ubuntu se fait en appuyant sur la touche F9 (dans certains cas F10? F11? F12?) et de choisir ubuntu et de s'en tenit à cette méthode.

Comme je constate que tu te débrouilles bien avec windows, je te propose de regarder si cette commande faite en mode administratif  sous windows résout le problème

bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\ubuntu\grubx64.efi

C'est une réparation qui disparait lors de grosses mises à jour de windows et qui est donc à refaire.
J'ai mis grubx64 au lieu de shimx64 car ton boot n'est pas en mode secure

Sinon tu as la solution de dire que ubuntu c'est windows. J'appelle cela le mode kamikaze car si on rate, on est bon pour tout réparer. mMais tu connais.  (paragraphes 6.1 6.2 et 6.3).
C'est aussi une réparation qui disparait lors de grosses mises à jour de windows et qui fiche un gros bordel lors d'une nouvelle installation standard de ubuntu  et qu'il est aussi récessaire de refaire car le windows standard n'est pas l'officiel.
(En standard, choisir de lancer windows aboutit à lancer de nouveau ubuntu).

J'ai déjà rencontré ça sur un Pc toshiba, et j'avais utilisé efibootmgr pour pouvoir démarrer sur le grub. Lors du démarrage sur Windows, l'ordre du boot était écrasé pour redémarrer sur Windows. Je ne suis pas sûr de moi comme ça fait longtemps de ça que je l'ai fais mais je pense que tu es confronté au même problème quand je vois:

efibootmgr -v
BootCurrent: 0000
Timeout: 2 seconds
BootOrder: 0001,0002,0009,000A,0006,0007,0000

Le bootCurrent est le 0000 or il se trouve en dernier sur BootOrder. Tu peux essayer de le remettre en 1er avec efibootmgr mais vu ce que tu dis après un boot-repair, le démarrage de Windows semble l'écraser.
Il y a 2 solutions. Sur ton Pc, il doit y avoir une touche pour accéder au menu de démarrage. Il faut parfois activer cette fonction dans le bios. Dans le menu de démarrage, tu sélectionnes ton disque et là tu devrais avoir le choix entre Ubuntu et Windows.
Voici les touches les plus courantes en fonction des marques:

Acer - Esc, F9, F12
    ASUS - Esc, F8
    Compaq - Esc, F9
    Dell - F12
    EMachines - F12
    HP - Esc, F9
    Intel - F10
    Lenovo - F8, F10, F12
    NEC - F5

Si ça fonctionne comme ça, tu le fais à chaque démarrage ou sinon, plus risqué,  il faudrait faire croire au PC que le  bootloader de Windows est celui du Grub, je l'avais fait et ça fonctionne. J'essaye de te retrouver la discussion qui m'a permis de le faire.
Ajout: Trouvé! Je m'étais inspiré de cette réponse.
Attention néanmoins à bien comprendre ce que tu fais.

Et là, comme ?? le dis, j'ai fait

En fait, j'ai fait shimx64 au lieu grubx64  car j'ai lu sur le topic que j'ai mis en lien qu'on pouvait également le faire.
Bon, toujours est il que cela marche désormais. Je peux choisir ubuntu et windows 8 apres l'utilisation de l'un comme de l'autre .

En ce moment, je fais les mises à jours windows, en lisant les liens que vous m'avez fourni, dois-je comprendre alors qu'après chaque mise à jour importante, je dois à nouveau rentrer la lgne de commande pour que le GRUB réapparaisse à nouveau ??  (en sachant que desormais, je ne vois pas de raison de remettre le mode secure à mon boot, ni même remettre l'amorcage rapide de windows)


@metalux : Si je peux m'abstenir de ta 2eme solution, je suis preneur. Comme tu le pressents, je suis déjà pas sûr de bien tout comprendre ce que je fais alors ^^ tongue

shimx64.efi correspond au démarrage du grub avec le secure boot activé. Celui-ci peut poser des soucis pour le chargement de certains modules comme le wifi par exemple qui demande à désactiver cette fonction. Si ton Pc n'a pas de problème avec le secure boot, tu peux garder le démarrage sur ce fichier avec le secure boot activé sinon il faut utiliser  grubx64 avec le secure boot désactivé.

@metalux : Si je peux m'abstenir de ta 2eme solution, je suis preneur. Comme tu le pressents, je suis déjà pas sûr de bien tout comprendre ce que je fais alors ^^

La solution avec efibootmgr revient à priori au même qu'avec bcdedit sous windows, à la différence près que je maîtrise mieux Gnu/Linux que Windows, faisant des dual-boot pour les autres mais n'utilisant pas windows par moi-même, hormis dans le cadre professionnel.
Quand je l'avais fais, je n'ai pas eu à le refaire même après des mises à jour windows, à voir avec bcdedit si c'est la même chose.

Comme c'était ma 1ère remarque, le démarrage rapide de Windows est en fait une sorte d'hibernation. Ceci empêche le démontage propre des partitions et t'empêche le démarrage avec Ubuntu, donc c'est indispensable de le désactiver. J'ai souvent eu des appels à la rescousse concernant Ubuntu qui ne démarrait plus et souvent c'était dû au démarrage rapide qui s'était réactivé lors d'une mise à jour windows. Si tu es confronté à ce cas, il y a généralement la réponse dans le message d'erreur faisant référence à windows si je m'en souviens. J'ai encore eu le cas récemment début janvier sur le PC de ma fille qui est en dual-boot.

Si le secure boot pose problème pour ubuntu, tu le désactives. Si ça ne démarre pas sur le grub, tu le réactives alors juste pour démarrer sur windows et passer la commande qui va bien (bcdedit....grubx64.efi) puis extinction et à nouveau désactivation du secure boot.
Ça n'écrase pas  shimx64, ça indique juste de démarrer sur grubx64 à la place.

Je te confirme que shimx64,efi, lorsqu'il a fini de causer avec le bios, lance le programme grubx64.efi que cela soit en mode sécurisé ou non. Tu en verras la démonstration si tu lis la documentation refind
( voir ma signature) tu constateras que refind en mode sécurisé se fait passer pour grubx64.efi,

Je me permet de revenir ici,

Alors, j'ai fini de faire ma MAJ windows (j'avais pu telecharger qu'un ISO de windows8, mais je voulais revenir en 8.1). Et une fois windows mis à jour correctement, et bien surprise, plus d'accès à nouveau au GRUB. Donc retour à la case départ (du coup, jme suis payé un formatage de windows pour rien).
BRef, j'ai refait exactement les manips (lancer ubuntu en live cd, refaire un boot repair, lancer un terminal pour faire un : efibootmgr -v, et relancer windows et faire un bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\ubuntu\shimx64.efi).
Et finalement, cela marche comme prévu.
SI seulement j'avais mieux lu la doc concernant les HP, je n'aurais pas perdu une journée.

Peu importe, vive les sauvegarde quand même et desormais, je peux lancer l'un ou l'autre. A moi désormais de découvrir l'environnement ubuntu qui m'est complètement inconnu jusque là tongue

Si, une dernière chose svp : Depuis que j'ai fait la première installation d'Ubuntu et un premier boot repair, dans mon GRUB, (cf image)liens_GRUB_image, alors que je n'ai touché à rien. Est ce normal d'avoir autant de choix, ou est ce pénalisant ? Puis-je laisser comme cela ? Merci de m'éclairer.

Boot-repair t'a proposé le maxima de possibilités. Mais tu peux en avoir moins.

sudo chmod   -x  /etc/grub.d/25_custom
sudo update-grub

Utiliser REFIND au lieu du GRUB https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/refind . Aidez à vous faire dépanner en suivant le guide et en utilisant les outils de diagnostic J'ai perdu ma gomme. Désolé pour les fautes d'orthographes non corrigées.

Ce sont des commandes sans danger et réversibles en remplaçant le signe moins par le signe plus.
