Perte d'ecran annexe

Bonjour et merci d'avance de votre aide.
J'ai un PC portable Dell Inspiron 15-3552 acheter avec Ubuntu 14.04 ; j'ai connecté à celui-ci un écran secondaire lui-même Dell qui a été reconnu sans difficulté jusqu'a il y a quelques jours.
Sans que je puisse dire s'il y a eu qqchose de déterminant, donc depuis impossible de faire afficher quoi que ce soit sur l’écran secondaire.
la sortie depuis le portable est HDMI et la liaison avec l’écran secondaire est HDMI vers DVI.

la commande lspci donne ceci :

Un peu il semble que tu es un probléme pas grand chose de charger.
pour info voila ce que me donne mon xrandr:

LVDS1 l'ecran du portable
DVI1 ce doit etre une sortie quand on branche le pc sur un doc.
TV1 la sortie S-Video
VGA1 la sortie VGA
VIRTUAL1 sert pour faire des modifs d'affichage sur les autres ecrans on doit pouvoir afficher un ecran plus grands sur un plus petit ou inversemment mais la j'y suis pas encore.

Chez toi ça dit j'ai rien trouver je te ballance quelque chose pour que ça s'affiche.

il vas faloir aller voir du coté de Xorg pour voir ce qu'il a fait. vas dans tes applications cherche "journaux systeme" ouvre et vas sous Xorg.0.log
j'ai une ubuntu 16.04 le fichier se trouve sous /var/log/Xor.0.log passe par pastebin que je puisse voir.

Effectivement je commence à comprendre les problèmes que j'ai sans pour l'instant avoir les moyens de les résoudre.

cat: affiche un fichier ici /var/log/Xorg.0.log les log de Xorg
le | c'est pour faire un tube (pipe). les tubes on les utilise parfois pour enchaîner des commandes: une commande écrit dans le tube, une autre y lit.
grep:  est un filtre. Il peut trouver un mot dans un fichier. ici "] (EE)"

Pour communiquer avec un périphérique, on lit ou on écrit dans un fichier spécial représentant ce périphérique.
/dev : contient les fichiers spéciaux correspondant aux périphériques.
/dev/dri/card0 c'est pour communiqué avec ta carte. Et la il le trouve pas. tu peu vérifier manuellement si il existe.

commande:~$ ls /dev/dri/
card0  card1  renderD128  renderD129

Tu ne peut pas lire les info sur ta carte tu tourne bien sur une configuration minimum.

j'ai vue Qu'il fallait réinstaller les drivers..

Le résultat de la commande ls /dev/dri est assez décevant.....

J'ai une 14.04, j'ai eu un problème de dual screen qui ne fonctionnait plus il y a quelques jours suite à une mise à jour du noyau 3.13.0-143 qui est installé sur ta machine hmm ...

La solution ici (en tout cas en ce qui me concerne).
