[Abandonné] Installation de Meshroom inaboutie (Ubuntu 16.04)

Bonjour Forum,

J'essaie d'installer Meshroom sur ma machine, mais je n'y arrive pas. J'ai suivi les explication que donne cette page, mais rien y fait. Pouvez-vous m'aider ?

Bonjour Mélanie,

Si tu souhaites refaire les modèles 3D comme la vidéos des frères poulain, tu peux directement le télécharger sur le site officiel de Meshroom et le décompresser dans ton dossier HOME.
C'est le plus simple je pense.
Sinon précise un minima ou tu bloques ou bien quelle erreur tu trouves.

Bonjour Hélias, merci pour ton aide.
Oui, exactement. J'ai bien téléchargé le fichier en tar.gz, l'ai décompressé dans mon dossier personnel et ai bien vu meshroom, mais il ne se lance pas lorsque je double-clique dessus. J'ai vérifié qu'il était exécutable... rien à l'écran.

Il est dit sur le lien #1 (en anglais) qu'il faut installer les dépendances et ensuite compiler. Tu l'as fait ?

Bonjour helias et yano1966, je suis désolée de reprendre le fil si tardivement, mais le boulot commande...

#helias : j'ai bien tenté de lancer Meshroom depuis le terminal, rien ne se produit sinon que j'obtiens un laconique "commande introuvable", y compris si je lance le terminal depuis le dossier. En double-cliquant sur Meshroom (il n'y a pas d'extension au fichier) directement, j'obtiens une fenêtre vierge nommée "Untitled - Meshromm 2019.1.0" pour laquelle il n'y a aucun menu, ni possibilité d'interagir.
Ah si, je viens d'essayer "Ctrl+N" et Meshroom me propose ouvrir un fichier... là, je suis bloquée.
Merci de votre aide.

Bonjour Mélanie,

Une fois que ton dossier et dans ton dossier home, il faut que dans un terminal tu ailles dans ton dossier meshroom

cd Meshroom-2019.1.0/

une fois dedans tu devras le lancer comme suit :

./Meshroom

hm... as tu l'accélération graphique d'activé ?
Qu'as tu comme carte graphique ?
As tu aussi "pyOpenGL " d'installer ?

... oui, j'ai l'accélération graphique activée. Ma carte graphique est une GeForce GT 730 avec cuda d'installé. Je viens d'installer "python-opengl", qui ne l'était pas.
Depuis hier, j'ai vu de nettes améliorations. Je peux lancer le logiciel par le terminal par cette commande :

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/nvidia-384 ./Meshroom

Mais je n'arrive jamais au bout des processus, car le logiciel m'annonce un "segmentation fault". Je tâtonne et tente divers issues glanées ça et là.
Je viens d'essayer de lancer Meshroom directement depuis son dossier, mais rien n'a changé, il m'affiche toujours une fenêtre noire.
As-tu une autre suggestion, helias ?

Ma configuration :
CM : Asus M4A77TD
Proc. : AMD Athlon II X4 645
CG : GeForce GT 730
Ram : 32 G
Disque system : SSD 60 g
Home : SSD 500 g

Salut Mélanie,

Ce qui est certain, c'est que la fenêtre noir est un problème dû a tes pilotes graphiques.
Par contre le fait d'indiquer l'emplacement comme tu l'as fait aurait dû régler le problème...

Puis dans ton second post, j'ai l'impression qu'il fait son taff, mais qu'il n'arrive pas a identifié la focal de tes photo, comme si il n'y avait pas de Méta-données ...
Très étrange.
La plupart du temps un " segmentation fault " signifie qu'un logiciel essaye d'accéder a une partie mémoire dont il n'a pas accès normalement...
Est ce que tu as plusieurs DD ? genre un stockage et un SSD et est ce que les photos sont bien au même endroit ?

J'imagine aussi que du Ubuntu QT5 est installé de base ? ( me souviens plus ... ), à vérifier... ça ne fait pas de mal.

Et puis ça ne coûte rien mais peux tu renommer ton dossier " Meshroom-2019.1.0 " en " Meshroom" aussi ? et voir si ça arrange ?

Je vais essayer de mon côté de l'installer et de faire des test et je reviendrais vers toi si je trouve une piste sérieuse.

Bonjour Helias,

Indiquer l'emplacement avant de lancer Meshroom résout une partie de mes problèmes... Sauf que je dois le signifier à chaque fois. Je sais que l'on peut inscrire cette information "dans le dur", mais je ne sais pas comment faire et cela me parait accessoire, pour l'instant.
Pour la focale des photos : j'ai réalisé une vidéo avec une GoPro en 720 100 i/s, puis j'ai réalisé une capture des les plans qui me semblaient utiles ; c'est pour cela qu'il n'y a pas de métadonnées.
Oui, j'ai cinq ou six disques durs. Un SSD pour le système et le swap, un autre pour le Home, et le reste pour le stockage... musique, films,etc. Les photos sont toutes au même endroit et sur le même disque (Home) que Meshroom.

J'ai pris l'option de faire une mise à niveau vers la 18.04. J'y perdrais quelques ergonomies, comme Compiz, mais tant pis. On verra bien si cela fonctionne. Si la mise à niveau ne résout pas mon problème, alors je ferai une ré-installation d'Ubuntu avec la release 19.04, que j'aime bien.
Pour l'instant, il y a un verrou exclusif, donc je ne peux rien faire. Je reviens vers toi pour la suite.

... j'ai utilisé une GoPro parce qu'un appareil photo ne rentre pas. L'accès au "site" mesure 6 cm de coté.

Un open-source qui fonctionnerai bien sous Windows et Mac, mais pas sous Linux ??!!

... bon, ben, j'ai ré-installé Ubuntu, 19.04 et fait un test de Meshroom, qui se lance sans problème cette fois, mais toujours cette erreur de "segmentation default". Voilà ce que m'affiche "dmesg" :

Bonjour, après de nombreux essais je suis parvenu à installer et lancer meshroom. Je ne connais pas la différence avec AliceVision. Je suis sous xubuntu 18.04.2. Je suis passé par ce site https://github.com/alicevision/meshroom/releases.
La première fois celà n'a pas fonctionné mais peut-être qu'après les essais avec AliceVision et micmac j'ai installé une dépendance manquante. Je n'en suis qu'à glisse/déposer un fichier photos. En espérant vous être utile.
Malheureusement je ne sais pas insérer une capture d'écran.

Je viens de faire un essai avec le set de photos gravillons de micmac (il n'y a que 4 photos), c'est magique et beaucoup plus rapide que micmac.

Bon alors je tiens quelques choses... enfin j'imagine.
Si tu arrives a lancer Meshroom et faire un glisser/déposer de tes photos c'est déjà pas mal.
Puisqu'au final j'avais sans cesse l'erreur " segmentation default ( core dumped )" .

Je me suis dis que ça devait être les photos ... J'en ai changé, mis beaucoup moins. Et là miracle, il va jusqu'au bout sans poser de questions.... neutral
Essaye de faire un test avec quelque photos ( nombre réduit ).

Edit: bon par contre le résultat est vraiment dégueu... sad

J'ai refait un essai avec 30 photos, c'est toujours bon. Il est précisé dans le about meshroom version 2019.1.0 que le noyau linux utilisé est le 4.15.0-52. Mes résultats ne sont pas terribles non plus. Des règlages peut-être?
Il y a un min Images per Step initialisé à 4.

j'essaye actuellement avec des clichés pris avec mon tel portable a 48Mpx voir ... J'en ai 24.
Je te dirais ce que ça donne.
