[RÉSOLU] Installation d'Ubuntu 18.04 en dual-boot avec Win 10...ratée

Bonsoir,

Mon pc perso est depuis bien longtemps sous Ubuntu, mon PC de boulot est sous Windows 10, de façon contrainte. Depuis la mise à jour 1803 de Windows 10, le PC de boulot est inutilisable. J'ai donc craqué, j'ai installé Ubuntu 18.04 dessus, mais en dual-boot, car j'ai des licences sous Win10.

Le premier boot a été parfait, choix entre Ubuntu et Windows 10. J'ai peaufiné mes petits paramétrages, j'ai rebooté...bing, grub rescue. Je ne me suis pas affolé, je sais que le coupable est Windows qui a malmené grub, j'ai booté avec une clé boot-repair.

Malheureusement, pas moyen de réussir une réparation recommandée, échec à chaque fois. J'ai fini par tenter une restauration du MBR dans les options avancées. Cela a parfaitement fonctionné, Windows 10 reboote, mais, forcément, plus d'accès à Ubuntu.

Je voudrais donc réinstaller grub, mais je n'y arrive pas.

Les fichiers de démarrage de [Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS] sont loin du début du disque. Votre BIOS pourrait ne pas les détecter. Vous voudrez peut-être re-essayer après avoir créé une partition /boot (EXT4, >200MB, en début de disque). Cela peut être réalisé via des outils tels que gParted. La partition 6 est avant la partition 5. Lors de la très prochaine mise à niveau de Windows 10, il risque d'y avoir suppression de la partition 6 par Windows 10 (comme dans ce cas) aussi je te suggère de supprimer les deux partitions logiques sdb5 et sdb6 et de refaire le partitionnement correct, c'est à dire sdb5 avant sdb6. Concrètement, il faut créer d'abord la partition logique EXT4 pour Ubuntu en début de partition étendue (elle deviendra sdb5), puis la partition logique au format NTFS (qui deviendra sdb6) dans le reste de la partition étendue. Tu feras une installation toute neuve de Ubuntu 18.04 dans la partition sdb5.
