Disque dur externe non détecté Ubuntu 18.04 [RÉSOLU]

Bonjour tout le monde,

Je débute complètement avec Ubuntu, j'ai installé la version 18.04 après avoir passé des années sous Windows et je suis plutôt perdue... notamment concernant mon disque dur externe. Il fonctionne parfaitement sous Windows, et maintenant que je suis passée sous Ubuntu quand je le branche la LED s'allume, le disque tourne mais il est indétectable. Comment faire pour corriger ça sans perdre toutes les données qui se trouvent dessus ?

Salut,

Il est possible que ton disque externe soit formaté en Exfat. Pour le savoir, branche ton disque externe, si ce n'est déjà fait, et entre cette commande dans un terminal :

sudo parted /dev/sda print all

Donne le retour entre balises code : bouton au dessus de la zone de réponse.

Au vu des messages d'erreurs lors des tentatives d'accès au disque externe, je doute que l'on puisse faire grand chose.

Si tu arrives à l'accéder sous Windows, je te conseille d'en sauver le contenu sur un autre disque dur en bon état.

Zut d'accord merci. Donc je sauvegarde tout sur Windows et ensuite je peux créer une autre partition sur mon DDE pour Ubuntu (qui me permettrait de naviguer entre Windows et Ubuntu, ou seulement sur Ubuntu) ou c'est même pas possible ?

Tu sauvegardes ce que tu peux de ton disque externe et tu le mets à la déchetterie. Ton disque est, pour moi, plus dans un état qui te permette de l'utiliser. Trop d'erreurs de lecture/écriture.

Oula d'accord. Est-ce que tu saurais dire à quoi c'est dû ? Histoire d'éviter de refaire les mêmes erreurs. Parce que je l'ai pas depuis si longtemps et je suis loin de l'utiliser tous les jours.

Je ne peux savoir à quoi ce problème est dû.

Si ton disque est toujours sous garantie, contacte le vendeur pour qu'il te le remplace.

Je me rends compte que je n'ai jamais clôturé ce sujet.
Si jamais ça peut servir à quelqu'un-e :
J'ai vidé entièrement mon DDE sur un ordinateur Windows.
J'ai remarqué que mon DDE était détectable avec Ubuntu dans le logiciel GParted. J'ai donc supprimé l'ancienne partition et en ai créé une nouvelle.
Ensuite j'ai récupéré tous mes fichiers depuis l'ordinateur Windows avec une clé USB pour les transférer via mon ordinateur Ubuntu sur mon DDE.

Tout fonctionne parfaitement !
