Bonjour,

en rentrant de vacances, je veux faire mes mises à jour, et voilà ce que me dit le gestionnaire :

E: Encountered a section with no Package: header
E: Problem with MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/fr.archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_jaunty-updates_restricted_binary-amd64_Packages
E: Impossible d'ouvrir ou d'analyser le fichier contenant la liste des états ou celui des paquets disponibles.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

Idem en lançant Synaptic.

Y a-t-il une commande pour reconstruire la liste des états ?

Salut,

Va voir ici:

Tu fais partie du cas #2 et la solution à ton problème passe par la saisie dans un terminal des commandes suivantes:

sudo rm /var/lib/apt/list/* -vf
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

Salut,

C'est curieux parce que là, ton message est identique à ce qui est écrit. Je me demande s'il n'y a pas un espace de trop devant le -vf à la fin. Si tu n'a pas fait un copier/coller de la première ligne refait l'opération dans un terminal mais cette fois avec un copier/coller de la première ligne de code c'est-à  dire:

sudo rm /var/lib/apt/list/* -vf

Non, j'avais bien fait un copier coller : je suis fainéant !
C'est bizarre, le message d'erreur me parle de playonlinux : or il n'est pas installé, et ni dans mes dépôts. Voici mon sources.list :

Ou alors, redémarrer après avoir supprimé tout ce qu'il y a dans /var/lib/apt/list ?

Salut,

C'est une idée, va dans /var/lib/apt/list et supprime le ou les fichiers qui ont trait à playonlinux et refait un update. Poste le message que ça donne.

Je crois qu'il faudra que tu fasses un peu de ménage dans ton sources.list en le remettant comme à l'origine comme tu le disais si bien toi-même.

Si ça marche toujours pas on verra.

à "sudo rm /var/lib/apt/list/* -vf" il manquait un s à list !!
