verifier un DD qui n'a pas SMART ? [resolu]

Salut,
mon DD usb semble commencer a deconner, et je voudrais faire une verification en detail de son etat.
l'outil smartmontool me renvoit ceci :

Bonjour Syborg.

Oui, ce disque a un problème, Smart indique 26 erreurs.
Donne plus de précisions sur les anomalies.
Ne tente pas des manips du genre fsck ( ou chkdsk si tu vas sur windows), cela peut aggraver tes ennuis.
Attends la venue d'un spécialiste qui te guidera.

Uff je ne vais pas attendre un "specialiste".... si je peux reparer les erreurs moi meme par un moyen ou un autre tant mieux, sinon je jetterai le disque.
Y a t il un moyen d'essayer de reparer les erreurs ? de quel genre d'erreur s'agit il ?

J'ai l'impression que les DD aujourd'hui tombent beaucoup plus facilement en panne que ceux d'il y a 10 ou 20 ans. J'ai raison ? obsolesence programee ?

Perso je suis pas alarmé par ton rapport smart. Les deux dernières erreurs sont survenues il y 1h, sinon pour moi c'est raisonnable. pour comparaison

Décris les anomalies de façon plus précise et indique les messages d'erreur éventuels, stp.
Comment est connecté le disque ?

Naziel.Bonjour

Smart n'indique pas de secteurs réalloués ou en attente de réallocation et il n'y a pas
de message d'erreur E/S. On peut raisonnablement penser que la surface du disque
est en bon état. Et pourtant, il a un problème.
Peut-être l'alimentation ?

Je te prie d'activer aujourd'hui les tests automatiques sur ton disque :

sudo smartctl -s on -o on /dev/sdc

et dans deux jours, tu nous remontreras

sudo smartctl -a /dev/sdX

en remplaçant "X" par la lettre en usage à ce moment-là.

  - -

Toute erreur n'est pas grave.
En revanche, peux-tu montrer

history | grep -E "hdparm|smart"

et nous expliquer quelle bidouilles tu as pratiquées pour provoquer :

Les anomalies : quand je veux y acceder avec Gparted ca rame sans arret et ca me met "erreur I/O".
curieusement en reasseyant avec Gparted le lendemain, j'ai pu y acceder, refaire un table de partition en msdos, et creer une partition FAT32.
Aujourd'hui j'y ai copie 3 gros fichiers, mais quand j'ai voulu y acceder avec un logiciel de traitement audio, ca tournait en boucle sans pouvoir les charger.

Le disque est connecte en USB.

ok je vais faire ce que tu me dis ce soir.
je n'ai fait aucune bidouille, en revanche le disque deconnait deja il y a un an, et je l'ai emmene a un voisin informaticien qui me l'a rendu apparemment en bon etat de matrche. Je ne sais pas ce qu'il a fait.
Je precise que mon niveau en informatique est presque nul.

As-tu essayé de brancher ton disque USB sur un autre port ?
Utilises-tu un hub usb pour brancher ton disque dur ?

Enlève ton hub USB et branche ton disque directement.

Dans ton Dmesg on peut lire ce qui suit :

FAT-fs (sdc1): Volume was not properly unmounted. Some data may be corrupt. Please run fsck.

Connais-tu le type de formatage de ton disque USB ?

Apparemment, tu as aussi des problèmes de lecture/écriture avec ton lecteur de CD/DVD. L'as-tu constaté ?

Ok je vais le brancher sur un autre port USB. Mais comment savoir si le disque est ok sur un autre port ? quelle commande puis je faire pour le savoir ? Il est formate en NTFS.

Pour le lecteur DVD je ne savais pas.... je peux y faire qq chose ?

J'en profite pour reposer ma question : les DD d'aujourd'hui tombent ils plus en panne qu'il y a 10 ou 20 ans ? si oui pourquoi ?....

Il faudra donc le brancher sur un Windows pour procéder à un "chkdsk". Je te laisse chercher comment faire.

Ton disque dur n'est pas en panne. Il est seulement branché via un hub (ce hub est-il alimenté en électricité ?) qui a, soit un problème d'alimentation trop faible, soit un problème de connectique USB.

Si ton lecteur USB est branché sur le hub, il ne faut pas t'étonner qu'il y ai des messages d'erreurs. Si ton support est abimé (griffures, par exemple), c'est normal qu'il y ai des messages d'erreurs.

Ok merci ! je peux faire un chkdsk sous win10, mais tant que je suis sur linux n'y a t il pas une commande equivalente ?

Comme NTFS est un format Microsoft, il vaut mieux utiliser les outils fournis par le fabricant.
