commande sudo apt update qui fonctionne mal
Bonjour,
J'ai un petit soucis quand je tape la commande sudo apt-get update. Ça m'embête parce que je n'arrive plus à télécharger quoi que ce soit : notamment "sudo apt install openjdk-8-jre openjdk-8-jdk" pour installer le compilateur java ... Bref je suis bloqué et pour le moment je ne peux pas coder de java

C'est quoi tous ces zesty ? Si tu es en 17.04, cette version est obsolète et n'est plus soutenue.

Alors justement je n'arrive pas à faire la mise à jour, comment je pourrais faire ?

Bonjour 
Regarde le lien 1 de ma discussion adressé aux débutants. Tu ne le sas sans doute pas, mais la version 17.04 que tu as installée n'était maintenue que 9 mois. Ce sont des versions déconseillées aux débutants pour cette raison. (Cet avertissement n'est pas assez mis en avant visiblement... 
)
Du coup, lasolution la plus simple est que tu ré-installe complètement la version 18.04.1 LTS, qui elle, est maintenue jusqu'en 2023, voire 2028. Donc tu seras tranquille et à jour pendant toute cette période.

Tu n'aurais jamais dû installer la 17.04 Savast, les versions à court terme ne sont pas fait pour être utilisé longtemps.
Tu dois installer la 18.04 directement sans passer par une procédure de mise à niveau.
En plus tu ne t'aperçois de ton problème de maj que maintenant alors que la 17.04 est obsolète depuis Janvier 2018 c'est à dire depuis 1 an !
ça veux dire que depuis 1 an, tu n'a fais aucune mise a jour, tu n'a rien installé et tu as une vieille version obsolète de firefox.

Merci pour ces conseils, je comprend mieux pourquoi je n'arrive pas à faire la maj firefox, du système, ...

Actuellement les versions supportés sont :
- 14.04 jusqu'à Avril 2019 (donc ne vaut plus le coup)
- 16.04 jusqu'à Avril 2021
- 18.04 jusqu'à Avril 2023
- 18.10 jusqu'à Juillet 2019
C'est donc la 18.04 avec laquelle tu sera tranquille le plus longtemps bien que la 18.10 soit plus récente.
Une version à court terme c'est pour ceux qui veulent avoir un système avec les derniers paquets et qui ne sont pas gêné pour mettre à niveau tous les 6 mois.

Et après ta réinstallation, n'active plus jamais les dépôts proposed, hautement toxiques.
Par contre tu peux activer les dépôts partenaires de canonical.
