[Resolu] Webcams sur Ubuntu Jaunty

Après avoir fait une mise à jour d Intrepid vers Jaunty, ma webcam ne fonctionne plus avec Cheese ou amsn...
Le problème rencontré ne vient pas ici de la webcam (creative notebook dans mon cas), elle fonctionnait avant.
En fait ma Jaunty utilise le noyau linux-image-2.6.28-4-generic, avec gspca-modules utilisé habituellement : il y a les sources mais pour aujourd hui pas de binaires. Je n ai pas réussi ni pour la compilation de gspca-modules / ni l installation d easycam. Quelqu un a-t-il déjà fait fonctionner sa webcam avec gspca et Ubuntu Jaunty ?

Je pense que j aurai peut-être du patienter un peu avant cette upgrade, pour le reste tout à l air de bien fonctionner... Vous avez peut-être quelques pistes à proposer ici SVP...

Par exemple dans mon cas avec 1 webcam creative, j arrive ICI pour récupérer les sources.
Pour ma distrib cet une upgrade d Intrepid vers Jaunty donc mon sources.list est un peu exotique mais doit contenir de bonnes adresses ; sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list :

Ca fait quand même sous Linux deux webcams Creative et une Hercules que j achète et ou je dois souvent bricoler.

Dans OpenSource magazine N°18 en page 6, un article décrit la webcam Quickcam Vision Pro Mac de Logitech et indique que ce modèle ne réclame que le branchement du cable usb pour fonctionner. Est-ce que ce serait le cas ici pour ma configuration ?
J'envisage d'acheter peut-être une autre webcam et je me posait la question si les modèles de webcam avec une interface ethernet (plus chère) étaient aussi difficiles ou plus pratiques à faire fonctionner.
Le problème avec le reverse-engineering c'est que les usagés bossent toujours à la place des fabriquants de matériel

Après plusieurs essais, j'ai finalement réssit à compiler le source :
for kernel up from 2.6.11 : gspcav1-20071224.tar.gz
et après reboot du PC ma webcam creative notebook model N° VF0250 fonctionne sur /dev/video1 le model creative notebook model N° PD1170 sur /dev/video0 n'est pas passé mais bon j'ai encore une webcam qui marche avec cheese
comme ça :

make install

Ça n était pas bien passé au début alors je ne sais pas ce qu il avait.
J espère avoir laissé quand même quelques informations utiles au passage car j'étais trop impatient

à mon avis, le kernel 2.6.28-4 de l'installation Kubuntu (Ubuntu jaunty (development branch), kernel 2.6.28-4-generic) actuelle a déjà les modules gspca avec car l'une de mes trois caméras réagit au test de skype: j'apparais tout verdâtre comme l'abat-jour de ma lampe de bureau, lentement et avec beaucoup de friture!

mais il n'identifie pas les caméras et donc ne reconnaît pas les 2 autres, dont l'une, celle avec le micro intégré, n'est jamais reconnue par linux.

est-il alors conseillable de rajouter un module externe?
