[RESOLU]pas de GRUB suite installation d'UBUNTU 20.04 LTS en dual boot

Bonjour.
Je viens d'installer Ubuntu 20.04 LTS en dual boot sur mon nouveau PC, un MSI. Chose étrange je n'ai pas l’écran de connexion Grub, - habituel pourtant en mode dual avec Windows.
J'ai glané çà et là des tuyaux sur la toile : par lignes de commande, par la clé USB live d'Ubuntu et aussi par l'utilitaire de réparation de boot. Rien n'y fait, aucune méthode ne fonctionne ! Le Grub ne s'installe pas.
Sur d'autres PC j'ai pourtant réussi à résoudre des problèmes de disparition du Grub grâce notamment au réparateur de démarrage : en bootant sur une clé USB. Là, non!
Bon, en attendant je peux toujours ouvrir une session Linux... en passant par la touche F11 (sélectionneur de démarrage sur les MSI) au moment du démarrage du PC.
J'ignore totalement quelle est la cause de ce problème. Le nouveau PC ? Ou la dernière version d’Ubuntu?

Bonjour

Avez-vous installé Ubuntu sur le même disque que  Windows, ou sur un disque différent ? Si deux disque différents, changer l'ordre de démarrage des disques dans le Bios pour mettre en premier le disque supportant Ubuntu.

Bonjour.
Peux-tu publier le résultat d'un boot-info qui permettra de savoir si tu as bien installé en dual boot  ( soit en EFI soit en LEGACY)  mais  pas en panachage?

Peux-tu donner la référence commerciale de ton MSI afin de voir s'il existe des cas semblables connus?

Peux-tu aussi refaire un boot-repair et publier son compte rendu? Cela devrait permettre de savoir pourquoi le grub ne s'est pas installé.

Réponses à vos questions:

En changeant l'ordre de démarrage dans le BIOS évidemment le PC démarre sur UBUNTU. Mais cela ne résout pas l'absence de la page de démarrage Grub, bien pratique, elle.

[*]Oui, Ubuntu est bien installé en UEFI sur une partition vierge à part. Sauf que cette fois Windows n'a pas crée en revanche une mini partition pour Ubuntu UEFI comme d'habitude. Je peux bien choisir l'ordre de démarrage manuellement, au coup par coup à chaque démarrage via F11. Mais cette procédure n'est pas pérenne.[/*]

... le topo ?  je n'ai jamais eu besoin de faire ces manips sur mes PC auparavant, ni avec les versions Ubuntu 14, 16 puis 18.

Comme tu  pratiques le boot-repair, je n'avais jugé utile de  t'expliquer comment faire un boot-info

je pense que le problème vient de là :

... mais je ne sais pas comment changer çà en "unsecure mode" . et d'ailleurs pourquoi une telle manip? pas vu çà sur d'autres engins.

Le problème ne vient pas du secure boot.
le problème vient probablement de cette option

En espérant que tu ne te retrouves pas alors dans ce contexte.

En fait, en examinant un peu plus attentivement la séquence de démarrage après avoir changé l'ordre de boot dans le BIOS, (donc démarrage sur Ubuntu) j'ai bien un Grub ! Il est un peu différent des versions/machines précédentes. Cette fois la page de sélection de démarrage est sur fond noir! Et je peux effectivement choisir de démarrer sur Windows. De mémoire, modifiable via Terminal.
