RaLink RT2561/RT61 + WPA (abandonné)
Salut,
J'essaie de configurer correctement une RaLink RT2561/RT61 sous Ubuntu 8.10 sans y arriver...
Hier j'ai essayé de suivre quelques tutos trouvés ici et là mais sans succès.
Je pense que le problème vient de la clé WPA...(cette carte marchait assez bien avant..). Depuis que j'ai mis cette clé, je ne peux plus me connecter.. La force du signale est aussi très faible alors que je suis juste à côté du routeur.
Je ne sais pas tellement quoi faire...
Y a-t-il seulement une solution ?

Pour ton pb de WPA, le plus simple est d'utiliser RutilT qui est un utilitaire "spécial" pour les carte à base de chipset Ralink. Rutilt est dispo via synaptic

pour ton pb de faible signal, les module (ou driver si tu prefere) sont pas au top, mieux vaut en changer

De rien...c'est que du "copier-coller", difficile de faire plus simple...
pour le tuto Rutilt, t'es pas obligé de le suivre (ce sera moins pratique, car Rutilt demandra les mot de passe quand tu voudra configurer ta connexion), sinon tu peux te contenter de l'installer via synaptic...
hésite pas à donner un retour...

Sur l'icône RutilT, ça donne à peu près ça :

C'est mieux au niveau du signal. Mais je sais pas comment poursuivre pour la connexion..
[Edit] mmhh... IP adresse N/A...
et il n'y a rien sous l'onglet Profiles
[Edit2] C'est bon pour la connexion... Il faut juste entrer la clé quand on veut se connecter. Par contre, comment conserver les paramètres après chaque démarrages et est-ce qu'on peut faire en sorte que RutilT démarre tout seul en même temps que le système et lance la connexion automatiquement ?
[Edit3] Bah ça marche déjà plus...:/ RutilT se connecte et se déconnecte chaque 3 secondes... en montrant un signal de 89 % quand il est connecté..puis..déconnecté...puis reconnecté 3 secondes...etc.. Et il y a une nouvelle fois N/A à côté de IP Address

pour que Rutilt fasse tout automatiquement dès le demarrage et sans la demande du mot de passe, il faut suivre le tuto Rutilt donné plus haut.
sinon, il faut créer un profil avec les information qui vont bien pour te connecter a ta borne, et tu l'applique, une fois que la connexion aura étée établie avec succes, RutilT sauvegardera ton profil.
enfin, si tu est en DHCP (attribution automatique de l'adresse IP par ton routeur wifi), édite ton fichier /etc/network/interfaces
sudo gedit /etc/network/interfaces
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
auto wlan0
iface wlan0 inet dhcp
Reboot, et cela devrait etre ok....Attention à ne plus se servir d'aucun outils réseau (network-manager en fait parti) car tous ces outils modifie le fichier /etc/network/interfaces...tu aura compris qu'il faut désactiver network-manager (menu système > Préferences > Sessions, decochez la case devant "network-manager") ou bien carrement le désintaller, au choix

Tout à été fait...
J'ai bcp de peine à choper du réseau...quand j'en ai le signal oscie entre 80 et 90 %, Rutilt ne se lance pas automatiquement, l'adresse IP apparait et disparait instantanément et l'ordi met une plombe à démarrer..:(

Tu as rebooter ppour finir de désactiver network-manager ?
moi aussi, j'ai le pb "connecté 3 secondes, puis déconnecter, etc", cela me fait cela quand je sors de veille par exemple parce que l'interface a été désactivé...
Bon, pour remédié a ce pb, voila ce que tu va faire :
démarrer Rutilt (si c'est pas deja fait)
Dans l'onglet "options", clique sur le bouton "up" (il va passer à "down") et surtout, il doit te demander le mot de passe, attend 2 secondes, puis re-clique sur "down" pour le faire passer à "up".
l'onglet "Site Survey", clique sur "scan", attend qu'il ai finit d'analyser les reseau à porté, puis selectionne ton réseau, puis clique sur "Add profile", puis dans la nouvelle fenetre qui vient de s'ouvrir, entre le mot de passe, le type de cryptage (attention moi, il me voyait un cryptage en WPA AES, alors que je suis en WPA TKIP) ; enfin toujours dans la même fenêtre, va dans l'onglet "IP setting" et coche "Automatic DHCP". vérifie bien tout tes parametres avant de valider en cliquant sur OK (la nouvelle fenetre se ferme et tu revient sur la precedente), enfin et surtout clique sur appliquer le profil... attends quelque secondes et si tout se passe bien, va sur l'onglet "Link Status", tu devrait voir que tu es associé à ta borne, et que tu as une ip (la ou tu avait N/A)
si tu réussi du premier coup, ferme Rutilt (cela laissera ta connexion wifi active) et cela sauvegardera ton profil... si cela marche pas car tu te serais trompé, il faudra refaire la manipulation "site survey" > "add profile" etc etc

Rien à faire...même en suivant à la lettre ce que tu me dis. J'ai essayé plusieurs fois...ça déconnecte...ça reconnecte quelques secondes après...etc..
Quand la connexion tient finalement, a peine je touche aux paramètre elle disparait et réapparait au bout d'un moment sans IP...c'est à se flinguer..
[Edit] Ok...maintenant ça marche alors que j'ai rien fait depuis 10 minutes..:o

Tu n'obtient pas d'ip pour cause, tu as fait une erreur de "copier-coller" avec ce que je t'avait demandé de faire
édite ton fichier interfaces
sudo gedit /etc/network/interfaces
j'ai ajouté 2 lignes pour que ce soit plus pratique pour toi, efface tout et remplace par ceci :
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp
auto wlan0
iface wlan0 inet dhcp
enregistre et ferme
pour faire plus propre :
edite le fichier modules
sudo gedit /etc/modules
supprime une des 2 lignes "rt61", enregistre et ferme
edite le fichier blacklist
sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist
supprime une des 2 lignes "blacklist rt61pci", enregistre, ferme.
tu as toujours network-manager qui fonctionne, désactive le :
menu Système > Préférences > Sessions, dans les programmes qui se lance au démarrage décocher la case "network-manager"
reboot, et test via Rutilt.

depuis Dapper Drake ! Ça rajeunit pas ^^^).

J'ai corrigé ce que tu m'as demandé et j'ai eu une ip à peu près 10 secondes, puis plus d'ip et retour au mode yo-yo entre connect et disconnect..:|
J'ai finalement désinstallé Network Manager mais il était déjà décoché dans les programmes de démarrage..
[Edit] En fait maintenant les choses se passent comme ça : Après un redémarrage, il se passe un long moment avant que le signal soit capté..quand il apparait il est stable à entre 80 et 90 % mais pas d'ip. Un moment après, l'ip apparait puis disparait presque aussitôt...

au démarrage, ouvre RutilT, clique sur "up" pour le faire passer à down (il doit te demander le mot de passe), puis re- clique sur down pour le faire passer a "up", enfin, selectionne ton profil, puis clique sur appliquer..si tu n'obtient pas d'ip ou que l'ip disparait, c'est que tu as une erreur dans ton profil.
