[Résolu] L'assertion « dependtry <= 4 » a échoué
Je suis sur Ubuntu 8.10 et j'ai ce problème, impossible de faire une mise à jour :

apt-get clean

apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
dpkg : erreur de traitement de po-debconf (--configure) :
le paquet po-debconf n'est pas prêt pour la configuration
configuration impossible (état actuel « triggers-awaited »)

E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg exited unexpectedlyJe me traine ce problème depuis un mois...

en gros tu récupère le ou les noms des paquets contenant des erreurs en faisant :
sudo dpkg -l | grep -v ^iiensuite
sudo dpkg --purge remove [nom-du_paquet]ubuntu gusty

J'ai trouvé une solution qui a fonctionnée pour moi ici : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?pid=2392192
En gros vous taper ca :
sudo aptitude reinstallet cherchez la ligne listant les paquets ayant ce problème :
Les paquets partiellement installés suivants seront configurés :
gxine libxine1 libxine1-console libxine1-ffmpeg libxine1-gnome libxine1-misc-plugins libxine1-plugins libxine1-xDésinstallez les avec cette commande :
sudo dpkg -r gxine libxine1 libxine1-console libxine1-ffmpeg libxine1-gnome libxine1-misc-plugins libxine1-plugins libxine1-xIl vous dira peut-être que certains paquets dépendent de ceux que vous voulez désinstaller :
dpkg : un problème de dépendance empêche la suppression de libxine1 :
totem-xine dépend de libxine1 (>= 1.1.8).
amarok-engine-xine dépend de libxine1 (>= 1.1.8).
miro dépend de libxine1 (>= 1.1.8).
Supprimez les aussi avec la commande 'dpkg -r'.
Pour moi, ça a bien marché, mais s'il commence à dire qu'il y a des problèmes de dépendence trop importants qui vous feraient supprimer trop de paquets... je conseille pas de les virer... Faut voir.
Vu que le problème est arrivé à plusieurs personnes ces jours ci, ça concernait les mêmes paquets, pour vous ?
Et bien sûr, maintenant que les paquets mal configurés sont désinstallés, il ne reste plus qu'à les réinstaller !
Re-faîtes un
sudo aptitude reinstallpour vérifier qu'il n'y a plus de problèmes, puis réinstaller tous ceux que vous avez désinstallés :
sudo aptitude install gxine libxine1 libxine1-console libxine1-ffmpeg libxine1-gnome libxine1-misc-plugins libxine1-plugins libxine1-x totem-xine amarok-engine-xine miro amarokHourra.
