j'ai un souci pour démarrer l'ordi quand je lance ubuntu sous grub2 il revient au mot de passe du bios. je suis obligé de forcer l'accés en ré amorcant le grub. de plus je ne peux plus rallumer l'écran aprés une mise en veille.
en regardant > devtalk.nvidia.com/default indiquant ce bug > bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gcc-4.8/+bug/1750937.
Les noyaux patchés seraient-ils ignorés dans cette installation ?

Je trouve cette réponse ancienne :
Phoronix a signalé quelques problèmes avec les processeurs Skylake et Ubuntu. Il existe également des solutions de contournement disponibles. Néanmoins, la solution la plus simple pour le moment que l'auteur a trouvée (et vous n'allez probablement pas aimer cela) était de lancer Fedora à la place. Au moins pour le moment ...
En ce qui concerne i915 vs i915_bpo, je pense que "bpo" signifie "backported". Il contient quelques correctifs trouvés dans les nouvelles versions de i915 qui sont rétroportées dans le noyau ubuntu pour résoudre les problèmes connus / ajouter un nouveau support matériel.

si je comprends la réponse que tu as trouvé, c'est qu'il y a un problème de compatibilité entre mon processeur et Ubuntu ?? cependant cela fait au moins 3 ans que ma bécane tourne avec Ubuntu 16.04 et je n'avais pas de souci avant. le problème est apparu aprés une ré installation de ubuntu 16.04

bonjour à tous
alors du nouveau
j'ai profité des vacances pour suivre un conseil que l'informaticien du boulot m'a donné. C'est à dire de réinstaller ubuntu 16.04 en choisissant de formater le disque. l'idée est qu'à l'installation les fichiers de boot se recréent et que je ne sois plus obligé de démarrer en mode sans échecs. j'ai donc fait tout cela aujourd'hui, tout réinstallé et redémarré !
toujours le meme défaut, le pc ne se lance pas sur ubuntu et reviens au mot de passe bios !
diagnostique ??

Vous voudrez peut-être re-essayer après avoir créé une partition /boot (EXT4, >200MB, en début de disque). Cela peut être réalisé via des outils tels que gParted. oui mais la bécane démarre en mode sans échecs ! aucun souci j'ai tout sauvegardé y a pas de problème !
ce que je cherche maintenant, c'est à éviter le démarrage en mode sans échecs en faisant en sorte qu'il boot au bon endroit !
il semblerait que le fichier de boot soit trop loin et qu'il ne le trouve pas !

non je n'avais pas encore vu ce doc, je viens de le parcourir, penses tu qu'il faut que je regarde dans le bios. vérifier si tout démarre en UEFI et désactiver secure boot ??
