migration de ibex à jackalope, problème de fichier "status" corrompu

Bonjour,
A la base j'avais un prôblème d'installation de vlc dans ma migration d'ibex à jackalope, et visiblement cela viendrait d'un problème de corruption de mon fichier status; quans je fais

sudo apt-cache policy vlc

ça me fait

vlc:

  Candidat : (aucun)
  Étiquette de paquet : (non trouvé)

j'ai toujours le même souci d'installation de vlc, ça viens peut-être de ce fameux fichier "status", quelqu'un peut-il m'aider car je désespére?
