Installation Ubuntu 18.04 LTS - Asus G552VW-263T

Bonjour la communaute,

j'ai un Asus G552VW-263T depuis novembre 2017 sur lequel le demarrage de l'installation sur disque ou le lancement de la session live n'aboutissent pas - Ubuntu 18.04 LTS sur DVD.

le symptome est que 'l'affichage n'evolue plus', le lecteur dvd s'arrete, le clavier est inoperant.
il faut arreter en appuyant longtemps sur la touche on/off.

ayant fait quelques recherches j'ai trouve sur votre forum plusieurs pistes :
1ere
- desactiver Secure Boot Control
- activer Launch CSM

cela n'a pas permis de solutionner le probleme.

hier j'ai de nouveau fait des recherches sur votre forum d'ou cette seconde piste :
2nde
- appuyer sur la touche 'e' lorsque la fenetre du choix d'installation apparait et remplacer 'quiet splash ---' par 'nomodeset' puis appuyer sur la touche 'f10'

et bien ayant choisi la session live apres avoir fait ces modifications, l'installation de la session live a aboutie.

j'ai realise un boot-info avec la procedure trouve sur ce forum (si ca peut aider la communaute) :

prochaine etape l'installation sur l'un des disques...sur ce modele il y a un ssd de 500go de type Nmve et un hdd de 1T en Sata.
est ce que le ssd Nmve peut poser des soucis ?

je ne pense pas faire de dual boot avec la fenetre10 ;-) . a la place j'utiliserai virtualbox si besoin.

Tu as écrit : "je ne pense pas faire de dual boot avec la fenetre10". A mon avis, c'est une connerie de virer W10 pour plusieurs raisons : primo, si tu veux le réinstaller ensuite sans casser les burnes à Ubuntu, ça risque d'être délicat. Secundo, en cas de dysfonctionnement futur de Ubuntu, c'est toujours intéressant de pouvoir vérifier que W10 fonctionne bien : ça montre que le pb n'est pas matériel mais purement logiciel. Moi, je te conseille au contraire de faire cohabiter W10 et Ubuntu sur le SSD en réduisant la taille du disque C: de Windows depuis Windows lui-même conformément à ce paragraphe 3.3 Pour Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 afin de dégager une zone non partitionnée qui sera destinée à Ubuntu. Pour l'installation de Ubuntu, il faut suivre le paragraphe 2. Installer Ubuntu en mode EFI.
EDIT : avant toute chose, si tu as des données précieuses sur le SSD ou sur le disque dur, je te recommande d'en faire une sauvegarde sur disque dur externe (ou clé USB de grande capacité) parce qu'une connerie est toujours possible quand on se lance dans ces manips.

Bonjour Malbo, j'espère que tu as vu que boot-info continue de déconner en oubliant de signaler le contenu de la partition EFI de boot. Ce qui veut dire que l'installateur de UBUNTU va faire de même
Je suggère de rétrécir SDA1 de 127 Mo et d'y fabriquer une partition FAT32 avec drapeau BOOT

Utiliser REFIND au lieu du GRUB https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/refind . Aidez à vous faire dépanner en suivant le guide et en utilisant les outils de diagnostic J'ai perdu ma gomme. Désolé pour les fautes d'orthographes non corrigées.
