ma configuration:

Kubuntu 7.10 installé il ya juste quelques jours,

Matériel assé puissant au delà de la configuration recommendée.

Cela n'aide pas vraiment.
De toute façon Adept est une bouse infâme...
Tu dois tenter une mise à jour en ligne de commande :

sudo apt-get update

puis

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Tu peux en profiter pour installer Synaptic qui est plus stable et bien plus ergonomique qu'Adept (me si c'est une application GNOME) :

sudo apt-get install synaptic

Pour toute application qui crashe , le premier truc a faire est de relancer l'application dans un terminal, des messages d'erreurs plus explicites apparaitront.
Donc dans ton cas , tu ouvres un terminal (Konsole) et tu tapes

kdesudo adept

kdesudo c'est pour avoir les droits nécéssaires à l'utilisation d'Adept
