Installation Ubuntu sur HP Pavilion - 15-bc506nf
Bonjour,
Je viens d'acheter un ordinateur portable HP Pavilion - 15-bc506nf, et je souhaite y installer en dual boot Ubuntu. J'ai donc commencé à activer le legacy support et desactiver le le secure support dans le bios. J'ai ensuite boot sur ma clé USB contenant l'OS. Le début de l'installation marche très bien, mais au bout d'environ 1 minute, l'installation plante, et je suis obligé de l'éteindre en appuyant sur le bouton de démarage... J'ai essayé avec plusieurs versions d'Ubuntu, et ai le même problème... Il semblerait qu'il y ait un blocage par l'UEFI...
Auriez-vous des idées de comment contourner cela ?

Peux-tu nous faire un boot-info depuis une session live ? https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/boot-info
J'ai ma petite idée du problème ceci dit : S'il y a déjà un OS installé en UEFI et que tu veux installer Ubuntu en dual-boot, je pense qu'il ne faut pas activer le legacy support. Car pour un dual-boot, les deux OS doivent être installés de la même manière (les deux en UEFI ou les deux en legacy.)

Je n'arrive pas à faire de boot-info car en fait, même quand je lance le try Ubuntu, au bout d'environ 1 minute, tout se fige à part la souris et je ne peux cliquer sur rien. Du coup ce n'est pas spécifique à l'installation apparemment... J'ai essayé d'activer ou de désactiver le legacy support, mais j'ai toujours le même problème...

Je vois que tu as une CG nVidia nécessitant sans doute un pilote. peux-tu installer le paramètre nomodeset au noyau Linux pour voir déjà si le try ubuntu (=la session live) démarre.

Bonjour,
Si nomodeset ne donne pas de résultat, essaye avec modprobe.blacklist=nouveau
Une fois que ton installation sera faite, il te faudra installer le pilote propriétaire nVidia (Gestionnaire de mises à jour, Paramètres, Pilotes additionnels).
Toujours une fois que ton installation est faite, pourrais tu donner le retour de :

En gras, tu veux faire un dual-boot win/buntu mais comment sais-tu que ton win est installé en mode legacy ?
La règle est simple :
- win en legacy, buntu aussi
- win en uefi, buntu aussi
Selon le cas de win (uefi/legacy) tu dois booter ton support buntu selon le cas de win.
Pour ta CG Nvidia, c'est une entrave mineure sans rapport avec la réalisation d'un dual-boot !

Merci de votre aide, au final j'ai lancer le Try Ubuntu en mode nomodeset et j'ai ensuite pus installer l'OS.
