CouCou les gens et joyeux noel.

Eh ben moi, là sur mon portable, écran noir en quittant le chroot (avec nv)....deux fois de suite...

En prenant driver vesa, alors là, c'est carrément inutilisable. L'écran est touuut décalé.

alors

pc portable 1 : carte graphique nvidia : avec ou sans compiz, impossible de sortir du chroot. En vesa, écran tout décalé inutilisable dans le chroot, en nv, ne sort pas du chroot.

pc portable 2 : carte graph ati : avec compiz, ca fonctionne.

C'est exactement ce que j'ai avec nvidia + chroot, j'arrive pas à trouver de solution...

Il trouve pas la résolution d'affichage, ça doit expliquer le décalage.
Si je redémarre l'ordi sans rien toucher à la config, ça démarre avec vesa sans problème.

Xorg doit avoit un cache mémoire ou un truc dans le genre qui disparait à l'extinction du pc. Si vous avez une idée pour reset ce "cache" je suis preneur smile
Ou alors, il faudrait imposer une résolution (avec le xorg.conf ?), en detectant, au préalable, la résolution actuelle.

edit : petite précision : j'ai généré le xorg.conf au moment de l'installation du .run, le xorg ne s'est donc jamais lancé avec le xorg.conf généré par nvidia (c'est peut-être important)

Après j'enlève le pilote nvidia puis j'active vesa, je relance la session graphique et bingo ça marche smile

Pour ce qui est du chroot :

Le problème persiste avec le xorg.conf modifié.
Mais j'en suis pas resté là big_smile

J'ai regardé le script, j'ai vu qu'il génère un xorg.conf assez space pour le chroot. J'ai fait simple : sachant que sous karmic xorg peut se débrouiller sans xorg.conf, j'ai tout simplement supprimé la fonction du script qui génère le xorg.conf et remplacé par

sudo rm /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Et ça marche !! J'entre dans le chroot sans problème avec le pilote nvidia.run installé !

A toi de corriger tout ça smo smile

moi je peux faire un backup du xorg.conf et en generer un comme ca mais faudrait relancer X avant de lancer le chroot c est ca ?

Enfin cela dit, tout n'est pas rose dans le chroot malgré cette correction, la sortie du chroot ne marche pas (la plupart du temps) : écran noir, reboot à l'arrache obligé.

et moi aussi parfois, sur mon autre portable avec ati, parfois aussi le chroot plante ! rien à faire, si ce n'est redémarrer à l'arrache.:(

bah oui c est lié avec vos pb de xorg de la taille du home sous chroot de ce que vous y faites etc, perso ca ne m arrive plus jamais

soyez patients et faites ctrl+impr ecran+b ou ctrl+impr ecran + o (comme olivier) pour redemarrer wink au pire des cas

et une fois redemarré regarder le log du chroot voir sur quoi il a bloqué

j attend vos details vu ue moi je n ais pas de nvidia...

je viens de trouver un truc dans mon script qui fout la merde dans certains cas avec dbus
et vu que je t'avait dit de faire la bidouille, je viens aussi pour te signaler
la modif a faire, remplace:

Tout d'abord félicitations pour ce script c'est du bon boulot, une grande partie fonction très bien.
J'ai rencontré quelques problèmes toutefois et n'ai toujours pas réussi à créer une clé fonctionnelle pour le moment.

Mon objectif : créer une clé basé sur Linux Mint Helena en français avec quelques paquets et logiciels en plus et Firefox préconfiguré.

Comme le dit frafa juste au-dessus il y a un problème avec dbus et j'espère que cela sera corrigé rapidement.

Premier point, impossible d'installer n'importe quelle distrib sur ma clé 16go, lors de la copie il essaye de me créer 2 partitions, sdc1 ~4Go et sdc2 ~12Go. Le formatage fini systématiquement par une erreur sdc2 à un format invalide. Serait-il possible n'avoir une option pour sauter cette étape car je peux tout à fait formater la clé moi-même avec gparted.

Pour contourner ce problème j'ai créer un iso que j'installe sur la clé avec UNetbootin (qui fonctionne très bien avec l'iso d'origine). La clé boot bien au démarrage et j'arrive sur le grub. Ensuite j'obtiens ensuite une erreur invalid kernel. Il doit y avoir un problème quelque part, peut-être lié à dbus.

Deuxième point, il serait bien de ne pas avoir à télécharger les paquets (langue, etc...) lorsque ceux-ci sont encore disponible en local. Avec ma connexion cela me prend plus d'une heure à chaque fois.


Voilà j'espère que ce script continuera sa progression, il est très prometteur.

Vérifiez que rien n'a été effacé ou encore que votre disque/partition qui le contient est bien monté...

cela dit tu fais

sudo palimpsest
tu formattes la partition en ext3 avec le bon label

tu relances le script en choisissantta distrib et tu fais copier et voila
cle deja prete ca roulera

yberges si t es sure que ton dossier a pas bouge effaces le .ubukeymaker ou edites le .config dedans et changes le lien puis relances smile

Yep j'ai jeté un oeil au script pour voir comment il veut le formatage et j'ai réussi à passer cette étape en formatant comme il faut avec gparted smile

Par contre la clé ne fonctionne toujours pas, bloqué sur le grub. Il n'y même pas de message d'erreur, je fais entrée, l'écran clignote une fraction de seconde et je suis de nouveau sur le menu de sélection, que ce soit en normal, persistant ou recovery.

J'avais modifié le script avec ce qu'à proposé frafa mais j'obtiens toujours une erreur avec dbus, dans ce cas je redémarre et plus d'erreur.

Je ne sais malheureusement pas pourquoi la clé refuse toujours de fonctionner.

Voici l'erreur avec dbus

Clé usb déjà préparée, partition extlinux-ro dispo sur /dev/sdc 

error: dbus_bus_get: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.FileNotFound: Failed to connect to socket /var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket: No such file or directory
cle détectée sur /dev/sdc, Rebranchez la pour continuer...

Je crois que si je n'entre pas dans le chroot graphique je n'obtiens pas cette erreur. Quoiqu'il en soit je dois redémarrer et plus d'erreur. Donc comme tu peux le voir l'erreur arrive dans la détection de la clé, l'erreur s'affiche en boucle indéfiniment, mais je ne pense pas que ce soit la source de l'erreur.

J'aimerai bien booter en persistant mais là pareil je ne dépasse pas le grub hmm

Autre erreur, non bloquante, que j'obtiens lors de la création de la clé

Mise a jour de l initramfs et vmlinuz : usb
cp: ne peut évaluer `/home/oem/Documents/distribs/LinuxMint/chroot/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.31-14-generic': Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type
Détection de l'espace nécessaire sur la cle

Et une autre à la fin de la création de la clé

Vérification des process restants... 

lsof: status error on /home/oem/Documents/distribs/LinuxMint/chroot: No such file or directory

J'ai refait un essai.

J'ai tout supprimer, le dossier de configuration, les fichiers anciennement créés et le script dans /usr/local/bin.

Bilan :
- dbus : toujours la même erreur
- .../chroot/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.31-14-generic : jamais créé, d'où l'erreur de copie
- lsof : le dossier chroot disparait entre "Mise a jour de l initramfs et vmlinuz : usb" et "Copie en cours..."

J'espère que cela te sera utile.

Je vais refaire un essai d'ici peu (c'est long avec ma connexion) en installant le kernel 2.6.31-17, le seul présent sur ma machine, dans chroot et en copiant le vmlinuz-2.6.31-17-generic dans le dossier boot si celui-ci manque toujours.
