Plus de Windows Seven après l'installation d'Ubuntu
Bonjour tout le monde,
avant d'installer ubuntu, j'avais windows 7 RC et vista sur mon ordinateur. J'ai remplacer Vista (qui est mon OS d'origine) par ubuntu. Après le redémarrage de mon PC, je pensais avoir le chois entre Seven et ubuntu mais ce ne fut malheureusement pas le cas, je n'ai plus que Ubuntu. Grub ne me propose rien d'autre. J'ai tester de mettre à jour la liste des OS avec OS-prober (ou un truc du même genre). Toujours rien
Je crois que l'installation de Grub (grub2 pour moi) à dû se faire dans le MBR et donc à remplacé le truc pour sélectionner son Windows. C'est ça hein ?
Windows 7 est sur le Sda 5.
Je ne sait pas quoi faire pour avoir un dual boot :s

Combien as-tu de disques durs ?
Windows 7 et Ubuntu sont-ils sur le même (2 partitions) ?
As-tu perdu des données avec ou Windows 7 se trouvait sur un disque/une partition propre ?

Évidement que Grub doit être dans le MBR, mais il y a aussi une section demarrage dans chaque partition. Si Grub n'y a pas touché on peut s'en sortir.
Il nous manque des infos pour pouvoir t'aider efficacement. Dans le meilleur des cas, il suffit d'un edit dans /boot/grub/menu.lst.
Dans le pire des cas il faudra que tu répare la section démarrage à l'aide du CD de windows, puis reinstaller manuellement GRUB, (ce qui n'est pas nécessairement difficile).
Bon assez parlé donne nous le resultat du script qui se trouve à http://sourceforge.net/projects/bootinfoscript/
Ceci contient tout ce que nous avons besoin de savoir.

Alors, je n'ai qu'un disque dur.
J'ai encore accès à tous les fichier de mon Win7 grâce à nautilus.
Pour grub2, c'est pas plutôt grub.conf ?
