[Résolu] [Debian] Impossible de démarrer le serveur X
Bonjour.
Je viens d'installer debian etch en dual boot avec Ubuntu sur mon ordinateur portable. L'installation c'est bien passé, le problème se situe au niveau des drivers de ma carte graphique NVidia GeForce 8400m GS.
Quand je démarre debian, je reçoit le message en console :
(EE) NV(0): No display device found
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration
Et bien sur je reste en console.
J'ai essayé de mettre le driver vesa, j'obtiens un écran noir et je ne peut rien faire.
J'ai vu sur le site de nvidia que le driver pour ma carte graphique est présent, j'ai essayé de l'installer sans succès (pour l'instant) : il me met des erreurs du genre 'kernel ..... not found'
Y-a-t'il possibilité d'installer le pilote via un paquet (nvidia-glx-new sous Ubuntu) ?
Sinon, à la limite ça ne me dérange pas trop d'utiliser le driver libre si quelqu'un sait comment démarrer avec...

Bon, finalement, j'ai installé debian lenny et je n'ai plus de problème. Reste à mettre en place le wifi.
[edit] Voilà j'ai réussi à installer ma carte wifi, je suis maintenant en dual boot debian/ubuntu. Que le meilleur des 2 gagne mon utilisation au quotidien !
