Installation sur Amilo Xa 2528-P5311

Bonjour,
Téléchargement complet sans aucun souci de mon côté. Merci The Deceiver.
Etant nouveau sous Ubuntu, j'ai installé la dernière version officielle mais j'ai des problèmes avec le wifi.
Donc j'ai décidé de téléchargé la version de The Deceiver.
Faut-il une config spéciale pour cette version ou est-elle compatible avec tous processeur et matériel ?

Merci pour la réponse mais cela je m'en doutais puisque c'est le PC que j'ai et que l'on ai dans la rubrique "Installation sur Amilo Xa 2528-P5311".

C'était au cas ou tout les Xa2528 ne sont pas installé de la même façon.
Par exemple j'ai un processeur AMD Turion 64*2 avec 1 carte graphique nvidia et peut être que certains PC ont d'autres caractéristiques.
Donc je voulais savoir si la version de The Deceiver était "universelle" (si je peux me permettre) au niveau des Xa2528

bah il a recompilé le kernel pour prendre en charge le lecteur dvd qui semble être le même hélas chez tout le monde ^^ le reste étant ce que tu trouves en natif chez ubuntu... moi je sais que sur mon amilo, je n'avais plus besoin de ndis pour le wifi, il s'est mis à fonctionner en natif apres je ne sais plus qu'elle update du kernel.

En effet j'ai juste recompilé le kernel pour prendre en charge le lecteur (qui est apparement installé sur toutes les variantes du Xa 2528), j'ai aussi installé les pilotes pour les cartes Wifi SiS163 (ce qui est mon cas), je sais que ce n'est pas le modèle installé partout, donc pour ceux qui ne sont pas concerné vous pouvez supprimé ndiswrapper normalement. ^^

Salut,

J'ai utilisé ton iso pour installer sur le portable de mon pote, nickel pour l'install et le réseau wifi.

PAr contre la carte vidéeo nVidia ... pas moyen, quand je vais dans la liste des pilotes, on voit bien qu'il ne charge pas les piotes nVidia.
Et pourtant ils sont installés.
Je suis preneur d'un suggestion.

Tiens pendant que j'y pense, quelqu'un a le même soucis de boot que moi ?

J'ai une pause de 8 secondes environ entre grub et usplash et c'est assez dommage pour la 9.04 qui est axé sur la rapidité du boot....

Chez moi ça marche Tu devrais peut-être essayer de virer les options quiet et splash au niveau du boot de grub pour voir ce qui se passe vraiment et savoir pourquoi ça bloque. Il se peut que ce soit DHCP si tu n'est pas en IP fixe et que ton routeur/box met beaucoup de temps à répondre.

Je ne le met pas en integralité, c'est ici que ça se passe. C'est sur les trois dernieres lignes que le temps est long je pense. Je ne suis pas vraiment sur d'avoir identifié la bonne chose, c'etait assez simple avec uspash puisque c'etait entre Grub et son demarrage mais sans ça, je suis un peu perdu...

Je n'ai pas de pause à ce moment là du démarrage alors que toi tu prend pratiquement 8/9 secondes dessus. Il y a bien un bug :

Qui vient du fait que l'Amilo Xa 2528 n'aime pas Linux mais le système ne devrais pas s'arrêter dessus. Est-ce que tu as passé des options spéciales au noyau ?

Je peut pas plus t'aider, j'ai le noyau de base de Ubuntu en amd64 (pas réussi à le recompiler pour avoir le lecteur DVD). Il faudrait le dmesg d'un autre utilisateur du même noyau pour faire la comparaison.

Un bug sur mon kernel? arf... pas remarqué perso, j'pensais avoir tout bien fait sur ce coup pourtant, sinon j'suis entrain de faire un tit script bash pour facilité la recompilation des futurs kernels (puisqu'apparement la 9.10 ne sera toujours pas la bonne pour ce portable ... )

Pour ceux que ça interesserait, j'ai mit la main sur un pilote qui arrive à faire fonctionner la Webcam à peu près correctement (me demandez pas comment, impossible de le retrouver la ou je l'avais eu la première fois )

On extrait l'archive :

On se met dans le dossier :

On compile :

make

On installe :

sudo make install

On met à jour le pilote :

sudo modprobe -r gspca_m5602 && sudo modprobe gspca_m5602

On test avec :

gstreamer-properties

Et si tout va bien, dans l'onglet Vidéo, en selectionnant USB2.0 Camera dans les Périphérique d'entrée et en cliquant sur Test, on voit sa bouille à l'écran en couleur ^^

Parcontre impossible de compiler et installer le dernier kernel (2.6.28-13) sans avoir une erreur avec dpkg, il n'y a qu'à moi que cela arrive?

Well, I will summarize the situation with regard to my case, but I have not tested, just the essential for me, ie the dvd-drive, the webcam, sound card and wifi (only SiS163u chipset) (the graphics card is well supported with the 9.04, I don't talk about it ^ ^ )

For the dvd-drive: you have to recompile the kernel with IDECD and AMD74XX to activate (not module)

For the webcam is explained in my previous message

And the sound card; it was necessary to add "options snd-hda-intel position_fix=1 model=6stack-dig" in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf for me (P5811).
For others ,it "options snd-hda-intel model=3stack-dig" who run the card correctly ,will be see like kid of model (P5311 or P5811)

Finally the wifi, only with cards SiS163u, install ndiswrapper and drivers for Windows 98 (for me that Windows XP does not work)
