il ne faut pas copier mais graver une iso
une fois fais tu n'as pas un fichier iso sur le medium mais une arborescence
un peu comme si tu avais décompressé un zip

soyons clair :
Windows installe par défaut son bootloader et ne crée pas, par défaut, de boot pour Linux... contrairement à Linux !
L'installation de Windows va faire péter grub !

En effet, windows n'est pas installé sur mon PC.
Donc, faire un BOOT repari pour réinstaller le grub ? Il me semble avoir essayé avec un resultat négatif
Je ne possede qu'un disque dur capable de sauvegarder la copie de Ubuntu, quoique j'ai aussi une clé USB.
Il me reste 9 GO de disponibles sur ma clé USB.
Cette technique me parait tres compliquée, je suis un vrai novice.
"Rapatrier les partitions de l'autre support", bigre, comment fait on cela ?

Bonjour
Pour sauver les partitions de ton disque dur interne vers un disque dur externe
1) Tu bootes avec le support d'installation
2) Tu lances GPARTED
3) Tu fais de la place sur le disque externe.
4) Tu te positionnes sur une partition du disque interne
Si partition EXT4, tu peux la rétrécir.
Tu fais l'action de COPIER
5) Tu te positionnes dans un espace libre du disque externe
Tu fais l'action de COLLER
6) Tu itères pour toutes les partitions
7) Tu supprimes toutes les partitions
8) Tu convertis la table de partition GPT en MSDOS
9) Tu installes windows7 si j'ai bien compris
10 Après, cela sera l'opération inverse de rapatrier les partitions dupliquées sur le disque externe

Très bien, qu'as-tu tenté exactement?
Je t'ai proposé de graver un dvd d'installation de WIndows 10 et d'utiliser ce disque.
As-tu réussi à graver ce disque et à l'utiliser?
J'ai comme un doute, ton pc est-il bien équipé d'un lecteur/graveur de DVD?
Le mieux serait que tu fournisses un boot-info de ton installation, cela nous permettrait d'y voir plus clair.

Dépôt manifestement obsolète, à retirer de la liste de dépôts, il empêche un fonctionnement correct de la mise à jour de tes logiciels et bloque l'installation de boot-info.
Donc tant que boot-info n'est pas installé pas la peine de tenter de lancer quoi que ce soit.
Le disque Windows10 a-t-il été gravé avec succès?
Note: Le ppa de Robert Ancell simple-scan ne fournit pas de version utilisable au-delà de Ubuntu Precise 12.04 or manifestement tu utilises Ubunru 16.04 Xenial.

sudo apt install boot-info
Devrait fonctionner pour l'installation de boot-info puisque l'installation du ppa yannubuntu/boot-repair a réussi.
sudo apt install ppa-purge
Pour installer l'outil de supression de ppa suivi de
sudo ppa-purge -p robert-ancell/simple-scan
pour supprimer le ppa casse-pied et enfin
sudo apt --purge autoremove
pour compléter le nettoyage.

Graver le dvd d'installation de Windows 10
Tester son lancement en mode uefi
Si le lancement s'effectue tu retournes sous Ubuntu et tu fais de la place à Windows en dégageant au moins 60 GB d'espace disque.
Inutile de créer de nouvelles partitions NTFS dans cette espace.
Tu peux supprimer la partition fat32 /dev/sda3 qui ne sert à rien dans la mesure où l'installation via Grub est abandonnée.Lancer l'installation de Windows en mode uefi et choisir de l'installer dans tout l'espace disque libre.
Note: À tout hasard, vérifier si il existe un fichier /efi/boot/bootx64.efi sur ton disque d'installation Windows 7.

Puisque je ne m'en servirai pas. Je viens de vérifier, et je n'ai pas ces fichiers sur seven. Cela explique l'impossibilité de l'installer ?

Oui, ce WInodows 7 n'est pas une version uefi et ne peut pas être utilisé pour une installation dans la configuration actuelle de ton pc.
Je voulais juste être certain que le problème initial traité dans ce fil n'était pas un problème de mode de démarrage du pc.

J'ai un souci avec brasero, car lorsque je souhaite graver sur DVD une image ISO, cela ne fonctionne pas. Cela indique pas assez d'espace disponible, alors que le DVD fait 4.7 GO, ainsi que l'image ISO
Que faire ??? J'ai aussi essayé avec K3B, mais ca ne donne rien !!
