[contourné] Pavé tactile ne fonctionne plus (Terra Ubuntu 16.04)

Bonjour,
J'ai un Ultrabook Terra sur lequel j'ai installé Ubuntu 16.04 et Kali en dual boot (grub2)
Mon pavé tactile a cessé de fonctionner juste après l'installation. Il fonctionnait durant pour les deux systèmes et juste après au premier boot, puis rien au redémarrage. J'ai recommencé deux fois les deux installations, même problème.
J'ai un bouton pour activer ou désactiver le pavé tactile qui a même fonctionné au premier boot sous Ubuntu.
Avec une souris en USB tout marche parfaitement. Pour information l'ultrabook était avant sous Windows 10 et le pavé tactile fonctionnait, donc je m'oriente vers un souci logiciel.

J'ai essayé pour l'activer :

synclient TouchpadOff=0
gconftool --type bool --set /desktop/gnome/peripherals/touchpad/touchpad_enabled true

ajout de i8042.nomux à Grub

Il semblerait sur les forums que ce soit un bug du noyau
J'ai tenté d'ajouter au noyau le paramètre i8042.nopnp, mais je ne sais pas trop comment m'y prendre sans compromettre mon système.
J'ai vu sur cette page (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingTouchpadDetection) que je pouvais reporter un bug...
Seulement j'aimerai une solution plus simple et de plus je n'arrive pas à avoir les caractéristiques du touchpad...

J'ai essayé les commandes ci-dessous pour en connaître les caractéristiques :

Hardware Lister ne me donne non plus aucune information :

Et je ne sais pas sur lequel de ces périphériques se branche la nappe du touchpad

J'ai donc démonté l'ordinateur pour avoir accès directement au touchpad et pris une photo.
Il n'y a a priori aucune indication quant au fabricant.
Voici les indications que j'ai pu relever sur le circuit imprimé :
- une étiquette à code barre collée : T1310001937 TAIWAN-2F
- un logo : TUV Rheinland Product Safety
- un 2ème logo (de contrôle ?) : CEPBRFLEOC6001 01-13 F94V-0
- un 3ème logo : CSR 273467
Et sur la nappe : XUNWEI E351578 AWM 20624 80C 60V VW-1

Voilà...
Vous me direz : ben la souris en USB elle fonctionne, alors pourquoi se prendre la tête...
Oui, pourquoi ?

Ah oui, effectivement, le touchpad apparaît même pas dans le retour précédent, je pensais qu'il serait listé. Tu pourrais redonner le retour de la même commande mais sur le live usb? Tu as installé ubuntu avec des paramètres noyaux particuliers (genre i8042.nomux ou autre)?
C'est bizarre, tout ce que je trouve sur ce pc est en Allemand (et google traduction, c'est pas génial)

@xubu1957: pourquoi pas, mais c'est bizarre que ça fonctionne sur le noyau présent sur le live usb. Si c'est un bug du noyau, ça va normalement le résoudre.

Donc pour passer sur un noyau plus récent, je te laisse faire dans un terminal (je suis la doc)

sudo apt-add-repository -y ppa:teejee2008/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ukuu

puis tu tentes d'installer un noyau 4.14 (le 4.14.5 par exemple). Surtout ne prends pas de noyau rc (release candidate). Si l'install ne marche pas, redémarre le pc et reteste, ça m'avait débloqué la situation dans mon cas. Ensuite, tu redémarres puis dans le menu grub, tu choisis options avancées d'ubuntu, et tu démarres sur le noyau fraîchement installé. Et tu testes le touchpad.

Tu peux donner le retour de

cat /etc/default/grub | grep GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX

qu'on voit quels paramètres sont passés par défaut.

Edit: j'avais pas vu que des noyaux 4.16 sont sortis, ça peut peut être valoir le coup d'en essayer un aussi

J'ai installé UKUU et le noyau Linux 4.14.5
Le pavé tactile ne fonctionne toujours pas.
Pour info, les autres noyaux Linux installés sont :

  • Linux 4.13.0.38.57

  • Linux 4.13.0.38.43 ~16.04.1 (noyau en cours avant passage à la version 4.14.5)

  • Linux 4.13.0.38.40 ~16.04.1

Voici le retour de

Bah normalement, les pilotes sont intégrés au noyau (en particulier ce genre de pilotes). Donc théoriquement ça devrait fonctionner. A partir de

FSPPS/2 Sentelic FingerSensingPad

j'ai fait beaucoup de recherches, et il a beaucoup d'infos mais datées.
En attendant que je trie tout ça, tu peux donner depuis le live usb le retour de

uname -a

(je me demande si tu aurais pas un noyau 4.4 sur le live usb)

Edit: tu peux vérifier que xserver-xorg-input-all est bien installé?


Le pilote est visiblement dans le noyau depuis quelques temps

xserver-xorg-input-all n'est pas installé, c'est xserver-xorg-input-all-hwe-16.04 qui l'est  (d'après synaptic), je ne sais pas si ça fait une différence.

Arf, ma théorie tombe à l'eau.

J'ai vérifié: dans les options de compilation du noyau linux, le pilote de ton touchpad est bien sur y, donc intégré au noyau (sous forme de module ou en dur, mais intégré)
J'ai trouvé de bonnes quantités d'anciennes discussions qui parlent de ce touchpad qui marche pas du tout, un ou deux ans plus tard on voit plein de discussions qui disent: il marche, mais se désactive pas quand je tape au clavier ou que le défilement ne fonctionne pas.
Tu peux tenter de passer le paramètre acpi=off (c'est pas une solution, c'est juste un test): pour cela, dans le menu grub, sur l'entrée ubuntu, tu fais e pour éditer le démarrage, puis entre quiet et splash tu ajoutes acpi=off, puis c'est F10 il me semble pour démarrer. Ca vient peut être du gestion de l'énergie un poil agressive, acpi c'est la gestion de l'énergie. Et bien évidemment tester le touchpad. Et pourquoi pas dire si

(et j'ai pas fini mes recherches, j'ai fait un petit résumé des liens utiles, mais il faut encore faire du tri)

J'ai essayé aussi le dernier noyau 4.16.2 et réessayé celui du Live CD 4.13.0.36 mais rien n'y fait.

C'est quand même fou ce pilote qui a fonctionné au premier boot après installation et s'est "désactivé" ensuite !

Je reste sur quel noyau au fait ?

Au cas où: tu as essayé d'activer/désactiver le pavé tactile avec la combinaison de touches adéquate?
Tu peux donner le retour de

lsmod
cat /proc/bus/input/devices

(je pense que psmouse est le pilote, j'en trouve pas d'autre)
et après un redémarrage (ça limitera les infos) tu peux donner

cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log
dmesg

Edit: et tu peux essayer

sudo modprobe -r psmouse ; sudo modprobe psmouse

Reedit: rajout de commandes


Et pour le noyau, qui peut le plus peut le moins, donc peu importe le noyau choisi, ça devrait marcher.

A chaque essai j'ai activé / désactivé le touchpad avec le bouton approprié, sans succès (car je le rappelle ce bouton fonctionnait également au premier boot)

La première sert à vérifier que psmouse est bien le module qui gère le touchpad, cat /proc/bus/input/devices c'est pour essayer de trouver plus d'infos sur ce touchpad, cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log et dmesg servent à trouver des erreurs en rapport avec le touchpad pour pouvoir faire des recherches plus précises.

sudo modprobe -r psmouse ; sudo modprobe psmouse sert à décharger puis recharger le module psmouse qui gère le touchpad, j'ai vu passer cette solution, c'est pour cela que je l'ai proposée.

J'ai désinstallé Ubuntu pour essayer Debian 9.4.
Et bien le pavé tactile fonctionne avec Debian.
C'était pour le test, car j'ai finalement choisi de réinstaller Kali 2018 sur tout le disque.
Surprise, le pavé tactile fonctionne aussi.
Pourtant Ubuntu est basé comme Kali sur Debian... ce ne sont pas les mêmes noyaux ?

Non, il me semble que chacun l'arrange à sa sauce pour supporter tel ou tel matériel.
Du coup, j'imagine que tu vas rester sur kali ou debian?

Oui sur Kali, pour explorer la sécurité réseau.
Et puis j'ai déjà Ubuntu sur une autre plateforme.
Du coup je passe le sujet en résolu, même si il ne l'est pas vraiment ?

C'est pas résolu, effectivement, tu peux mettre contourné (en général on met résolu ou abandonné, mais je trouve pas que la situation corresponde à ces deux termes)
