Bamboo fun marche pas ..???

Bonjour, je viens de reevoir une tablette graphique Bamboo fun (ID 056a:00d2 Wacom Co., Ltd ) mais je n'arrive pas à la faire fonctionner ?
je tourne sur ubuntu 9.04, j'ai téléchargé le pilote linuxwacom-0.8.2-2, la tablette est bien reconnu mais lorsque je suis le tuto j'obtiens une erreur ?

La tablette est reconnue mais qu'est-ce qui ne marcha pas?

Perso j'ai une bamboo one reconnue à chaud sous 9.04 et sous 9.10 (même si j'ai un pb après la maj elle n'était plus reconnue. Le lendemain sans rien faire ça marchait!)

Idem, je viens de me procurer une Bamboo fun M
Bien reconnu avec lsusb mais impossible de faire bouger le curseur

Apparament se serait une nouvelle gamme wacom mais ceci dit le pilote est bien supporté ID 056a
Je teste deux ou trois trucs ce soir et je vous tiens au courant !

PS : Je suis sous karmic

Redémarrage complet de mon ordi à la fin du tuto.
Ma tablette branchée lors du redemarrage n'était pas fonctionnelle. Je l'ai débranché (reboot du serveur X Oo) puis je l'ai rebranché après m'être reconnecté et ça fonctionne !

Ce qui fonctionne : mouvement avec stylo, pression, et bouton du stylo
Je n'ai pas été plus loin pour configuré la gomme et les expresskeys de la tablette.
On se tient au courant !

Alors tu remarqueras qu'il faut pas installer les paquets wacom

sudo apt-get remove wacom-tools xserver-xorg-input-wacom

Commence le tutorial à partir de là

# apt-get install build-essential libx11-dev libxi-dev x11proto-input-dev 
# apt-get install xserver-xorg-dev tk8.4-dev tcl8.4-dev libncurses5-dev
# apt-get install libhal-dev
# apt-get upgrade

Voici les grandes lignes du tutoriel, mais en aucun cas ce qu'il faut faire dans le détail, suit le tutoriel.

Ne pas oublier cette étape pour la compilation... Une erreur make chez moi apparaissait ne trouvant pas ce fichier

Tu installes les paquets
Tu télécharges le pilote sur linuxwacom (j'ai utilisé le 0.8.4-4 )
Tu télécharges wcm2_patch.tar.bz2 et suit les instruction de patch

# patch -p1 < wacomcpl-exec.patch
# patch -p1 < wacom_sys.c.patch
# patch -p1 < wacom_wac.c.patch
# patch -p1 < wacom_wac.h.patch
# patch -p1 < wactablet.h.patch
# patch -p1 < wacusb.c.patch
# patch -p1 < wcmUSB.c.patch

Tu effectues les manip

# insmod /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/kernel/drivers/input/tablet/wacom.ko
# depmod -e

Tu copies le fdi récupéré précédement

# cp Favux_Bamboo-Pen\&Touch-working_10-wacom.fdi.txt /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/20thirdparty/10-linuxwacom.fdi

TU suis la fin du tuto

et tu copies ce fichier

Tu redémarres en prenant soin de débrancher ta tablette et quand tout est démarré tu branches.

je te remercie beaucoup d'avoir pris ce temps et du courage il en faut ! c'est un coup a peter un plomb ! j'ai pourtant réussi a installer une carte son emu 0404 ? je suis pas doué mais quand même ! là je bloque, je comprends rien, je suis la démarche et ça marche pas j'ai toujours des erreurs de je ne sais quoi.... bref je vais faire une pose et ressayer plus tard ou alors attendre qu'une mise à jour miraculeuse vienne régler mon problème !

bon apparemment j'ai installé le paquet linuxwacom-0.8.4-4 lol

ensuite j'ai pu déplacer le fichier fdi

j'ai pas compris la manip # insmod /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/kernel/drivers/input/tablet/wacom.ko
# depmod -e et les patchs ?

En fait l'objectif c'est de patcher le driver linuxwacom.

Dans un premier temps supprime le dossier linuxwacom que tu as dezippé.
Redézippe le.
Dézippe le wcm2_patch.
Copie le contenu de ce dernier dans le répertoir linuxwacom linuxwacom-0.8.4-4.

Effectue les manipulations de patch dans ce répertoire (celle marquée plus haut ou dans le tutoriel en anglais, j'insiste lis bien le tutoriel en anglais, le miens avant de manipuler ^^)

Après tu pourra ce que l'on appel compilé (configure, make, make install), le but étant de récupéré un wacom.ko (spécifique à ton kernel)

Le mieux à faire pour réussir cette manipulation :

- effacer tout les répertoires linuxwacom, patch etc...
- les redezipper
- supprimer les paquets wacom-tool et xserver-xorg-input-wacom
- lire attentivement le tutoriel en anglais aidé de ma rapide traduction française.

Au passage j'ai aussi effectuer cette opération sous karmic car au moment du make il ne trouvait pas le fichier hid. (je rajoute cette étape dans ma traduction)

# wget http://kernel.ubuntu.com/git-repos/ubuntu/linux-2.6/drivers/hid/hid-ids.h
# cp ./hid-ids.h /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build/drivers/hid/hid-ids.h
# apt-get install patch

je vais vraiment peter un plomp, je suis *** ou quoi !

tout semblait bien ce passer, je reboot la bamboo debranché, je branche et là ! nada, rien !le curseur ne bouge pas ....

peut etre que le pilote 0.8.4-4 ne convient pas ? ou c'est la 9.04 ? ou le kernel 2.6.28 .?

Non vraiment je sais pas ? en tout cas je te remercie de tous ces détails qui doivent te prendre du temps ! mais bon avec tous ça, je devrais pouvoir y arriver pourtant !!!!!

je poserai une derniere question comment faire pour bien tous purger desinstaller les manip que j'ai déjà faite pour repartir vraiment à zerro ?

Tu as bien récupérer et placer le fdi ?

Lorsque tu édites le dernier fichier à la ligne 88

ATTRS{idVendor}=="056a", ATTRS{idProduct}=="[b]00d1[/b]", SYMLINK="input/tablet-wacom-bamboo-pen_touch-$env{WACOM_TYPE}"

Remplace le 00d1 par ce que tu obtiens en faisant un lsusb. Par exemple chez moi 00d3

pour le fdi oui mais enfaite je viens de m'appercevoir qu'il me faut le 10-wacom.fdi pour jaunty et pas 10-linuxwacom.fdi, je le cherche mais sans succès pour l'instant...

create (or edit) either /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/20thirdparty/10-linuxwacom.fdi (if running Ubuntu Karmic)
or /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/20thirdparty/10-wacom.fdi (for Ubuntu Jaunty)

et pour la ligne 88 oui c'est bon.

Alors j'ai une réaction lorsque je pose le stylet sur la banboo, tout disjoncte ! sinon avec le doigt rien ne se passe?

tout disjoncte, pas facile a décrire comme symptôme, le pc se coupe et se rallume avec un écran noir par intermittence? j'ai jamais vue ça ?:(

Pour le fdi tu peux toujours tenter de renommer simplement le fichier en 10-wacom.fdi au lieu de 10-linuxwacom.fdi

Chez moi le doigt ne fonctionne pas non plus, ceci dit mon server x se restart si je le démarre avec la tablette branchée et que je la débranche.

- activer/paramétrer le scrolling vert/horiz aux doigts

- si la rotation (aux doigts toujours) est activable/paramétrable

- ainsi que le zoom (en écartant les doigts "façon-Iphone")
