Ecran violet après installation Ubuntu LTS 16.04.3
Bonjour,
j'avais sur un PC qui n'est pas à moi Ubuntu LTS 16.04 installé (je crois que c'était Ubuntu desktop 16.04.1)
Il était installé sur un seul disque avec une seule partition.
Mais en voulant installer Tensorflow en mode GPU, il y a sûrement une mise à jour, je pense de driver NVIDIA
qui a fait que le PC me demandait le login et le mot de passe, en boucle, sans que je puisse me logger.
Etant bloqué, j'ai cherché à installer un nouveau Ubuntu.
Ce que je sais sur le PC, c'est qu'il est assez récent avec :
- PC de type Notebook computer de marque "CLEVO CO" et modèle "N870 HK"
- 32 Go de RAM
- 500 Go de disque dur, environ
- ma carte graphique est : NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti major
Pour info, c'est la 1ère fois que j'installe Ubuntu mais je connais un peu les commandes de base Linux.
Cela fait une semaine que j'essaye d'installer Ubuntu LTS 16.04.3 avec une clé live USB de type SanDisk ultra USB 3.0
contenant la version : ubuntu-16.04.3-desktop-amd64.iso, téléchargée sur internet, à partir de : http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/releases/16.04.3/
Heureusement, j'ai réussi à sauvegarder les données initialement présentes sur le disque, d'abord simplement, le /home
copiant avec la commande "cp -R" grâce au mode console en recovery vers un disque dur.
Puis avec une autre copie de la totalité du disque, vers un autre disque dur externe que j'ai d'abord, formaté simplement en "ext4", avant de faire "cp -R"
J'ai choisi au final de mettre :
- une partition système de 30 Go
- partition EFI avec environ 250 Mo (cf recommendation vue dans certains de vos forums)
- une partition /home avec l'espace restant
- une partition "swap" de 30 Go (taille proche celle de ma RAM)
Je précise que quand je passe par l'assistant de partitions lors de l'installation,
je mets "montage" sur la racine / pour la partition "système" et "montage" sur le /home pour la partition /home, avec le formatage qui a été coché pour ces 2 partitions.
J'ai utilisé l'option : "Autre chose" qui me semblait plus adaptée à ce que je voulais faire, tout en ayant compris un peu tardivement, que je devais
créer une partition de type EFI, mais ceci n'est pas encore très clair pour moi (d'ailleurs je précise que j'ai du mettre le disque au format GPT en utilisant Gparted ou un autre utilitaire en lignes de commande)
En effet, mon BIOS possède actuellement, un BOOT en EFI vs un BOOT sur mon disque dur.
Et il me semble que pour démarrer sur ma clé "live USB", j'utilise plutôt la priorité BOOT en EFI
alors que pour démarrer sur le disque dur, je dois mettre la priorité BOOT sur disque dur.
Suite à mes derniers tests d'installation, j'ai l'écran violet figé.
Sachant que pour :
- l'environnement en mode "Try ubuntu without installing" a l'air normal au départ avec les commandes sur le terminal OK, sauf que quand je clique sur "system settings" (icone avec l'écrou + clé), rien ne s'ouvre !
- autre remarque : j'ai un message bizarre juste après avoir tapé "Try ubuntu without installing" : 4 lignes affichées temporairement en haut à gauche de l'écran, avec :
ACPI Error, ACPI Exception, ACPI Exception et ACPI Error sur chaque ligne
- avec une installation normale, j'ai obtenu l'écran violet
- avec une installation en étant passé par "Try ubuntu without installing" + taper "e" + changer la fin de la 2ème ligne "... quiet splash ---" par "... nomodeset", j'ai obtenu l'écran violet

Y-a-t'il quelqu'un parmi les spécialistes pour me donner un coup de main ?
Au moins, pour me dire d'abord, si :
- le partitionnement de mon unique disque dur "sda" est correct ?
- et si mon utilisation d'une partition "EFI" est appropriée ?
