Comment passer de Desktop 8.04 à Server 8.04?
Bonjour
J'ai un serveur en Ubuntu 8.04 Desktop et j'aimerais virer l'envirronnement graphique et tout ce qui ne sert pas lié a la version Desktop pour obtenir une version sERVER...
Que dois je faire??

Supprime les paquets ubuntu-desktop et gdm + tout ce que tu as installé en plus de l'install de base.

En plus de ubuntu-desktop et de gdm, il peut y avoir d'autres paquets qui restent. Fais un:
dpkg −−get−selectionspour voir tous les paquets installés. Puis un grand nettoyage.:)

Hello,
peut etre également xserver-xorg, suivi d'un apt-get autoremove ...
toutes les applis graphiques, je pense, seront alors desinstallées ...
apres il faut installer les services ubuntu-server comme ssh, lamp (cf documentation) ...
