affichage limité à 800x600. Comment faire un rapport de bug ?
Depuis deux semaines, j'ai une machine qui refuse d'afficher dans une définition supérieure à 800x600.
La carte est une sis
lspci |grep -i vga
0 VGA compatible controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] 661/741/760 PCI/AGP or 662/761Gx PCIE VGA Display AdapterJ'étais sous hardy heron, j'en ai profité pour passer sous intrepid, sans aucun résultat.
La carte n'est pas reconnue, dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg me génère un xorg.conf minimal

J'ai installé Debian/etch sur une autre partition de la même machine.
le serveur X fonctionne correctement avec le xorg.conf automatiquement généré suivant:

debjjr@zoe:~$Cette fois, le « Device » sis est correctement détecté, et mon problème est résolu.
Il faudrait faire un rapport de bug, mais je ne sais pas quel est le package responsable. Comme le système graphique fonctionne sans autre changement que le xorg.conf, ce n'est pas à priori un problème de module, mais de package. Je ne sais pas lequel est responsable.
Donc comment faire un rapport de bug ?

Le développeur des modules est Thomas Winishhofer
Tu trouvera sur son site tout concernant la vidéo sur une carte sis.
J'ai eu ce problème sur une machine que j'avais en réparation, ce n'est pas la mienne.
